Discord's P.O.V.

At this point in time I feel it is my turn to tell the story. I did not get that much of a part the last time.

So there I was, sitting in my jail cell when a guard comes over to tell me that none other than princess Luna herself comes and visits me. She hates it when I call her that but I do it just to spite her.

Anyway, I was surprised she was even visiting. I thought that like her sister she hated me. She sat on the opposite side of the glass with a look of concern on her face. We were now at the glass tables with the phones to speak into. (idk what the room is called but I have seen it in enough jail movies to know what it looks like. Sorry I suck at describing it)

"Not to sound rude princess, but why are you here?" I asked her as I spoke into the receiver.

"To cut to the chase, I am here because I believe you are innocent." She said sternly with all concern gone from her face. She just looked annoyed now.

"How would you know?" I spat at her, venom lacing my voice with all traces of humor gone. I then scratched the side of my face with my free hand as I thought about it. "Then again, they never did find a body did they?" I pondered out loud as she looked like she wanted to murder me as much as her sister did.

"Long story short, I also came to give you this pie." (to try and better explain what this is is that there is a slot where visitors can give prisoners gifts as long as they get passed security) She pushed the pie through the slot and I almost immediately began eating it. I chose to eat it then and there because the guards would have made me share if I brought it back to my cell.

"WAIT!" She yelled in her out door voice. Seriously she needs to learn to use her indoor voice. I can't take her anywhere. She blushed and looked down after realizing what a fuss she had made. "I mean wait..because you need to eat it slowly so you can...savor...it..." She droned out these words for a while until it finally clicked into place. She snuck a nail file or something else that would help me escape this wretched prison. I began eating it slowly and I found I did enjoy the pie better that way until I found a folded up piece of paper in a bite.

Luna saw that I now had what she wanted me to find. Before leaving she added..."I hope you found the pie enjoyable...right?" She winked at me in a not so subtle way.

"I did. But I can't talk...eating." I said through a mouth full of pie. It was apple and pear pie.

"Hope you enjoyed the pie Discord." She winked. "Just watch out for any white papers." She then put back the receiver and walked out of the jail house.

I put back my receiver and was quickly escorted back to my cell. I had my own little cell in this maximum security prison. The only window had bars over it but at least I had my own toilet. There were several guards constantly guarding my floor and would trade off every few hours or so.

I decided to take the paper out of my mouth before it got too wet with my saliva. I stared at it in annoyance. It was a blank piece of paper. I unfolded it. Still blank. I couldn't figure out how to read it. I tried putting it into the sunlight to see if I could read it at all. Turns out I can. The ink was only visible in the sunlight. But this was Luna who gave me this...why the sunlight if she was named after the moon?

Shrugging this off I began to read this lengthy letter from her about why she thought I was innocent. It ended with something about reading it under the light of the moon. I decided...why not?

Later that night...

Holding up the same letter to the moon light I read something rather interesting...an escape plan but it would take a while to gather everything I needed to pull this off. (yeah...he still escapes from prison but I didn't want to write all that out because I am lazy and it's not relevant to the plot)

1 month later...

I finally had everything I needed to escape. Basically the plan was this...

1. Build a dummy to look like you're in bed. I made mine out of soap and painted toilet paper. I named him soapy.

2. Obtain something to dig out the vent. That was easier said than done. Obtaining something not made of plastic took some time.

3. Wait for the guards to switch before you dig. It they hear you digging they will get suspicious and check in on you. That was the main reason it took me a month. They change quickly here.

As soon as I was inside the vents I remembered that the paper had a small diagram that I somehow memorized on how to get out of here. Ok...I got lost maybe once or twice. By once or twice I mean maybe a couple of hundred times. So let me, oh let me redeem, oh redeem, oh myself tonight
'Cause I just need one more shot at second chances.

Several escape attempts later...

it was night time but I was finally free from prison ; but I needed to start running before they caught me. Luckily, Luna helped out with that part. Leaving me a bicycle and a note on a nearby fence...The note only said that any motorized vehicle would be too loud. I didn't mind as long as I wasn't running on foot. It also said that this was as far as she could get involved. I would have to seek out someone named Fluttershy...

I knew all about Twilight Sparkle but I barely knew her friends names. I was sure that Fluttershy was one of those friends. After stealing clothes out of a thrift store dumpster..I was ready to find this person. None of the clothes matched and it was all out of style but I could care less about that. My stomach grumbled in anger at having been denied breakfast. By this point it was already morning. It wouldn't take long for my face to be out on the news. I dug around in the same dumpster and found a big hat and a scarf to help cover my face. I sat on the street next to a veterinary clinic and used an empty cup I found to beg for change.

Just as I was beginning to count what little change I had received...they walked into my life. Four women who had been running with a lot of dogs had arrived at this shelter and were talking amongst themselves.

"As soon as we open up the clinic we can drop off the dogs and get going." Said the first woman who had rainbow colored hair and was showing her mid-riff. She was smirking at her other friends. She was well toned and muscular.

"Yeah. Rainbow Dash here is going to help me clean the pigs and milk the cows. Five bucks says she can't do it without complaining about it." Said the obvious farm girl who was looking at Rainbow Dash with a smirk of her own. You could tell by her accent. (I suck at writing accents)

The third one was breathing heavily as if she had just ran a marathon. "I don't understand how you guys can run like this every morning. It is rather exhausting darlings." She looked more like she was going to the mall than jogging. She too had an accent.

"Now Rarity, if you can't handle the exercise you don't have to run with us." Said the fourth one who had her light pink hair in a high pony tail. Her jogging outfit was a bit more modest than her friends. She wasn't showing off too much skin. It was her who noticed me first.

She cautiously approached me while still holding the leashes of her dogs. "Are you alright sir?" She asked me while looking at me with pity.

"I don't need your pity!" I snapped at her.

"Come on Fluttershy." Said the farm girl as she put a hand on her shoulder and led her away from me. "He ain't worth your kindness." She began leading her away when something clicked.

"Wait!" I called out as I stood up...

After some explaining and almost getting pepper sprayed we were all aquatinted with one another. Little did we know this would lead us down a dangerous road. A road to love and friendship.

Rarity confirmed with Luna about the plan. She also helped me with disguising myself. Dying my once black hair completely white along with my eyebrows and my beard as well I looked like Starswirl the bearded only more handsome. She also let me have a few suits and other men's clothes that didn't sell well the last few fashion seasons. Applejack provided me with fresh fruit. I was also instructed to help three of those women out. Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy.

I had to help Fluttershy with her dogs in their morning jogs. As soon as I was done with that help Applejack on the farm. Finally, I had to help out Rarity in her shop...In return they would have their other friends...Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash work to help me search for where Sombra was...this was going to take a while but it would be worth it.

I was a bit nervous about this because Twilight Sparkle was close with Celestia. I was afraid that she would tell her of my whereabouts and get me sent back to jail. In the meantime I had to live with Fluttershy. Not that I minded it one bit. She was quite an attractive woman I wouldn't mind knowing.

And that kids is the story of how I met your mother.
