Tigress opened her eyes. It was morning in the valley of peace. She lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling and exhaling loudly. It was long before the gong so she wanted to use the time to think about something. Or rather about someone.

It was yesterday when Po single-handedly stopped Tai Lung, saving the Valley of Peace and all of its people. And therefore she too. He did something that nobody even thought of. Nobody believed in him and he still made it and deciphered the secret of the dragon role.

'He is truly the dragon warrior.' Thought the orange striped feline.

Tigress sat on the edge of her bed and looked at her door. Through the door see could see the silhouette of a sleeping panda the room across from her. He was lying on his back with his arms crossed over his stomach. With every breath his chest rose and fell and he let out a loud breath.

'Sure Po is not the traditional warrior and he doesn't necessarily have the flour of one, but he definitely has the right to be here with us and to train among us, after everything he did yesterday.'

The orange striped warrior continued to think. Her thoughts went back when she first met Po. When he fell from the sky and snatched the title she had trained for all her life right under her nose. At that time she was very angry at him. And she let him feel that. He tried so many things to be a good comrade to her , but she refused everything. The only thing she did was insult him and try to drive him out of here.

She lowered her eyes to the floor and sighed.
Today she realized that she was wrong and she was really sorry. She wanted to make it up to him.

'But how?' She thought, 'I definitely have to apologize.'

But it would not be easy for her. She has never apologized to anyone for anything. She had never felt wrong or wanted to apologize to anyone. But it was different with the panda. Secretly, she hoped that they might even become friends. That Po forgives her mistakes and gives her a second chance. She raised her head again and stared at the silhouette of the sleeping panda. Today, She would do it today! And with those thoughts, she got up and opened the door.

She looked carefully left and right to make sure the passage was empty. Then she crept to the opposite door, opened it quietly, and tiptoed into Po's room. She walked across the room and came to a stand in front of his bed. When Po noticed noise next to him, he slowly opened his tired eyes. Everything was still a bit blurry and he was still half asleep. When he saw an orange silhouette in front of him, he raised his head.

"Tigress?" Whispered Po.

"Oh Master Tigress!" When he noticed who was standing in front of his bed, he was immediately wide awake and jumped up. Po was already anticipating the worst. He knew that if Tigress visited him, then he was in trouble. The last time she was in his room she yelled at him for not clearing up his things after training. There was a slight panic in the dragon warrior's eyes and he was mentally preparing to be yelled at by Tigress.

'Oh Po what have you done again' asked the panda himself and went through the previous day in his mind. Maybe he had done something or forgotten what made Tigress aggressive and now she is here to let him feel it. Tigress noticed this look and the panda's inner unrest.

Po is everything ok?" She asked in a soft voice and went a little closer to him.

Po´s panic became confusion. Did she just call him by first name? Not panda or any insult?

"Um ... yes" answered Po, looking Tigress straight in the eye.

"I mean ... um ... I mean" he stuttered a few more words, not knowing how to behave.

"Easy Panda you're not in trouble. I just wanted to talk to you."

Po´s tension subsided noticeably and he became calmer.

"So I'm not in trouble?" Asked Po with a high voice and a shy grin.

"No Po. Why should you be in trouble?" She asked, slightly confused.

"Well you know Tigress, you never wanted to talk to me like that and every time you do you yell at me or insult me for doing something wrong"

Tigress look became a little sadder and she realized again how wrong she had treated him. He was scared of her and couldn't really believe that she just wanted to talk.

"That's exactly what I want to talk to you about, Po. How about in my room tonight?" She asked

Po thought for a short amount of time "So-"

"Of course only if you want to talk to me." She added.

"Uhm yes. Yes, of course I want to talk to you Master Tigress" said Po with joy in his voice and a smile on his face.

"Okay good. Then until after training in my room" said Tigress. She bowed and left the room.

Po just stood there and looked at the point where she was standing. He could not believe it. Was he dreaming? Tigress was kind to him and invited him to her room. THE Hardcore master Tigress invited him to talk? A big, broad grin spreads across his face. He couldn't wait. He didn't know what or why she wanted to talk to him, but he was happy. For him it was definitely a big step to get closer to Tigress. He always dreamed of getting on better with her. And maybe one day he could call her a friend.

Well. He woke up from his daydream and went to the training hall. It hadn't been gong yet, but he couldn't sleep anyway.

