Second Chances : Chapter Seven
A.J. and Carly tried to lift the pieces of the plane from off of Starr, but there was too much debris and not enough time.
"Please don't leave me. I love you Starr," Michael stated as he held onto her hand.
"I loved you too. Please promise me that you'll find Hope and Cole for me. Tell them that I loved them and I never wanted to leave them," Starr gasped out in-between labored breaths.
"I promise that I'll find them," Michael whispered as Starr took her last breath and closed her eyes.
"Help me somebody...Please." Michael screamed.
"What happened?" Robert asked as he and Anna came across A.J. and Carly.
"Starr died," Carly whispered.

"There's so much that we need to talk about," Tea stated to Victor.
"You're right. Tea, I'm not in love with you. I love somebody else," Victor confessed.
"What? Who is she?" Tea demanded to know.
"You already know who she is...you've always known."
"I thought that you had gotten over your obsession with Marty."
"It's not an obsession, it's love and I will make her mine damnit."
"What about us?" Tea asked.

"What do you want?" Todd asked Irene.
"I want you and Marty to come to my compound. You'll remain here with me and Charlotte will be set free," Irene explained.
"How do I know that you'll let Charlotte go?" Todd asked.
"You're just going to have to trust me. My plans have nothing to do with Charlotte, so if you don't come and take her place then I'm going to have to kill her," Irene threatened.
"You can't kill her," Marty pleaded over the phone.
"Then will you agree to come and be my special guests?" Irene asked.

"What do you want?" Caleb asked.
"In the future I would like to become a vampire so that I can be with you forever," Charlotte explained.
"I would love that," Caleb stated. "But you must remain brave and strong," Caleb said as he saw Faison approach them from the shadows.
"I've been watching you and Caleb and I have to tell you that you are extremely talented in bed. It is time that I had a taste for myself," Faison whispered as he licked his lips. He unlocked the cell and stepped inside desperate to make Charlotte his.

Michael was very distraught so his parents drew him away to comfort him. "I'm so sorry, Michael. I know you loved her," Carly said as she hugged him and kissed his cheek.
"We're here for you, Son," AJ said as he hugged Michael as well.
Michael's tears wet his father's shirt as he held him. Carly was crying as well when she saw all the torment Michael was going through. She would have done anything to take away Michael's pain.
Anna and Robert did all they could to remove the wreckedge from Starr so they could bury her, but it was hopeless. "Robert, this is all so senseless. Why did this young woman have to die, just like our daughter Robin?" Anna asked sadly.
"I don't know, Anna," Robert said as he took her into his arms and held her close. He kissed the top of her head as she snuggled up in his embrace. They were holding each other when men with guns appeared on the beach.
"Who are you?" Robert demanded.
"We work for Irene Manning," stated the head guard. "We have orders to take you back to her compound."
Anna looked at Robert in panic. A slight smile appeared on Robert's face. This was just the chance they needed. Apparantly, they had crashed on the island where Irene's compound was located. "Don't worry, Anna. I have a plan," Robert whispered in her ear. "Just do as this guy says and no one will get hurt."
Anna, Robert, AJ, Carly, and Michael had no choice but to go with Irene's guards. The guards started leading them through the jungle toward Irene's compound. Robert was just waiting for his chance to put his plan into action.

"Tea, I'll always care about you, but we're through," Victor said gently. "What we had was special, and I will never forget it. You helped me through a very bad time in my life. You saved me in so many ways. A part of me will always love you. But I love Marty. I need her. I hope you'll understand."
"Ohhh I understand. I understand alright!" Tea cried out. "It's always been about Marty. You could never stop obsessing over her from Day One! Well, you know what, I AM THROUGH. I am moving on with my life!"
"What are you going to do?" Victor asked.

Todd and Marty looked at each other, and they knew immediately what they had to do. They had to save Charlotte. "We'll do it," Todd said into the phone. "We'll come to your compound."
"Excellent!" said Irene with exaggerated cheer. "I can't WAIT to have you as my special guests. And by the way, Todd, Charlotte IS your daughter. When I found out about her, I had a DNA test done. She IS my granddaughter. No doubt about it."
"If you touch a hair on her head, I'll-."
"Now Toddy, don't threaten your mother. Just get here quickly. My guards will be waiting at the airport to escort you. Don't try any funny business... or your little angel will pay," said Irene. "She's such a beautiful little thing... and all of my guards have been drooling over her."
"If anyone touches her-," Todd fumed, but before he could say another word, the line had went dead.
"Ohhh Todd. Will she be alright?" Marty said as she went into his arms for comfort.
"She's going to be fine, Marty," Todd said as he kissed the top of her head. "I would do anything to protect her."
"What do you think your mother wants with us?"
"I'm afraid to guess," Todd stated. "Let's get to the airport."
Marty and Todd arrived at the airport and were met by some of Irene's henchmen. They boarded the plane as it got ready for take-off. Tears shown in Marty's eyes as Todd took her hand into his.

