(Aro)
I was sitting on the couch in our room looking at Carlisle drawing blood from Isabella. I was not happy about this, but it looked like it was the only solution we got to this situation. My pet was getting insatiable sometimes, and I would end tired and not moving for days. We did not understand why was happening, but her blood helped me to get my health back.
"I already told you that I don't like this," I said, and she rolled her eyes.
"We are taking less blood than usual. you will take it mixed with regular bag blood and we will see if this works," She said pressing cotton against her arm. "It's not hurting me, and Carlisle checked for my blood account and it's perfect."
"Old friend, we are searching for an answer about this, but it looks like is something unique," Carlisle said and I nodded.
"That is making this difficult for me as I'm afraid to endanger her," I said.
Marcus entered the room with an old parchment on his hand and Caius behind him. He sat on the couch and took a breath before talking.
"Isabella, I need to ask some questions and I need you to be honest with me," Marcus said and Isabella nodded. "I already checked that you have five days a month when you are particularly horny, and you jump at my brother at every opportunity you have. How do you feel besides the obvious sexual needs?"
"Well, is difficult to say and embarrassing," Isabella said blushing, "I just feel like I have to be with him and that only this will make me feel better"
"But what is the part that makes you feel good" Marcus asked uncomfortably.
"Err, I think when he comes, when I feel him coming inside me," Isabella said, blushing deeper.
"Sometimes I feel that her objective is to make me come as many times as possible. This is what makes me feel so tired." I said embarrassed. "Why are you asking this?"
"Because if I'm not mistaken this is happening during her fertile days. Am I right?" Marcus asked, and Isabella nodded, "I think she is in heat"
"My intended is not an animal to be in heat!" I yelled, and they jumped.
"No, but you have an animalistic side which can make her enter into heat." Marcus said, "This is not intentional, but I think if Carlisle can measure her hormones right now, you will see that she is generating enough hormones to host a child."
"I can check this if you want as I have blood at my disposal," Carlisle said, "It takes some minutes to do it and I could smell it if I search for it."
"Do it, I don't want her to be in danger," I said, and he nodded.
He took some of the blood and spilled it into a glass tablet. He put it near his nose and closed his eyes, thinking and muttering under his breath. He sighed and opened his eyes looking at her.
"Isabella, I need to make an internal exam. If you want, we can do this alone," Carlisle said and I growled, "I need to check something. Aro, Could you remember that I'm a doctor?"
"It's ok, I just will ask Caius and Marcus to leave the room. Aro would stay with us." Isabella said, sitting on the bed and preparing herself for the exam, "It's ok, I'm used to this, human girls do this all the time."
"Ok, call us when everything is done," Marcus said, leaving the room.
Carlisle sat on the bed near her legs and put some gloves, taking some strange contraptions and moved her dress, pulling down her panties. She looked at me and told me to sit near her taking my hands and shushing me. I was uncomfortable as I saw my old friend approaching his hands to her. He pushed the instrument inside her, and she gasped.
"This one is better than the last I used." She said embarrassed.
,"Yes, I bought them after I heard you were together as I thought it could be handy to have it," Carlisle said putting a little hyssop inside her and took it out some second after. "Yes, is like I thought. This was your third heat?"
"I think so, why?" Isabella asked.
"Did you have your period last month?" Carlisle asked.
"I don't think so but with the planning for the wedding I thought this would be normal," Isabella said, and I was confused.
"Ok, this will be uncomfortable for you, but I need to check something," Carlisle said, moving his hands again and Isabella yelped.
"What are you doing?" I asked him angrily.
"I'm sorry Bella, but I needed to check your cervix and I was right, it's close," Carlisle said taking off his gloves.
"Are you sure?" Isabella asked, tears on her eyes.
"Yes, honey, I'm sure; that explains why this heat was calmer this month," Carlisle said, and I was rather mad because I did not understand what they were talking about
"Care to tell me what is going on?" I asked icily.
"Love, please calm down. We are going to explain everything, but I needed one minute to take everything in. Carlisle just checked my uterus and found out that I will not have the heats anymore." Isabella said, blushing.
"So, if you are not having more heats that would mean that…" I said and I froze, "love, are you trying to say…"
"Yes, love. We are having a baby," Isabella said, and I blanked. "Aro, are you ok?"
"Yes, sorry, I just never thought I would be in this situation," I said taking her into my arms and holding her close to me, "Carlisle, what do we need to do now?
"She needs to eat properly, we will control her, and how her needs will change and probably I will have some blood for her in case she needs to take some. We can tell your brothers; they will be happy." Carlisle said, and I call Marcus, Dora, and Caius.
Marcus was holding a new book, and Caius had some snacks for her. Dora had a blue box, and she was smiling softly.
"We heard it and we are so happy. This baby will be our little one." Marcus said, smiling, "Thank you, dear one."
"We found a book about hybrid pregnancies, and we will help you." Caius said, "Maybe it will help you to understand your pregnancy better."
"How long?" Isabella asked.
"The usual, so probably you have eight more months to go," Dora said, holding Isabella in her arms. "It could be a good idea to have a wedding soon."
"Yes, I would love to get married before I would be the size of a whale," Isabella said, laughing
"You will be beautiful," I said, "I never thought I would be in love and looking at my wife round with my child."
"It will be ok, brother. You are not alone, we will help you all the way," Caius said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Now; my little sis needs to rest."
We nodded and they left the room while I put the blanket over Isabella's body, and she fell asleep fast. I started to read the book Marcus gave us and I found it useful. It was nice to see how little my baby was, and how he would grow up in the next days. I caressed her head and I sat on the bed by her side looking at her sleeping.
Isabella woke up several hours later and took a shower before following me to the kitchen. She prepared some sandwiches and poured a glass of blood for me. She sat on the table and started to eat while I drank the blood slowly. She sniffed and moaned softly, and I looked at her.
"Sorry, your glass smells nice," She said, blushing and I smiled.
"Do you want to taste this?" I asked, "Try to drink a little."
She took my glass and moved it near her mouth, sniffing again and sipping. She closed her eyes and drank all the glass in one single gulp. I just chuckled and I went to the fridge to take a blood bag and a second glass before pouring blood for the two of us. We were drinking when my brothers entered the kitchen with Carlisle and Esme. They looked at us and gasped.
"She stole my glass and I poured more for her," I said, shrugging.
"It just tastes so good, and I was so thirsty," Isabella said, blushing.
"It's ok honey, your baby is half-vampire after all and needs blood to grow up," Carlisle said.
"Carlisle told me you are pregnant, and you wanted to advance your wedding, so we have a lot of things to do. We can go to your room to start with the plans. Alice and Rosalie are fetching some books and catalogs for us to see." Esme said.
"Good idea. Aro, do we need something special for the wedding?" Isabella asked.
"Just remember that is a royal wedding and we need to invite all the important covens and some of the nomads. Marcus will be conducting the ceremony and I want Caius to be my best man,"
"I want Esme to be my maid of honor, and Alice, Rosalie, and Jane to be my maid brides. When do you think we can have everything ready?"
"We can prepare everything and get married in two months. You will be still not showing, and we will have time for all the planning." I said and they nodded
"Ok, I will go with Esme and start the plans. See you later, love," Isabella said kissing me and leaving the room.
I looked at her, and I felt Caius standing next to me. My brothers were happy, and we went to my study to prepare all the documents for this wedding. I needed to check all the laws and to see how long I would be able to postpone her change. Carlisle would buy some medical equipment to check on her often.
Life was good for the moment, but I had a feeling we would have some challenges on the road.
