Edit A/N IMPORTANT!:

So, heh, I did a little research and I made a mistake regrading my edit on Chapter 1. This fanifc will take place between Issue #32 and Issue #33 instead and right before the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog: Bad Guys comics. This will also be an AU to the IDW comics, which will have some classic characters (but in modern forms) like Fang, Bark, Bean, etc. So yeah, this fanfic would change A LOT, hopefully for the better.

After the long talk with Lincoln and Sonic, the white haired boy was surprised by all of this. I mean, an alien blue talking hedgehog talking about defeating an evil scientist from taking over his world is a thing you would only hear from comics, shows, or movies. He then started to break it down.

"Okay, let me put this together..." Lincoln said. "You are have animal like friends from another dimension and you all have an enemy named, Eggman, that uses a portal device to leave you stranded here?" He asked.

"Yep, but that's only a bit of what's going on my dimension, but the rest gonna have to wait." Sonic replied. "Egghead's new toy was super effective. For now, I mean. Sorry, but I never did catch your name."

"I'm Lincoln Loud, nice to bump into you, Sonic." Lincoln joked, reaching his hand towards Sonic.

"Sup, Lincoln. Yeah...sorry about that." The blue blur replied, with the both of them shaking hands.

"Hold on, you mention you have super speed?" Lincoln asked.

"They don't call me the fastest thing alive for a reason!" Sonic responded, running around the boy at high speeds. Lincoln was very shocked at this. The hedgehog stopped right in front of a very impressed Lincoln.

"Woah, that's awesome!" Lincoln replied. "How did you have these powers, from a chemical truck, a radioactive spider, please don't tell me it's the spider's one."

"Nope, no spiders were involved, guess I was just born with it." The hedgehog shrugged.

"Man, this is like a comic or movie in real life!" Lincoln said. "Anyway, you said you need to-" Before he can continue, he saw some kids walking towards them, which made Lincoln panic. He grabbed Sonic by the arm and ran behind a tree, luckily for them, the kids didn't notice them.

"Hey, the heck was that about?" Sonic asked.

"S-Sorry, but I think it's best if you didn't get caught by anyone else, word travels fast in Royal Woods." Lincoln mentioned.

"Well, you aren't wrong. If that's the case, then I better get back home soon, the others must be losing their minds right now..."

"Well, if there's anyone to help, it's definitely Lisa. She makes crazy things all the time." Lincoln said to the hedgehog. "Although, she's gonna freak out seeing a talking hedgehog. Especially Lana." He added, knowing that his tomboy sister will go crazy seeing Sonic.

"Kid, I've had my fair share of crazy people all the time, it's not new to me anymore." Sonic said. "By the way, how many siblings do you have?"

"This may sound crazy, but I have ten sisters." Lincoln replied. Sonic's jaw was wide open at this.

"Woah, woah, woah, hold the phone, you have ten sisters?!" Sonic yelled. Lincoln nodded. "Geez, how the heck do you put up with that? I can't even deal with one girl back at home..."

"Well, when you live in a family big as mine, you'll learn to adapt." Lincoln replied with a soft smile. "But don't worry. They're really nice, when you get used to them. Hopefully none of them will call the police on you."

"Well, so much for this being a walk in a park." Sonic replied. "But, I hope you're right, dude. I already have it hard enough back at home."

"Well, none of them are gonna be home for a while, so I guess you can have a little break." Lincoln responded.

"Okay, then. So...where's your house?" Sonic asked.

"1216 Franklin Avenue. Just a few miles up." Lincoln replied, pointing in front of him.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's roll!" Sonic said, grabbing Lincoln by the hand, running at super high speeds. All of while he was running, Lincoln was screaming out loud, hanging on to Sonic's hand. They soon arrived at the Loud House in a matter of seconds.

"Hmm. 1216 Franklin Avenue. Is this the place you're talking about?" Sonic asked, but when he turned around he saw Lincoln fall to his knees and then throw up.

"Oh...sorry about that, Linc..." Sonic apologized, when Lincoln was done.

"I-it's okay. Just...give me a warning next time, okay?" Lincoln replied, wiping his mouth.

