The Love of a Lycan Ch. 4
Hermione sat in the common room beside the fireplace, waiting on Harry to come down. She stared into the fire as she thought on last night's events. After Ron was discharged from the hospital wing, he whined to anyone who would listen about how she and Harry told Kari to attack him. Granted there where plenty of witnesses to say otherwise, still it hurt them to have their so called friend trying to spread such a horrible rumor. Her frown deepened as she thought back on her friendship with the second youngest Weasley. While he certainly did have his moments, like helping save her from the troll and helping with the chess board to get the sorcerers stone. There was also the time that he...Actually, the more she thought about it the more she frowned. He did not want to help save her, even knowing that it was his fault she was in that bathroom in the first place. He never even apologized for it either. When they went after the stone, while true he did help them beat the chess board, if it wasn't for her then he would have died before even making it that far. Still, there was no gratitude, no appreciation. Ronald never really was all that helpful. Hell, he spent majority of his time eating, playing chess, sleeping, and generally goofing off. He never tries to do his own homework, instead forcing her to do it. He constantly insulted her and tried to get Harry to chose him over her. Ronald was never her actual friend she realized sadly. He was always Harry's friend and only saw her as someone that tagged along and was only good for her brains.
Hermione was brought out of her thoughts when she heard Harry coming down the stairs. Harry shook his head in answer to her silent question about said red head. Sighing she stood and they both made their way down to the Great Hall. Deciding to simply put the foul-mouthed redhead out of her mind and focus much more pleasant things, Hermione sat down beside Kari. Smiling at the silver goddess and trading their usual morning greetings, the group of budding friends began to eat and share idle talk. Kari was making everyone laugh with her jokes and telling people funny stories about pranks pulled in school. Hermione couldn't help but lean ever closer to her as time drew on. Ever since they had begun talking and building a friendship Hermione had noticed that Kari was a very... Well physical person. Every chance she had to touch Hermione in some way, whether it was her hand, her shoulders, or even pulling her into her lap, Kari always took it. Hermione slowly found herself becoming used to such affection and even begun seeking it out herself.
Kari smiled as she felt Hermione leaning more and more into her shoulder, casually slipping an arm around her waist. When the bell finally rang, signaling the end of breakfast, Kari stood up with the two young Gryffindores to lead them to their class. "So what are y'all's plans for the weekend," Kari asked since it was Friday. Hermione and Harry shrugged. "Well," Hermione started feeling a blush start to form on her cheeks," I was actually going to see if maybe you would like me to show you around Hogsmead." Kari grinned down at the little witch, gently squeezing her hip. "Like a date? I would love to," Kari said much to the brunette's delight. She was ecstatic to hear Kari refer to it as a date as well. Kari left the two young lions to their class and headed off to join her own group. Tomorrow would certainly be a fun day. Hermione and Harry attended their classes with little drama, the students excited for the champion drawing that will be taking place Sunday night. Hermione couldn't help but wonder if Kari was hoping to be a champion too. As they headed towards lunch, Hermione's thoughts kept her from noticing that someone was blocking her path. Running into the body caused both of them to fall to the ground with groans of pain. Hermione looked up to be met with deep blue eyes, she noted the long platinum blonde hair as well. It was the Beauxbatons girl that she was also attracted to. Blinking in surprise they both just stared at each other for a moment.
"Y'all alright?" The question snapped both of them out of their trance. They both looked up to see Kari standing there with a small smirk on her face. The Beauxbatons Angel and little lion both blushed before accepting the silver witch's help up. Kari wrapped an arm around both of the girls and began leading them down the hall towards the dining hall. "Hermione, this is Fleur, be careful she's just a dangerous as she is beautiful," Kari stage-whispered before continuing introductions, "Fleur this is Hermione, she's just as smart as she is beautiful." Kari laughed as they both glared and blushed at her. "Pleasure to meet you Fleur," Hermione said shyly. "The pleasure is all mine, 'Ermione." The French witch smiled beautifully at her in return. Hermione blushed deeply at the sound of her name rolling off Fleur's lips. Lord she had a thing for accents apparently. Kari continued to grin as all three sat down at the Gryffindore table, much to Hermione's surprise. As they filled their plates with food they made small talk. Soon the conversation turned to their weekend plans. Hermione blushed as Kari told the Beauxbatons witch about their date. The blonde looked slightly sad to hear they were going to go on a date, Hermione assuming the blonde was hoping to get with Kari. "Well I hope you 'ave a wonderful time on your date tomorrow," the blonde smiled sadly.
Kari leaned forward slightly catching Hermione's eye briefly before stunning both witches into momentary silence. "Well how about you join us my Rose, and we will have a triple date?" Both witches blinked before looking at each other. "What do you mean Kari," the brunette asked, still trying to wrap her brilliant mind around what Kari was suggesting. Leaning back once more, the silver witch smirked, "I mean all three us go on a date together. You know like a threesome," she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. Hermione looked to Fleur once more, unsure how to respond to that. Fleur coughed softly to clear her suddenly dry throat. "I wouldn't dream of imposing on your date Ma Cherie." "Not imposing at all, " Kari insisted before taking a bite of her roast. Hermione still remained silent trying to figure what Kari was playing at. Is she just one of those "players" that likes to sleep around? Sure Hermione was equally attracted to both of these witches but surely Kari didn't think that they could have an actual three way relationship did she?
As if reading Hermione's mind, Kari spoke once more, "ok lets be completely honest here. Hermione you feel attracted to both myself and Fleur right?" The small witch blushed deeply but slowly nodded her head. "Fleur you feel the same with Hermione and myself correct?" The blonde nodded silently as well. "Well I feel it for you two, so instead of trying to see who we like more or whatever nonsense, why don't we all just see what happens if we don't limit ourselves or feelings?" The two witches sat in silence contemplating Kari's suggestion for several minutes. Fleur was the first to speak, "I believe you are right Kari. My instincts are calling for both of you equally, as if I must have you both together. So I am willing to try this if you two are willing as well." Kari nodded then looked towards the quiet little bookworm that had yet to make any motion. Kari could see her mind going into overdrive, no doubt overthinking possible outcomes, pros and cons, and the like. Eventually the silver witch grew impatient and decided to turn that beautiful mind off for a few moments, she leaned down and quickly, yet softly pressed her lips against Hermione's. Effectively ceasing all of the brunette's brain function as the shock settled in at the two facts that one, Kari was kissing her and two, Kari was FREAKING KISSING HER! Kari leaned back with a smirk firmly planted on those full lips.
"You're thinking too hard about this 'Mione. Don't use your head right now. What do you want?" Hermione blinked back in silence for a moment before frowning slightly. "Well," she hesitated," I want both of you. I don't know why but I just can't stop thinking about both you." Kari nodded and smiled widely. "Then it is settled. The three of us will go on our first date tomorrow to Hogsmead!" Hermione and Fleur could not help the giggles that escaped them at Kari's proud and happy exclamation. They finished the rest of their lunch talking about their classes and schools, very happy and content with how their day was going. After lunch Kari and Fleur escorted Hermione to her class then Kari to Fleur's. All three agreeing to sit together at dinner to plan out their date for the next day. As Hermione crawled into bed later that night, she sighed happily. The joy, excitement, and overwhelming feeling of desire and something she couldn't quite place filled her to the brim. She had a date with the two most beautiful women in Scotland! Her! Plain, know-it-all Hermione! She fell into the land of dreams, filled with blue and silver eyes and for some odd reason Harpie like creatures and giant wolves.
