They were four other clans, that hid in the shadow of Shadowclan, Thunderclan, Windclan, and Riverclan. The war between Lionclan, Tigerclan, Leopardclan, and Cheetahclan had separated them.
The three main clans were all bragging about how loud their 'roars' could be. Cheetahclan was looked down upon because their lack of roaring. This ended in the clans teaming up against Cheetahclan to kick them out of the territory.
Cheetahclan was forced to leave, separating from each other in their struggle to survive.
A small group of Cheetahclan members decided they would stay around the other clans, where the territory was slightly familiar. They learned how to stay out of the Clans and still be able to know what's going on within the clans by listening in on Gatherings.
They have seen Tigerclaw's rise, Crowfeather and Leafpool's affair, Ashfur's revenge, the battle against the Dark Forest, and the descendants of Cheetahclan has also moved to the lake with the four main clans, with clans of their own:

Glassclan
Dawnclan
In their world, their is no warrior code, or medicine cat code. It may sound chaotic without those codes but they have still remained strong and standing.
