Hello!

*Pin drops*

Confound it! Pick up those pins before someone steps on them!

Anyway… welcome to my very first fanfiction! This takes place after the end of Legacy. I hope you enjoy!

Preface:

It was time.

The Neverseen had them where they wanted them. But there was still a way out of this. Stellarlune. Sophie looked over at her friends. She loved them all. She would do anything for them. Even using Stellarlune. It was dangerous and untested. And, in all likelihood, it would kill her. But Sophie was willing to pay that price. Anything to save her friends.

It was time for Sophie Foster to die.

When Sophie woke up, she didn't remember anything bad that had been happening. She just remembered the unicorns and glitter from her dreams. But after about five seconds of peace in her bed, all of the horror came rushing back.

Councilor Lying-Curls.

Keefe.

The cache.

The cache. Last night she and The Devil Woman opened it. The revelations were awful. Horrifying. World-altering. The secret of Stellarlune is-"

Sophie's thoughts are interrupted by the blaring of her imparter. She grudgingly crawled out of her warm bed to get it. She immediately regretted it. It was from Fitz.

What does Fitz want? Why's he calling me? She glanced in the mirror and was horrified by the state of her hair. Fitz couldn't see her like this!

"Ms. Foster, if you don't stop that infernal beeping, I will snap your imparter in half!" A familiar, squeaky voice threatened. Well, she didn't really have a choice now, did she? She pressed the answer button and…"

"Sophieit'sKeefegetoverherenowhurry!" Then the imparter clicked off.

Sophie stood there in shock for a few minutes, slowly separating the stream of sounds into words. Then they clicked. Sophie dropped the imparter, not caring if it broke. Something was wrong with Keefe!

She ran into her closet and pulled on the first tunic she saw. Then she raced out her room, only to slam into a solid wall of goblin.

"Sandor, we have to go to the Healing Center! It's Keefe!" She tried to dunk under his arm, but he blocked her.

"We can't leave without telling your parents where we're going!" Sandor squeaked. "We also can't leave with your hair looking like verminon were chewing on it." She self-consciously touched her hair before shaking her head.

"That doesn't matter! Keefe's in trouble!" But the goblin wasn't having any of it. He marched her downstairs, told Edaline they would be leaving soon, and then had Edaline brush Sophie's hair. Sophie complained and begged the entire time, and as soon as her mom released her she ran full speed up the stairs.

"Foxfire!" Sophie yelled once both she and Sandor were in the Leapmaster. Sophie hit the ground running. She pushed every ounce of energy into her legs, racing through the doors and halls. Sophie sprinted through the doors of the Healing Center and accidentally slammed into Tam as soon as she entered the crowded room.

"Ow!" Tam yelled as they collapsed into a heap on the floor.

"Whoa, Foster, there are better ways of starting a Foster-Keefe Healing Center Sleepover© than getting a concussion." Sophie gasped and looked up. Keefe was still laying on the cot he had been on since they brought him here. But he was awake.

Sorry that was so short. I'll try and make a longer one next time. Adiós!
