Maddox and the entity continued to talk till morning. The entity saw something behind Maddox. Maddox noticed this but didn't care to pay attention. "Mi gniog ot llik lla fo ruoy sdneirf." (I'm going to kill all of your friends.) The entity got a very devious smile. "Eht lrig lliw eb eht tsom elbayojne." (The girl will be the most enjoyable.)

Chapter 20: One Mean Tremor
The six of them walked through the gate and spotted the beacon. Soon they would be home free. However, as they approached the beacon a giant Thresher emerged out of the ground swallowing it and disappeared back under the ground.
"No! You need to kill that thing if you want any chance to get back to Sanctuary." Angel exasperated. The Thresher emerged out of the ground and began to generate a shield. To make things worse more Loaders came out and started firing at both the Thresher and the Vault Hunters.
"Can we just let the Loaders handle this?" Axton complained.
"I'm with you on that. We should still defend against the loaders that attack us." Maya agreed.
The six of them did exactly that. They shot loaders that would attack them, while the other loaders would attack the Thresher. There was one problem. The loaders were getting their butts kicked. They weren't doing anything against the Thresher. "Looks like we need to fight anyway." Gaige complained.
The six of them ran out and began firing on the thresher depleting its shield quite quickly. As they continued to fire they realized that its hide was much thicker than they thought. The Thresher began to run its tentacle along the ground knocking over and tripping everyone. All of their shields became depleted and they needed to run back to cover to recharge their shields. Every now and then they would pop out and hit the thresher to make sure its shields didn't recharge. However, it went underground and appeared once again in front of them. Its shield instantly recharged.
"Great so now we have no cover and it has a shield again?" Sal complained.
They all ran for different cover, dodging the tentacles that were trying to hit them. The Thresher continued to pop out a take out its shields while it attacked them and went underground to flank them. They did this until it finally died. The Thresher puked out the beacon as it went back under the ground.
"Good. Now you just need to get to Overlook." Angel spoke once again. The team started heading through a large cave coming out to a large valley. There was a Catch-A-Ride station nearby so they all bundled in a technical as they rode to Overlook.
Upon their arrival they put the beacon down and Angel began working on the delivery system. Suddenly, Handsome Jack came on the line. "Angel? What are you doing?"
"Watch out he's sending loaders after you!" Angel warned. "You need to protect that beacon!"
"Great… more fighting." Maya said.
They all spread into key positions to defend the beacon. The following battle was going to be a tough one and they knew it. They continued to fight different types of loaders from Gun Loaders to Hot Loaders to Super Awesome Loaders. They had quite a few close calls with EXP Loaders coming up on the beacon.
Finally Loader after Loader, shot after shot everything began to calm down. Until Jack played one last card. He sent down two Constructor bots with a large escort of Loaders. Gaige lifted her gun to start firing and it simply clicked. She released the mag and went to grab another but her hands met empty pockets. She was out of ammo, Death Trap was just now defeated. There was nothing more she could do. Everyone else was facing similar problems. Maya was exhausted from using her abilities over and over again, Sal started to lose grip on his guns, Krieg had… fallen asleep, Axton's turrets were still recharging, Zero's Deception was still fine but he was just tired and was leaning on his sword while firing a pistol. It seemed that they wouldn't make it.
Gaige's heart sunk when the Constructors continued to create more loaders and more turrets. She slid down to a sitting position giving up. "It's over she said under her breath. He won." A Loader walked up next to and pointed his gun at her head.
She didn't move, much less flinch. She closed her eyes and waited for her ends to meet. "Die." The Loader spoak. She heard the gunshot but felt nothing.
She opened her eyes and looked to where the loader was standing. It wasn't moving at all. The bullet that was supposed to hit and kill her was hanging in midair. It wasn't moving at all. She stood up and looked around at the battle field. Everything else was at a complete stand still. Bullets coming from every direction were frozen in midair, her fellow Vault Hunters were all frozen as well. Was this what it was like in your last moments? For everything to freeze and stop moving. For time to just not progress at all. She looked over the cliff. Stalkers and Threshers down there were… moving? Yes indeed they were! But what about the battlefield? She noticed a figure leaning against the wall. He was out of place and it seemed like he didn't belong there at all. She began to walk up to it. He was purley red, just a figure of energy.
"Os uoy era eht eno yeht llac Gaige." It spoke.
"I'm sorry?" Gaige asked to try to clarify.
"Hcus a rewol gnieb. Uoy tonnac dnatsrednu em ta lla." It paused and spoke in English. "So.. you are the one they call Gaige."
"Y-yes, d-did you do this?" Gaige pointed out to the surrounding area.
"Your assumption is correct."
"Who are you?"
"Irrelevant."
"Then why are you here."
"You will see soon enough why I have revealed myself to you. Though you technically have already met me. You cannot die here, Maddox will be in great need of you soon enough." Gaige looked around and all of the bullets, all of the loaders, both of the constructor bots began to turn to dust. Time seemed to resume as everyone else began to move looks of confusion on their faces wondering why the enemies were turning to dust. Gaige looked back to see where the figure was, but it was gone.
"The fast travel station arrived. Use it now before Jack sends more reinforcements." They all ran to the station and began traveling to Sanctuary. Gaige practically leaped into Maddox's arms. The battle was over and now they all could get some rest.
Alright, they are back in Sanctuary so now for a long over due Inventory Update! NOTE: If an item did not change it will not be listed
