Hi. I don't have any poignant or tragic excuse for not updating this story in... almost a year. To be perfectly transparent with you, this story just wasn't a priority for me for the past year. I've just had other shit to deal with. I tried to chip away at the latest chapter every now and again but I just wasn't feeling it. And as I read back these chapters for inspiration I realized that they're super rough around the edges. I'm still in love with the concept and plot and characters (Although I am not a fan of how I used each of them in the actual story), but I just really don't like how I executed the writing. I got a lot of super helpful comments (Not being sarcastic, I am genuinely grateful for any and all criticism), particularly about the pacing. I am considering re-writing the whole thing, but I am afraid that I'll just get caught up with my own shit again. I've not made up my mind yet, but I just figured you deserved an update of some kind. So, yeah.