"Heh, got ya pal." Sonic said, as he pulled Lincoln up to his feet. "Hey, nice place you got here." He added, then a few roof tiles fell off, landing on the ground.

"Heh, well, it may not be perfect to others, but we still care about our home " Lincoln stated. One time a tornado was passing by Royal Woods, with Lincoln and his siblings excited to get their house blown away to get a new one, but after a few stories, they see that their house is actually great. It might be old, creaky and full of leaks, but it's theirs and they love it that way.

"Welp, better than nothing, I guess. I have a feeling things will be too chaotic." Sonic jokes.

"That's The Loud House for you, bud!" Lincoln smiled, laying his hand on Sonic's shoulder. Things will be different, for the both of them.

Back at Mobius, in Angel Island...

In the tropical forest, Knuckles was there protecting the Master Emerald (as usual...). After getting it back from Metal Overlord and surviving the Metal Virus, he now has peace protecting the Master Emerald. Well, unfortunately, that's not gonna last very long. A plane was slowly landing on the island, which Knuckles saw it was The Tornado.

This caused Knuckles to get up on hit feet, trying to see who it was. After all, you can't be to careful with people these days. Luckily for him, it was just Tails. The fox landed the plane and hopped off to talk to Knuckles.

"Woah, Tails? What's going on with you?" Knuckles asked.

"Something bad happened with Sonic!" Tails replied, which made Knuckles sighed. Like this was the first time something bad has happened to the hedgehog before.

"Don't worry. He's gonna be back any minute now." He said. A few seconds went by. "Annny minute now...dang, never works. Have any idea where was he last time you saw him?"

"He was at Green Hill when I last talked with him and-"

"That's kinda predictable for him." Knuckles jokes.

"That's not the point, Eggman was there with him from my footage and used the Warp Topaz to send him who knows where!" Tails explained.

"WHAT, HE'S GONE AGAIN!?" Knuckles yelled. "Ugggh, we literally just had him back!"

"I know, we need to get the resistance involved in this and we need you." The fox explained.

"Look, I want to bring back Sonic too, but who's gonna protect the Master Emerald? I can't just leave it after what had happened, y'know?"

"Fair point, hmm..." Tails was thinking of a possible solution, then he got it. "I know, give me a sec!" He then pressed a button on the device he brought with him. A few seconds later, a familiar looking robot came flying in. It was humanoid, mostly black, has grey hands and robot looking shoes that have black soles and yellow lines around them. It was the friendly (and overreacting) Gemerl.

"Gemerl, what's he doing here?" Knuckles suspiciously asked.

"I thought bringing him here to look after the Master Emerald while you're gone might be a good idea." Tails explained. The red echidna gave the robot the stink-eye.

"What makes you think I'm letting a hunk of metal look after my emerald?" The echidna complained. The robot then turns his intention to Master Emerald, scanning it.

"The Master Emerald. It holds unbound and infinite power in the form of extremely potent and raw chaos energy which can be-" Gemerl was then interrupted.

"HEY, STOP READING THE EMERALD IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YA!" Knuckles yelled loudly, pushing the robot out of the way.

"KNUCKLES, STOP!" Tails yelled, getting his attention. "Look, I know how passionate you are about your job, but there's no need to worry. Gemerl has proven himself that he can take care of the emerald, he even helped us with the...*sigh* 'Zombots' invasion."

"Hmm, I guess...alright, fine!" Knuckles grumbled, looking back at the robot. "Do not try anything funny..."

"Do not fret, I will only be funny if you want me to be." Gemerl said, making Knuckles sigh.

"Remind me that Sonic should stay away from dangerous portals for now on." The echidna suggested.

"Noted, c'mon, let's go!" Tails replied, the two making they're way to The Tornado, as it flew away. Gemerl was next to the Master Emerald, making sure that no one tried to steal it.

"This...might take a while." Gemerl said to himself. A little bird came flying next to the robot, making his eyes glow bright red, scaring the bird away.

That's all folks! (Until the next few chapters, of course) Sorry about this being a little short then the last one, I just got Sonic Mania Plus for the Switch, and I just can't stop playing that game (lol). Don't worry tho, the next chapter will be longer. Promise.