Later dat day ...

Meanwhile it was in the evening in the valley of peace and the training of the 6 masters has just ended. Everyone has eaten something together and now they are currently doing their private business. So things they did when they weren't train.

Tigress was in her room, rummaging through an old wooden box. When she found what she was looking for, she put it in front of her face and examined it a little more closely. It was a small wooden dragon figure. It was no bigger than a keychain and had the Yin and Yang symbol carved on the side.

For Tigress it had a special emotional value. Master Ogway had given her the figure when she was younger. She always thought that Master Ogway gave her this figure as a sign that one day she would be the dragon warrior. But today she understands why he really gave it to her.

,There are no coincidences'

The old master's words came back in her mind and she grinned.

'Well Master Ogway, how right you are'

She would like to give this figure to the real dragon warrior, Po, as an excuse and a little attention. She just hoped that he would accept her gift and apology and that both of them could start a new chapter together. As friends.

Then she heard a knock on the door.

"Master Tigress" Po stood in front of the door and waits patiently for the door to open. Tigress stood in front of him with a grin and her usual training clothes.

"Hello Po. Please come in." She steps aside and gestured that he could enter. He passed her and stopped in the middle of the room. It wasn't the first time he was in here, but the last time he was more or less not entirely voluntary in Tigress's room. But today it is different. He was still a little excited, but different than usual. He turned and looked at Tigress, who had just closed the door and got a little closer to him.

"So ... you wanted to see me?" He started.

"Yeah, um, I wanted to ... talk to you about something"

"Well then, go ahead"

"So I wanted to apologize… to you"

Tigress couldn't look him in the eye when she said that and looked slightly to the side. Pos Mine got a little softer and he walked closer to her.

"To apologize? What for?" Asked Po. But then he saw a tear forming in her eye.

"For everything Po ... Simply for everything" Tigress now looked him straight in the eye and she started to sob. But before Po could say anything, it just poured out of her.

"For how I've treated you in the past few months. What I said to you. How I acted towards you. I apologize for all of this. I was wrong. You deserve to be the dragon warrior more than anyone else. You defeated Tai Lung and saved us all. You could have died, but you stayed and fought. You were always nice to me and I treated you badly and I'm so sorry. I hope that you can forgive me and that we may even become friends."

Tigress's vision was blurred from the tears in her eyes. But she suddenly felt that she was surrounded by something warm. Po had hugged her without a word and held her in a tight hug. Tigress was briefly shocked but then she returned the hug. So they stayed for a short time, until Po loosened again and looked directly into her eyes.

You don't have to apologize Tigers. I know how much you wanted the title for yourself and that you trained your whole life for it. I just came and steal it from you and that was not nice. But anyway thanks for this nice words."

Said Po and smiled at her.

"So, are you accepting my apology?" Tigress asked, still slightly unsettled.

"Are you kidding me, of course! Since I was a child, I wanted nothing more than to be friends with you. You are the coolest, awesomeness and beautiful woman i have ever seen in my entire life."

Tigress blushed a little among his compliments. She was endlessly happy that he had forgiven her.

"Thanks Po. I have something for you."

She took the dragon figure out of her pocket and gave it to Po.

"Wow this is awsome. Thanks Tigress where did you get it from?" asked Po. He examined the figure more closely and discovered the yin and yang symbol on the side of the figure.

"Master Ogway gave it to me when I was younger."

What?" He was shocked by this.

"I'm sorry Tigress, but I can't possibly accept that. If it's from Master Ogway. He gave it to you it is yours."

As he said that, he held his arm forward to give the figure back to Tigress, but she stopped him. She clutched his paw with hers and pressed it shut.

"Please Po. I want you to get it." She said and look at him.

"Okay tigress. I will always take care of this awsome figure" Po replied and smiled

"Also, are we friends now?" Po asked

"Yes we are" replied Tigress and smiled back at him

"Awsome" he whispered.

They just stand there in a pleasant silence for a moment until Po decided to break it.

"Ehm tigress?" He started.

"Yes?"

"May I hug you"
She rolled her eyes but grinned, and opened her arms "of course Po"

They both hug each other and Tigress released a pleasant sigh. She had done it. Po had forgiven her and they even became friends. From that day on, she would always have her back free no matter what.
