After the day we were in the garden all of us decided to go to our rooms to continue studying where we were lacking, for me it was the Ice type Pokemon as they weren't a huge area of study for me before I evolved my Glaceon.
In the morning I woke up to my alarm, set early to avoid the busy cafeteria for Breakfast time so I got dressed into my uniform and left Hilbert a note on his hat saying I'm off to go and to meet me in the Cafeteria or Homeroom, depending on when he is awake.
I walked into an empty Cafeteria for once and filled a plate up which contained a healthy Kalos breakfast which included fresh Oran Berries and Sitrus Berries, eating it made me feel like I was at home the way it was paired with the freshly made porridge. Being here all alone is giving me time to reflect on my skills as a trainer, but it went to thoughts of my birth father, he died when I was younger and he left his Pokemon to me, these Pokemon are barely used by me for instance my Gengar was my father's and he usually spends time in the PC and at the Pokemon Center but if I need any of the Pokemon he left me I take then out straight away, but thinking about him does make me tear up and luckily I am all alone so I do begin crying which was good to have a cry alone.
Or well it would have been if May didn't just walk in and see me crying "Nick what's wrong?" She asked as she ran to me and put her arm around me "It's nothing, just thinking of my father" I said drying my tears as I moved her arm off of me so I could turn to face her and I explained everything I was just thinking about to her.
"Oh my Nick, this must me hard for you, do you have anything else to remind you of him other than his Pokemon?" May asked as I stood up "I'll show you" I said as the cafeteria began to fill up, she followed me to the gym where I walked to some of the older banners then further on to a best in class board "That, whenever we come in here I see that, my fathers name next to best in class" I said turning around dropping a Pokeball on accident which sending out my Jolteon who immediately saw I was upset so he ran on to my shoulder "Hey little buddy, sorry for worrying you" I said returning him and composing myself.
"I'm gonna go to homeroom now May" I said as I left the gym, May staying there to take in what I told her. Now that there is students filling the halls, I went straight to the classroom and sat down near the front, where Hilbert was already sat "Thinking about him?" he asked when I sat down with him "Yeah, May helped calm me down" I said going into my bag to put my hat on and got a book out to take down notes, Hilbert knew best to not try talk to me when I felt like this.
When it came time for lunch, I left the group to go to the gym to clear my head, I got changed into my gym clothes and went to a treadmill as I always found that running helped me keep my mind clear. I kept running and running as I kept upping the speed not wanting to slow and refusing to stop.
Seconds turned to minutes and all of a sudden I realize I have been running for 30 minutes and that I should probably stop and get some food, and my phone was probably exploding with messages so reluctantly I turned off my machine and went to the cafeteria after picking up a bottle of water and my uniform and I head to the others as I checked my phone, 5 missed calls from Hilda, before I knew it I was already calling her "WHY WEREN'T YOU ANSWERING YOUR PHONE!" Hilda screamed down the phone, all I said was "Father" and she paused momentarily "Oh, well, we are in the cafeteria at the usual table" Hilda said before immediately as she probably realized how I'm feeling right now.
I walked into the cafeteria and grabbed something to eat then sat down with the others, it was highly evident I had just finished running for what looked like miles and went to eat some food, I was sat next to Hilbert and Hilda as I was placing my regular uniform into my bag properly so iy doesn't get all wrinkled.
"How you feeling Nick?" everyone at the table minus Leaf and Red asked as they were out of the loop when it came to my father "Better" I said half lying as I still had that urge to run away "Just give me a minute, need to do something" I said as I finished a sandwich I picked up and went to the communal PC where I could change something about my team Ninetales was deposited into my PC box as I chose a new Pokemon to take its place.
I went back to the table and sat where I was before and I leaned my head on Hilda's shoulder out of fatigue and boredom "Wow we didn't know what happened to your father" Leaf said sadly as Red nodded sadly too "It's alright" I said brushing it off and sitting back up.
The bell rang shortly afterwards which let us go on our own ways to our next elective classes, for me, it was fire type with May and Serena, and of course, I sat with the two of them but I was fairly distant when they started speaking, I was just focussing on my work when suddenly some ninja chick who I don't know appeared at the front of the class who looked familiar to me but I don't know where from. "Nick, follow me please" she spoke as she left the room and I followed shrugging at my classmates.
The girl who introduced herself as Janinie ended up leading me to the Battle Club's room the battle dome where the leader of the Battle Club was waiting for me, and not to my surprise, Hilbert was there with him. "Perfect you're both here now, I have a proposition for the two of you"

Hilbert and I left the battle dome an hour later just in time for homeroom, well I say just in time as Professor Oak had just called our names in the register, Oak let us off this time as he knew what happened at the battle dome.
Homeroom had nothing eventful happen today so after class I decided to walk around and as I was, I let my Ralts out for some fresh air, I didn't let him out much to begin with but now I'm letting him out, also as I'm out I took out a pokemon that none of my friends had seen, it was called Grookey, a grass type pokemon from the Galar reigon, I decided to bring him here as my sister had gave it to me when she got back from Galar on holiday.
Galar is a beautiful region from what I know, heard it is a bit rainy though but I don't mind, I want to go there and conquer it's League one day as there are rumours that the champion is undefeated, even as his time as just a little trainer, I decided to walk on over to the garden where I knew o could relax, it was a long long day for me mentally and I just needed somewhere out of the way.
After a while of just sitting down in the garden watching Ralts and Grookey play with each other I returned them to their pokeballs and checked the time on my phone, it was around 7pm now and I am still hungry, well when you don't have enough lunch and breakfast that is what happens to you, so I went to the cafeteria knowing that I wouldn't run into Hilbert, Hilda or the others, it was always fairly quiet now as most people ate as soon as class was over or around 8pm, my group ate at around half 8.
As I entered the cafeteria I immediately got something substantially bigger than my breakfast and lunch combined so I won't be running low later and put my music on and ate in peace.
Well I wish it was in peace as when I was around half way through my meal a guy called Blue Oak came up and sat at my table. "Heard you are a hot shot on the battlefield, I just think you and that other guy were lucky" he said, I just ignored him and kept eating but then he pulled out my headphones visibly pissed off "Prove you aren't a weakling, I challenge you to a Pokémon battle, starter Pokémon only, that's if you are lucky enough to own one as I know you didn't get one from homeroom".
I sighed in defeat and I held up my pokeball holding Grookey "Let's go to the gym then" I said finishing my food and the. we left for the gym, we went straight to a battle station and we sent out our Pokémon "Beat 'em Squirtle" Blue announced "Go get 'em Grookey" I said as Blue looked confused at my grass monkey Pokémon, so I decided to be nice and tell him what it was "The grass starter Pokémon from the Galar region" I said then looked seriously at Blue "Grookey use Branch Poke!" I said as Grookey ran towards Squirtle and attacked it with his branch "Squirtle defend with withdraw!" Blue countered so Squirtle put its head and limbs in its shell, perfect "Grookey throw the shell and use bullet seed!" I commanded and it all went according to plan, the shell went up, Squirtle came out and before Blue could react, a direct hit of bullet seeds went straight at Squirtle knocking them out.
All I done at the end was give Grookey a poffin for his job well done and left to go back to my dorm.
I got back to my dorm and Hilbert was there just getting ready to leave for dinner, I told him that I was gonna hit they hay early and I'll see him in the morning.
