Of 'The Time that is Given to Us'

It has occurred to me to expand this little premise beyond my original intent, to a tale scaled in full and schemed as a grand plot.

That expansion, a work very much in progress, may be found in my story 'The Time that is Given to Us', which is to this a direct sequel.

I have for long tinkered with the idea of Saruman claiming the Ring, and it shall indeed feature Saruman as an incarnation of purest malice as I have depicted him here, as I find it a tale enjoyable to write.

For readers of 'The Shadow of Doom', the reason I seem to have temporarily ceased that tale is found in the fact that it is not entirely enjoyable and at times rather difficult to write. I plan to continue it, but I am, for the moment, glad that I have given it some closure I think appropriate.
