Title: Water Fight

Rating: PG

A/N: Day two! I'm going for a fun filled week. Let's have these two angsty kids relax for a bit.

WATER FIGHT

Tifa was lounging on an old beach chair out in her tiny back yard, enjoying the sunshine, relaxed. No kids were bothering her. Cloud was home, and currently busy cooking her dinner in the kitchen. The house was semi-clean, the laundry was done, so all she had to do was to collect all the vitamin D she could from the sun's rays.

She sighed in contentment.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, there was a whole different story.

"Are you sure this is okay?" Marlene asked, a little worried.

Denzel snorted.

Cloud just nodded his head, and continued to fill up the huge stock pot full of water. "Trust me. Tifa loves this."

"I don't think thats true-" Marlene started, but was interrupted by her two comrades.

"Yes it is."

"Arm yourselves, men." Cloud said, lifting the heavy pot out of the sink and heading towards the door. "We ride into battle."

Denzel opened the back door for Cloud, and the three walked outside- Cloud with a pot, the two kids trying their best to keep their giggles quiet.

Without wasting any time, Cloud marched across the lawn and behind Tifa, who didn't even open her eyes to look at him. She sensed his presence though, and opened her mouth to speak.

"Is dinner rea-"

With much ceremony, Cloud tipped the full pot of cold water over his partner, drenching her from head to toe. Tifa screamed in protest, with a few choice swear words in the mix, and struggled to pull herself out of the chair. She unceremoniously flopped onto the grass, reaching up and wiping the water out of her eyes.

"What the fu-!" Tifa coughed, feeling the burn of water in her nose.

The two kids were rolling on the ground with laughter; Cloud was quiet, but had a naughtly glinting look in his eyes.

Tifa pushed her wet hair over her shoulder. She slowly got up, balancing herself on both feet. She turned a menancing look on her family.

"You. Are. All. Dead."

The two kids took off at a run, laughing. Tifa, at this point, couldn't help but smile at the children. It was wonderful to see them enjoy life. Then she looked at Cloud.

"You are going to hurt." Tifa threatened, but Cloud just chuckled at her.

"Worth it."
