Because of his minion brigade status, Buckley Buchanan gained some infamy when he shot Thomas Lord in 1896. As a result, he confessed to the police that Thomas pretty much abused him along with Wainwright Montgomery Burns. He had a childhood friend and later wife named Dorothy Pardee, from the hinterland of South Carolina. Both were pretty good mates generally, but would bicker at times.
Buckley and Dorothy had four children, with the oldest child being the only boy of them all, born in February 1883. His name was Grover Buckley Buchanan. Grover's much younger siblings were the Buchanan triplets Maude, Nelly and Georgette, who were all born in November 1897.
The Buchanan triplets eventually got married off to men who were Asian miners in a Californian mineral mine. It was a lucky later life for Dorothy and Buck, who died in 1945 and 1939 respectively.
