A/N: I do not own the Avengers or PJO

Chapter 6

"What is the meaning of this?" Fury asked in a cold voice. "Never mind, don't answer that. Coulson, have them sent to a cell."

"Sir, if I may, why don't we talk to them first." Coulson suggested, "Why would Thor save Earth, just to attack it a couple months later?"

"The Son of Coul is right," Thor boomed, "I mean no harm."

"It's not you I'm worried about, at the moment anyway. It's him." Fury pointed to Loki, who was sitting next to Thor. "He's already attacked Earth once, he might just do it again."

Loki chuckled at the accusation and leaned back in his chair, giving off an air of indifference, "Please," he scoffed, "Believe me when I say this this. If I wanted to attack Midgard again, I wouldn't have come with my idiot of a brother." Loki said, his voice smooth.

Fury gritted his teeth as he turned to a miffed Thor, "You better have a good reason for bringing him back here."

Thor cleared his throat, "I am sorry, but I do not."

Coulson, who had been standing off to the side, spoke up, "What do you mean you don't?"

"Yes," Fury mocked, "Why don't you?"

"We had no idea we were coming to Midgard. My mother told me to wait for her at the bifrost, then showed up with Loki and ordered Heimdall to send us here. I do not know her reasons."

Fury seemed to think things over before turning to Loki, "Fine, you may stay." He said, "But you must be fitted with a tracking device and you must remain at your brother's side at all times. Fury leaned in close to Loki, "And I'll promise you this, you put one hair out of line, and I'll have you killed faster than you could blink."

Loki fought down the panic that was threatening to rise and nodded.

"Do not fear. That will never happen." Thor said cheerfully.

Whether he was speaking to Fury or Loki, they did not know.

Fury turned his head slightly to the side and addressed Coulson, "How are we on that tracking device?"

"It's on its way sir."

Fury nodded, "Good, because after this, we have a meeting with the Avengers."

Percy was walking down the street when he was attacked, and he didn't mean attacked like Steve Rodgers attacked, he meant full on monster attack.

Luckily his reflexes allowed him to duck and roll out of the way. Though it was his skill that allowed him to take out his pen during the roll.

Percy uncapped Riptide and advanced on the Empousa and swung riptide in time to fend off her claws.

"Perssuess Jacksson," she hissed, "You will die by my handss."

"I don't think so," Percy swung his sword toward her in hopes of killing her, sadly he missed. "So, what's your name, I mean you know mine and I can't just call you Empousa."

The Empousa hissed violently and sprung forward. Percy parried her attacks and quickly sent her on the defense.

"I think I'll call you Emy." Percy leapt forward and knocked Emy off her feet causing her to make a dull thud when her leg hit the ground.

Emy hissed and bared her fangs, "I am not the last, our master will send more after you, and your death is only a matter of time."

Percy smirked and raised Riptide above his head, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I sent Kronos back to Tartarus."

Emy let out a hissing laugh, "Oh no, not him. We have a new master."

Percy lowered his sword in shock and was thrown back by a burst of fire as Emy disappeared.

New master? Oh gods.

"Do you know why Fury called this meeting? I thought he was going to give us a week to make our decision." Natasha questioned.

"Nat, stop questioning everyone as soon as they enter the hovercraft."

Natasha glared at Clint, but stopped interrogating Tony as he went to sit down in his seat.

Tony turned to Bruce "She did that to you to?"

Bruce nodded, "And Clint. And Steve."

Tony nodded and turned to Natasha, "No, I do not know, hope that answers you question."

Natasha huffed and glared at Tony, who cleared his throat and looked away.

Less than a minute went by before Fury strode into the room. He stopped in front of the table and held up his hand to fend off the oncoming questions.

"Before you say anything, we have guests." Fury nodded a guard who nodded back and left.

"Guests?" Bruce inquired.

Fury said nothing but nodded his head.

Not a second later the guard came back with two people in tow.

The Avengers stood.

"Thor!" Tony shouted happily, "What are you doing here?" It was then that Tony (and the rest of the Avengers) noticed Loki.

"Wh-what are you doing here?" Tony turned his head toward Fury, "He's supposed to be in jail."

Tony turned his head back toward Loki, "You're supposed to be in jail."

"Why, what in the Nine Worlds would make you say that?" Loki said sarcastically.

"There is no need to be frightened Man of Iron," Thor said, "He poses no threat."

"I am not frightened! And what do you mean 'He poses no threat'?"

"I mean that Loki will not harm you or -"

Tony waved his hand in the air on front of him, "I know what you mean." He said impatiently.

Thor's face twisted in confusion, "Then why would you ask?"

Before Tony could blow up, Steve intervened, "I think he means what is Loki doing back on Earth?"

Thor's face light up and turned to Tony, "Why didn't you just say so! Our mother sent us."

The Avengers stared at Thor.

"Um, Thor?"

"Yes, Bruce"

"That doesn't clear anything up."

"Oh."

"Enough of this!" Natasha stalked towards Fury, "What is that monster doing here?"

"Now, now Darling, I don't think you mean that do you?" Loki drawled from his place next to Thor.

The only thing keeping Natasha from attacking Loki was the hand Clint had placed on her arm.

"Sit down." Fury ordered, "We have a lot to talk about and you might as well get comfy."
