As we continued, we came by a seemingly unfordable river. Wes wanted to punt Carmen over the river, but I refused.
Out of nowhere, the Nayad of the river appeared. She only knew Elvish so I did most of the talking. She had a very gravelly voice.
She tried to flirt with me, but at the time, I was a naïve and dumb freshling, not taking any notice at it.
Anyways... I convinced her to help us ford the river, and she did, while saying:" Come again soon, honey~"
Then, Wes would do something that almost got me killed. He tried to 'poison' the river with dyed water. He told the Nayad it was poison, but failed. The then started attacking us, as she brought wild animals out from the woods. To make things worse, she charmed Owen, and he did some massive damage to me. I laid unconscious the rest of the battle, but apparently they killed the Nayad. I don't like killing, only if it is necessary, but for some reason, it made me happy.
Perhaps it was because I felt the rush of adrenaline through me, or maybe... just maybe...
It was because my friends protected me, even at the potential cost of their lives. I was slightly unhappy though when I learned Wes tried to slip out of the fight, but nonetheless, I enjoyed it.
We eventually came across some centaurs, who warned us to not approach the Boar in its cave, and we learned of its wherabouts.
This would shortly lead to disaster, costing the lives of the party.
