Chapter 6
The fight is not over.
Godzilla struggles to get up; as he is feeling a bit weakened by the attack from the xillain alliance's new kaiju weapon Oblivion. Mothra, and Gamera look at each other knowing what to do to help their king. Zilla starts to stir, and sees that Godzilla needs some help. Mothra, and Gamera start to glow; as they start to transfer some of their energy over to Godzilla. Feeling the energy start to go into him; Godzilla begins to get stronger.
"What is happening to him?"Mikki asks as she watches what the kaiju are doing.
"They are helping their king" Lucy weakly replies as she feels a bit drained from helping Godzilla.
Zilla rushes over to where Godzilla is, and clamps down on his back. Godzilla lets out a bellow of pain as Zilla sinks his teeth into his hide. It is then that Zilla begins to glow, and starts to transfer some of his energy into Godzilla. Godzilla's eyes pop open, and he begins to stand ready to fight once again. He then fully stands, and lets out a loud bellowing roar. He then turns to look at his allies as if to say thank you.
Gigan begins to stir as he slowly starts to stand. Gigan then looks around wondering what happened; he then lets out a loud screech of shock when he sees he is the only villain monster there. The rest of the earth defender monsters start glaring at him; being the coward he is Gigan takes to the skies heading back to the xillian alliance ship. However, using his new powers Godzilla unleashes his atomic breath; causing Gigan to fall out of the sky, and into the water.
Godzilla then turns towards his allies, and lets out a loud bellowing roar; all the allies roar back. It is then the kaijus begin to head back towards the ocean until the threat comes back.
At that moment Mikki rushes over to where Lucy had fallen.
"I think we had better get back to the lab, and see what is going on" Mikki tells one of the soldiers as he takes Lucy to the medical helicopter.
Back at the lab:
A doctor comes out of the operating room, and goes to talk with Mikki about Lucy's condition.
"I'm afraid she is going to have to remain on bed rest for a while. As that thing with the crystal has drained so much energy from her that she has gone into a coma." The doctor explains.
Mikki looks at what happened to her dear friend, and tries very hard not to cry. She ten walks over to the nearby window; to see all the destruction that happened. It is then that she hears someone calling her on the window still.
"Hello? Is someone there?" Mikki ask as she hears the voices.
"Yes there is, and we can help you with your friend, but first you need to go see the goddess" the voices reply.
Mikki looks around as to where the voices came from, and then she sees the two little girls on the window still that are only about one inch tall. She looks down at the girls, and recognizes them from when she encountered them when she was younger.
"I remember you two, you are the ones who brought Mothra to help deal with Godzilla" Mikki says as she remembers them.
"You do remember us Mikki! We just heard what happened to our friend Lucy, and we would very much like to help her" the fairies explain.
"How do you plan on doing that?" Mikki asks feeling a little confused.
"Lucy washed up on our shores years ago; she was beaten up pretty bad after she explained that she fell overboard a sinking ship. We managed to get her back to health; before we explained how Godzilla is the monster that needs to keep nature in balance. "the fairies explain.
"What do you mean by balance?" Mikki asks feeling more confused than ever now.
"All the monsters are represented by their elements, and each one has an alpha. For example, Gamera Earth, Zilla water, Rodan air, Mothra is just the alpha's second in command, and she is very loyal to the alpha." the fairies explain.
"So, what about Godzilla how does he fit in all of this?" Mikki asks.
"Godzilla is the alpha; he is the one who is ruler of this earth. He is the one force on this planet that can protect it. That weapon that the aliens used is an amalgamation of different alphas from different worlds." the fairies explain.
"Now how does Lucy fit into this?" Mikki asks.
"As we said earlier, she washed up on our shore, and we explained what we just told you about. Later she was given permission by us to meet the goddess of peace herself Mothra; she managed to get close enough to touch her, but she wound up getting uncouncious due to being to close to her. We decided she was worthy enough to have the power to know when nature is out of balance. Right now, that power has put her in this state, cause of how week the earth defenders are feeling right now" the fairies explain to Mikki.
"So, how do we get her out of the coma?" Mikki asks.
"You must get nature back in balance; to do that we have to eliminate the threat that is causing nature to be out of balance." The fairies explain.
"And that would be the space monsters, am I correct?" Mikki asks.
"You are sort of correct in a way, there is just one monster that needs to be destroyed. As he is an abomination of all that is evil on this world. The monster known as Oblivion is a combination of different monsters; one of which is the evil half brother to Godzilla" The fairies reply.
"But, how are we suppose to defeat this new threat, when right now Godzilla is too weak to fight?" Mikki asks as she is about to cry. "I mean the earth is doomed thanks to that thing that the vortakk xillaian alliance created"
"Don't worry Mikki by the time that monster show up again, Godzilla will have recovered enough that he will be able to defeat the monster. Also, since the earth defense monsters that have proclaimed the earth as their home; have decided to follow their one true king, they'll help Godzilla defeat the monster" the fairies explain.
"I hope so" Mikki replies.
Meanwhile back on the Vortakk ship Oblivion is getting some much-needed repairs, and upgrades. Vorticia is looking on at what is going on with their creation; with a bit of an angry face. X emerges from the door behind her, so he can check to see how the progress is coming along. At that moment Vorticia turns to look at X with a vein of disapproval.
"What were you thinking of sending our weapon out so early?!" Vorticia angrily asks.
"I wanted to test him; to see how he would do against the king. I'll say he did a pretty good job." X explains.
