Teddy frowned as he examined his tea leaves.
"Are you sure you can divine the future through these?" he asked his girlfriend Bethany glared at him.
"Of course I can!" she snapped, her brown eyes flashing with annoyance. "Reading the leaves is how I scored the highest marks in our year at divination."
"Yeah, but…" Teddy paused for a moment. Aunt Hermione was incredibly dismissive of divination and even Uncle Harry frowned whenever he mentioned Professor Trelawney. "Is...Professor Trelawney…"
"A cross. Misfortune and trials are coming your way," Bethany said, her long brown hair falling over her head. "An alligator. Irritability. But at what I wonder?"
Probably this little divination session, Teddy thought to himself, but he stayed quiet.
"An upside-down anchor," she continued. "Instability. And an ape. A hidden enemy of some kind. Perhaps the cause of your coming trials?"
Teddy resisted the urge to sigh. He couldn't see Vichy getting so caught up in his tea leaves.
"And finally...a cat. Lies and deception," she finished, before shaking her head. "Dear me, not a happy cup at all."
"Well, at least I have my beautiful girlfriend to help see me through them," he said with a smile and she kissed him.
"You always say the sweetest things," she said with a smile and Teddy leaned back in his chair.
