The tension in the air continued to rise, even after Thor had taken his place at the table. Loki standing by, refusing to be a part of the Avenger's little talk.

"Now, I know that the circumstances aren't very agreeable," Fury looked around at the frowning faces, "But we have something," Fury stole a glance towards Thor and Loki before correcting himself, "somethings that have to be discussed."

Fury focused his attention on the Avengers who were from Earth.

"Have you made a decision about Jackson?"

Steve, Natasha, Bruce, Tony, and Clint looked around at each other before nodding. Steve was the one to speak up.

"We have." Steve took a deep breath, "Percy Jackson is a threat to all those around him. It has been proven time and time again and it's only gotten worse since the manhunt for him when he was twelve. We're afraid that if we don't do anything soon…he may actually end up killing someone."

"So that's why we decided to make him an Avenger." Bruce said, "Well, an Avenger in training."

Natasha took over, "We feel that if we train him, he'll become less of a threat and more of a hero."

"We already know that he can fight. His little battle with Steve proved that much. Besides," Tony smirked, "I'd like to know how he blew up his gym."

Fury ignored Tony's comment in favor of pulling out his phone. Pressing a few buttons, he put the phone up to his ear, "Coulson, I need you to find out where Percy Jackson is and bring him in."

The Avengers (and Fury) were surprised when they heard a loud thud. Looking over at the source of the sound, they found Thor standing up, his chair pushed back and hands on the table, his mouth hanging open.

"Did you just say Percy Jackson!?"

"Now this is interesting." Loki laid a hand on Thor's shoulder, "Don't you think so brother?"

"What are you talking about?" Fury had an expression on his face that showed he wasn't in the mood for games.

Thor shook his head, "I can not say much, but I can tell you this. Get back in contact with the Son of Coul and tell him not to take Percy Jackson by force."

"What can you tell us?" Clint asked, speaking for the first time since the meeting started.

"Approach him with caution and with friendly intent only," Loki said, not giving Thor a chance to answer, "Or you will gain an enemy that not even the Avengers can handle."

Percy was walking down the street toward the area where he first met Steve. His clothes singed and his head full of questions that were brought on by his battle with Emy.

Percy stopped and let out a frustrated groan, his hands pulling at his hair. As much as he hated to admit it, he needed help. Percy stuffed his hand in his pocket before pulling out a spare drachma that he always had on hand. In case of emergencies.

He wanted to make this call as fast as he could, but at the moment there was no safe way to do so. Shaking his hair of his face, Percy decided that he would have to wait until he was at a more private place.

Percy continued walking, intent on finding someplace where he could make an iris message. He didn't take two steps before he heard the thundering of footsteps. When he looked up, he was surrounded by both men and women alike, each and every one of them armed.

Percy tensed his muscles, reading his body for a battle. He allowed his eyes to drift trying to find an escape route. Percy gritted his teeth together when he found no hole in their circle. His arm slowly started to drift towards riptide. He stopped in confusion when a voice rang out.

"Stop!" A man in a suit walked toward Percy with an air of authority, "We're not here to hurt you Mr. Jackson."

Percy eyed the stranger warily, "Then why am I surrounded?"

"A precaution."

Percy raised his eyebrows.

"A precaution? Seriously? What exactly is it that you need to be cautious about?"

"I mean no offense, but you did fight Captain Rogers and escaped without as much as a scratch."

Percy raised an eyebrow, "I got lucky."

"Like I said," The man in the suit shrugged, "It's just a precaution. One that will go away as soon as you agree to come with me."

Percy surveyed the group surrounding him, once again finding that there was no room for an escape. When he looked back at the strange man he found him staring right back.

Percy let his hand fall back and rest against his thigh.

"I don't have much of a choice, do I?"