Faison walked toward Charlotte with a lustful gaze. "Charlotte, run!" Caleb screamed.
Charlotte cried out in fear as she grabbed Faison's gun. She pointed it at his ugly face and pulled the trigger. Faison fell down on the floor, bleeding heavily and twitching in agony.
"Ohhh nooo!" Charlotte sobbed when she saw all the blood.
There was so much red, and Charlotte wanted someone to clean it up. Gently, Caleb pried the smoking gun from Charlotte's trembling fingers. He pulled her to him and held her in his comforting embrace.
"We gotta get out of here, Charlotte," he told her.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
He didn't answer as he grabbed the keys from Faison's pocket and led Charlotte from the cell. "Quiet," he whispered as he took her hand and lead her down a long corridor.

The guards led Anna, Robert, A.J., Carly and Robert to what looked like an abandoned hospital. They stepped onto the elevator which took them several floors down. When the doors opened Robert took note that their were several guards with guns standing outside several rooms.
Two guards came and escorted Robert and Anna into one of the rooms and locked them inside.
"Irene's got big plans for you two," a guard stated as they injected A.J. with the experimental drugs that they had been working on. "Have fun in there," they said as they shoved Carly and A.J. into a room.
"What did they give you?" Carly whispered.
"I don't know, but it's hot in here," A.J. said as he removed his clothes.

The guards led Michael to another room and opened the door.
"I can't believe it...is it really you?" Michael asked as they opened the door to his new cell and he saw his roommate.

"What are you going to do?" Victor asked.
"I am going to be with John. I am having his baby," Tea announced.
"You're pregnant with Mcbain's baby?" Victor asked.
"Yes...yes I am, but what do you care since you love Marty so much."
"I do love Marty but that doesn't mean that I don't care about you. I don't want to see John hurt you."
"John would never hurt me."
"Never? I've been trying to figure out why you're still under the assumption that our child died when I told Mcbain that she was still alive on the phone and now it makes perfect sense. He lied to you Tea, he didn't want you to find the child you had with me, especially not now that your having his child," Victor explained as he smirked at John.
"John, please tell me that you wouldn't lie to me about my own child," Tea pleaded as she turned towards John.

"After we save Charlotte and we get away from your mother's compound, I want us to get married so that if I die from this brain tumor, Charlotte will have a stable home with you," Marty said.
"Of course I'll marry you when we are all safe from Irene, but you are not going to die. I will not allow it," Todd stated as he kissed Marty's forehead.
Marty fell asleep in Todd's arms as they flew to the private island.
"Please let Charlotte be okay," he whispered as he looked out the window.

"Where do you two think you are going?" The guards asked as they grabbed Charlotte from behind.
"Surrender yourself Caleb or Charlotte will die," the other guard said as he tossed him a pair of handcuffs. Caleb had no other choice...he couldn't let anything happen to his precious Charlotte. He placed the handcuffs around his wrists and followed the guards.
"Irene, we caught these two trying to escape," the guards explained as they brought them into her private chamber.
"Naughty, naughty Charlotte. I tried to warn you that there would be consequences if you tried to escape and now I'll have to punish you both severely. Place Caleb in the deprivation chamber so that he can have a front row seat to Charlotte's torture.
The guards escorted Caleb to the deprivation chamber and locked him inside. Caleb instantly fell to the ground as he felt his vampire powers leaving him. He began to cry as he realized that all of his strength was gone and that he could barely move. He was powerless to save Charlotte.
"Tear her clothes off and show Charlotte what happens to naughty little sluts around here," Irene ordered as she sat down in her chair.
The guards laughed as they tore Charlotte's clothes from her body. They grabbed her and restrained her down on Irene's bed using handcuffs.
They grabbed a whip from Irene's closet and gave her ten lashings across her stomach and breasts until they could see her blood from the wounds they had made.
"Leave her alone," Caleb screamed, but they couldn't hear him.
One of the guards unzipped his pants while Irene began to laugh. Charlotte screamed as he climbed on top of her and forced his erection into her.
They took turns raping her one right after the other. Charlotte's screams faded into silence as she withdrew further and further within herself to escape from the brutal torture.
"That's enough, clean her up. Her parents will be here soon and I need her to be presentable," Irene ordered her guards.

Marty woke up as the plane landed. The guards escorted her and Todd into the compound.
Irene brought Charlotte out and Marty's heart broke as she laid eyes on her daughter.
Charlotte's eyes were empty of all emotion as Irene brought her closer and closer to them.
"What did you do to my daughter?" Marty asked.
"The same thing that my son did to you when you were misbehaving," Irene stated.