"A good job! Is that all you have to say is a good job?!" Vorticia angrily glares at him.
"Look! I already have a plan to get rid of that radioactive waste of time!" X replies.
"Oh really, and what plan is that?!" Vorticia snaps at him.
"Let's just say that Godzilla will soon have his hands full very soon" X replies.
Back in the lab Mikki decides to do some research on the monsters that make up the newest creation Oblivion. She begins her research with the monster that is the evil half to Godzilla; Xenilla Space Godzilla. She begins to read at how his evil half was created, and how it had the ability to telepathically manipulate objects. Another thing that she reads about Xenilla is how with the help of a mech; Godzilla was able to defeat this abomination. She also reads that Xenilla when he was alive; was just as powerful as his other half, so powerful in fact that if he hadn't been defeated, he would have taken over the world.
After reading about Xenilla; Mikki decides to research another monster, but this one she is more familiar with. Since she was there when this monster killed Godzilla's song in battle; she remembers like it was yesterday. She remembers seeing that winged demon of a kaiju carrying off jr into the sky, and dropping him on top of a building from that height it weakened jr so badly; that not even Godzilla could save his son. She shudders at the memory, and gets back to researching Destoyah. As she is researching; she stares at the camera that her friend Lucy is in, and wonders if Godzilla is feeling just as weak.
Meanwhile near the city Mothra, Rodan, Zilla, and Gamera all keep an eye on their king as he is regaining his strength for the next battle. Zilla senses something close by; he perks up when he sees a dorsal fin cruising in the water. Zilla knows what monster this is; an ancient enemy that has awakened to try to challenge the two rulers of the water once again. Gamera, and Zilla look at each other, and they know what they must do. They both enter the water to face the enemy that lies just below the surface of the water.
Zilla dives deep to challenge the giant shark, however Zigra knows that his two adversaries are making their way towards him. Zigra begins to make his way to meet the two earth defenders, and Zilla manages to dodge the attack by the big shark; while Gamera manages to slice at him with his clawed hands. Zigra lets out a low growl as the turtle manages to scratch him on the side; he then turns around for another attack. Zilla sees what is going with Zigra, and swims towards the shark like kaiju. Using his razor-sharp fins Zigra manages to scratch Zilla.
Zilla lets out a bellowing roar of pain as blood begins to drain from the gaping wound. Gamera seeing his fellow earth defender wounded; begins to charge towards the shark kaiju at full speed. Zigra is surprised by the attack; as Gamera starts to rip, and tear at the shark. Zigra manages to shake off the attack, and fires his cell activity suspension beam at Gamera; who manages to pull his head in his shell just in time. After getting his head back out, Gamera fires a fireball at Zigra.
Zigra screams in pain as the fireball hits him in the back, and he attempts to get away from the monsterous turtle. Gamera using his jets manages to grab a hold of the shark kaiju, and force Zigra to start diving to the bottom. However, before they can make it to the bottom; they are ambushed by another monster. This monster looks like a cross between a snake, and a dragon. Gamera recognizes her as his old friend Manda.
Manda offers her assistance by wrapping the shark kaiju in her grasping body, and helping Gamera bringing Zigra down to the bottom of the ocean. Zigra tries to escape from the grip of Manda, but finds that she is too strong for the dragon kaiju. Zigra then deploys his pectoral fins, and scratches Manda with them; causing her to let go. Manda growls in pain at having to feel those spikes, and starts to float to the bottom.
Gamera looks at his allies who are beaten, and wounded. Gamera turns angrily towards Zigra, and growls. Gamera then pulls his legs inside his shell, and begins to speed towards Zigra. Zigra knowing how angry Gamera is right now; decides he better swim away. However, before he could get away from the turtle like kaiju; Gamera manages to grab him. And is on his way towards an active volcano.
Meanwhile up on the surface the old king is stirring when he hears that two of his allies are injured, and that his friend is making a mistake. Godzilla slowly starts to rise; much to the astonishment of Rodan, and Mothra. Godzilla looks at his two friends, and nods as he heads for the water. Gamera is about to toss Zigra into the active underwater volcano; when he hears a loud bellowing roar in the water. Gamera looks around in confusion as to where that roar came from; he turns his head to see his friend Godzilla heading right for him.
Gamera growls at Godzilla for interfering for what he is about to do to his long-time foe Zigra. Godzilla manages to unleash some of his atomic breath at Gamera; warning him not to toss him into the volcano. Gamera looks at Godzilla in confusion, wondering why he wants him to stop. Godzilla growls at Gamera to let Zigra go, and so Gamera releases him. Feeling wounded from the beating that he took from Gamera; Zigra heads down to the depths of the ocean.
With that Godzilla glares at Gamera as if asking why he would do that to a foe that was just protecting his turf. Godzilla starts to swim back up to the surface; with Gamera on his back for the ride. They make it to the surface; only to see something waiting to greet them. The jaeger Gypsy Avenger is right there waiting for them, but however it isn't threatening Godzilla.
"I hope this idea works" Raleigh says as he sees Godzilla looking at him.
"This has to work, otherwise we won't be able to protect the planet from any more alien attacks." Mikkou replies.
Gypsy Avenger marches towards Godzilla, and stops just a few feet in front of him. At that moment the jaeger offers Godzilla a handshake.
Well this happened, so it turns out the jaegers might have to work with Godzilla in order to take down the vortakk xillian alliance. Will Godzilla accept this temporary truce, or will he decide to destroy them? Find out in the next chapter.
