Grover was interested in making family friendly musical comedy plays, and at least he tried to do it but failed miserably.
He however, was to be married, this time to Texas-based musical comedy play moneymaker Nina Frazetta Mankiewicz, the much older sister to heart condition child Alice, in 1903.
As the great grandson of Grizzly, Grover was a bit of a jerk like him. But harassing people wasn't good for his life either, so he even confessed to Nina about it. He and Nina had at least six long term surviving children. Their eldest children were fraternal twins Donald and Jeannie Buchanan, born in February 1904. Jonathan 'Jockey' Buchanan was the third child, born in March 1906. Patrick 'Pike' was the fourth, born in August 1908. Mabel was the fifth, born in May 1911. As the Buchanan twins moved out, Pike, Mabel and Jockey were the only children staying until Asaph was born in October 31st 1924.
He saw all his long term children surviving adulthood and one of them becoming the boss of his former boss's oil fortune, but was betrayed spectacularly by the oil boss Asaph himself. Nonetheless, he died happily at home in 1960.
