Summary:

After Motomiya Jun unsuccessfully drags her brother away from his cartoons, placing the city in Powerpuff Girls Z-inspired peril, it's up to the Chosen Children to take down this Rowdyruff Boy made real!

The city of Tokyo…

…is under attack by Motomiya Daisuke!

Garbage flying off the back of a truck. Creepy crawlies in people's food. Rain not in the forecast.

Jun thought by likening him to an anime villain (one from a magical girl anime, at that!), she'd pull him away from the idiot box, but her insults had clearly only embiggened his bad behaviour.

Daisuke stuck more or less word for word to episode 20's script, sliding around in Heelys and being a general nuisance. Toxic masculinity meets maximum immaturity.

"I'm Brick!" he declared, spinning a silly straw. "We're the Rowdyruff Boys!"

He said this without anybody playing terror tot brothers Boomer and Butch, a self-appointed leader of none.

Neither Ken nor Miyako nor Iori nor Takeru watched the show, so they wound up relying on knowledge from Hikari, who'd seen all fifty-two episodes of Powerpuff Girls Z.

And even Hikari had to give it to him, Daisuke did a pretty convincing impression of Brick's seiyuu, Kiuchi Reiko.

They couldn't have Daisuke continue committing petty acts of vandalism, annoying citizens with faux respect akin to the impertinence he held towards his old teacher at Odaiba Elementary.

According to V-mon, his partner wasn't far along as Hikari. He was therefore unaware the Powerpuff Girls later learned the Rowdyruff Boys' weakness.

"This is outrageous, Hikari-chan! Daisuke-kun's never going to buy it!"

Because of her expertise and love of pink, Hikari stood in for Blossom. As the team tomboy, Miyako interpreted Buttercup. They were short a girl, leaving the only blond, Takeru, the unfortunate task of portraying Bubbles, skirt inclusive.

"Rowdyruff Boys, your evil ends here!"

"You wanna fight? OK, let the bludgeoning begin!" He shoved a finger up his nose.

Moving forward with Hikari's plan (wincingly, in Takeru's case), the three "girls" each took turns blowing "Brick" a kiss.

Hit by imaginary hearts, Daisuke about-faced, kerplunk on the cement.

"Bingo! Problem solved!" Miyako snapped victoriously.

"MAMA!" Daisuke ran to and embraced a paralyzed Ken. "The Powerpuff Girls are bullying me!"

So much for sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Iori sweatdropped.

"Oh dear, I think Daisuke-kun just found his Mojo Jojo!" Hikari clapped.

Perhaps Ken underestimated how tightly the Digimon Kaiser's hamminess was still tied to him.
