Chapter Twelve

"It is true, I am your mother and I'm so sorry that I gave you away, it was the only way that I could keep you safe," Helena stated as a tear slid down her cheek.
"I forgive you mother, The Jackyll had a happy childhood. You did the right thing when you gave me up, will you do the right thing again and help us escape from your partners in crime?"
"It won't be easy, but yes, I will help you," Helena stated.

"Did you have fun with Marty?" Irene asked as she saw Franco entering her office.
"I did, in fact I'm in love with her mother."
"What is it about that girl that has my boys so obsessed with her?" Irene asked.
"I played a game with Marty, do you want to know what kind of game we played?" Franco asked her.
"Sure, but make sure to give me all the kinky details," Irene stated.
"Okay, but come closer so that I can whisper my dirty little secrets to you," Franco whispered.
Irene stepped closer to him.
He pulled out a knife and pushed it deep inside her heart.
"You...betrayed...me," Irene cried out as she fell on the ground.
"I didn't think it was fair that Victor was the only one to be in the running to be the father of Marty's child so I told her that I would help her and two people escape if she let me and Todd be in the running for fatherhood as well," Franco whispered in her ear as he held her in his arms.
"You bastard," she whispered and than took her last breath.

Victor, Tea and John entered the compound.
"That was easy," John whispered.
"A little too easy," Victor whispered as he looked around. Where were all of his mother's guards?
"Take me to our son," Tea pleaded.
"Not now, but soon. He is safe, but we need to make sure that everyone else is safe as well. I think it best that we split up so that we can save as many people as possible," Victor stated and than took off on his own.
"Bastard," Tea swore out as he left her.
"Don't worry, I'll stay by your side." John stated as he grabbed Tea's hand.
They headed down the hall and opened up the first door that they saw.
"It can't be," John gasped as he saw someone that looked just like him in a room with a young girl who reminded him of Marty.
"Hello John, it's been a long time," Caleb stated.
"You...you died," John whispered.
"I was almost dead when you left me on our camping trip but not quite. A creature of the night found me bleeding out from the wound that you gave me. She drank from by blood and than offered me her wrist. She told me to bite her and that if I died with her blood inside me, I would live forever. I didn't know if she was real or not, I didn't care, I just wanted to live, so I drank and now I am like her, a creature of the night."
"Why didn't you come to me, let me know that you were still alive?" John asked.
"I thought about it, but you deserved to suffer for shooting me."
"That may be true, but what about Mike? What about our parents? They were devastated when I went back without you."
"I know. After I had been granted immortality I went back to the camp just in time to hear your story about the bear that attacked me and killed me. You were the one that lied to them and hurt them. I didn't want to hurt them more with the truth about you or with the burden of what I had become. I wanted you to suffer with the guilt of killing your twin brother," Caleb accused.
"You're a monster," Tea said as she slapped John across the face.
"It was an accident," John said.
"It wasn't an accident, you wanted me to dead because I stole your girlfriend Olivia," Caleb revealed.
"Fine, I wanted you dead, she wasn't yours, but you took her anyways," John said as he lunged at Caleb.
"Stop fighting, we need to find my son, we need to get out of here," Tea screamed out as Charlotte covered her ears.
"I know where your son is and I will take you to him, if you unchain my legs," Caleb said as he looked down at his chains.
Tea looked in the drawer and found the key to his chain and unlocked it.
"Grab my hand," Caleb said as he looked deep into her eyes.
"You can't steal her away from me too," John cried out as he took a swing at his brother. He missed as his brother and Tea vanished into thin ear.
"What happened?" John asked.
"Caleb is very magical," Charlotte said as she smiled.

Helena led Spinelli, Jason and Robin to the room where Luke, Robert, and Anna were.
"What did you do to him?" Anna accused as she saw Helena.
"Nothing recently, but it appears that the strain of our toxic relationship has led him to a mental breakdown," Helena stated as she looked at Luke.
"That woman is an imposter, there can only be one woman as great as Helena Cassadine," Luke said.
"Oh, we don't have time for this," Helena said as she grabbed a sedative out of her purse and injected Luke with it.
"What did you do to the Jackyll's dad?" Spinelli asked.
"Your what?" Anna and Robert said at the same time.
"It was just a sedative darling," Helena whispered.
"It's a long story and Helena's right, we don't have time for any of this," Robin said.
"Jason carry Luke, the rest of you follow me. Anna and Robert I trust that you have guns on you, if you see any of my accomplices or guards, shoot them. Let's escape this hell hole I built," Helena stated as she left the room.

"Mother is dead, let's go," Franco said as he returned to Marty's cell.
His shirt was covered with blood, Irene's blood. "You killed your own mother?" Marty asked.
"Yes it had to be done so that she wouldn't stand in our way. Let's go get your daughter and my brothers and leave this place," he said as he grabbed Marty's hand.
They went through the tunnels until they found Todd's cell.
"Todd, you're okay," Marty said as she ran into his arms.
"He's fine," Franco spat out with jealousy.
"Who are you? Why do you have my face?" Todd asked as he looked at Franco.
"Obviously I'm your triplet. The one with the brains and the looks," Franco retorted.
"What?" Todd asked.
"Explanations later, let's escape," Franco said with annoyance.
The brothers and Marty made their way to Michael, Starr, Carly and A.J.'s room.
"Cole, you're alive," Marty whispered as she embraced him.
"Reunions later, I'm trying to get everyone out alive," Franco said impatiently as he grabbed Marty's hand.
"Don't touch her," Todd said.
"Todd, it's fine, let's just get Charlotte and leave," Marty said.
"Yeah Todd, it's fine, trust me she likes the way that I touch her," Franco stated.
Todd grimaced but kept his mouth shut. Now was not the time to get in a fight with his new brother. They made their way to Charlotte's room and found her with Victor and John."
"Mom you're okay," Charlotte said as she hugged her.
"You're hugging me," Marty said as tears came to her eyes. It was the first time that Charlotte had ever hugged her.
"I used to be afraid to touch, it was just too much red, but Caleb fixed that, he took all the red away," Charlotte said as she smiled.
"Let's go. This has been an easy escape, let's not press our luck," Franco said as they turned to leave and found Liesel standing in the doorway.
"Franco, what are you doing with these prisoners?" Liesel asked.
"Escaping, come with me Liesel, you're my very best friend and I would hate to leave you behind."
"But, I thought that we liked doing bad things," Liesel said.
"That's true, but Marty helped me to see the light. Come with me, and we can learn to be good together," Franco pleaded.
"Fine, I would do anything for you even be good," Liesel said as she wrinkled her nose in disgust.
They made their way out of the compound and Liesel pulled something from her pocket and threw it back at the building when they were several feet away. The compound blew up."
"I thought you would be good," Franck chided her.
"It was my very last bad act. Tomorrow I'll be good." Liesel promised.
