Chapter 8
Battlefield Earth
Oblivion looks around feeling a bit weak from his own blast; meanwhile the other monsters look a bit forlorn. As they know that one of the great guardians just got killed; Mikki, and the fairies look onto the battlefield a little sad at what happened with Mothra.
"Mikki look!" The fairies point out across the battlefield.
Mikki looks out, and sees a bit of Mothra's dust making it's way towards something. At that moment Lucy starts to wake up, and with her crutches manages to make it towards where Mikki is. She then sees where her laptop is, and starts to track where the dust is heading.
"Lucy you are awake!" Mikki says in surprise.
"Sorry Mikki can't talk right now, I gotta figure out where that dust is going" Lucy replies as she is doing some calculations on her computer.
As she is doing some of the calculations; some of the other monsters decide to try to fight again. Rodan tries to blow Oblivion with his hurricane wings, and Gamera tries to spray him with a storm of his fireballs. Oblivion just shrugs them off like they were nothing. Mikki, and Lucy meanwhile have finally figured out where the dust might settle, and if they are right then Oblivion might be in big trouble. Oblivion glares at the rest of the kaiju as they continue their assault on him; he lets out a loud roar as Gypsy Avenger fires missiles at him. Oblivion fires his oxygen destroyer beam at the jaeger; nearly destroying it.
Oblivion begins to approach the fallen jaeger; when a loud SKReeeeeeoooooonnnnkkkkk is heard. Hearing that Oblivion turns his head towards the sound; to figure out where it came from. From the dust of the ruined city; Godzilla begins to rise, and growls at Oblivion. When the dust clears; Godzilla looks like his full of radiation. He looks like his burning Godzilla form; Oblivion thinks he can take him.
Meanwhile on their headquarters on the moon; X, and Vorticia are shocked, and amazed by what they are seeing.
"How is this possible? I mean we had him?! Now he is almost unstoppable!" X exclaims as he sees how powerful Godzilla looks now.
"Relax darling; I'm sure that our creation will be able to finish this new form of Godzilla. Then we can rule the earth together" Vorticia replies.
Seeing his old foe has returned; Oblivion drops Gypsy Avenger, and charges towards Godzilla. Seeing that Oblivion is about to charge towards him; Godzilla unleashes a nuclear pulse. The pulse spreads out, and damages Oblivion badly, but doesn't hurt the earth defenders who hide when the pulse goes off. Oblivion howls in pain as the pulse hits him; he then fires a cadmium missile at the monster. Godzilla shrugs the attack off like it was nothing; that is when seeing that he is weakened from the attack Gamera charges towards Oblivion.
Oblivion howls in pain as Gamera clamps down onto his arm. With a pop, and sizzle the arm is taken off by Gamera. Using her scutes Zilla rams into Oblivion's body; causing the kaiju to howl in pain. Rodan decides to swoop in behind Oblivion, and fire some uranium heat beam at the back. Oblivion feeling a little bit annoyed about almost being defeated flies up into the air, and unleashes a pulse of his own.
This causes some of the monsters to go flying a little bit, but Godzilla still remains where he was standing. Godzilla utters a challenging roar towards Oblivion; who replies with his own roar. At that moment both monsters begin to charge towards each other; upon contact with Godzilla Oblivion utter a guttural scream of pain.
"What the heck?! Noooooo! Our plans are ruined Godzilla is much too powerful to be dealed with!" X says as he sees that Godzilla's touch is having a problem on Oblivion.
"We must retreat Now! Before anything else can go wrong!" Vorticia orders.
"But, our plans" X whines.
"Our plans are going to have to wait for many more years; we will have earth one day." Vorticia replies.
Meanwhile back on earth; it seems that burning Godzilla's form is having an affect on Oblivion. As Godzilla's very touch seems to make Oblivion start to melt. Oblivion bellows in pain as his head detaches from his body; Godzilla tosses the head aside, and his spines start to glow. At that moment he unleashes a nuclear pulse; that causes the rest of Oblivion to melt, and turn into ash. Godzilla looks around to see his allies who have fought alongside him; have collapsed due to exhaustion.
It is then that Godzilla emits a victory roar, and with that roar he emits some extra radiation. The radiation spreads to his allies; who begin to stir. Seeing that they have won the fight; the monsters all bow before the true king of the monsters Godzilla.
Well guys that's a wrap on this story. My next Godzilla project that I'll be working on is going to be called The Kaiju Knights. It is something similar to the power rangers, but with Godzilla. Hope you guys will enjoy.
