Lullay, Black Butler (sebastian michaelis love story) Chapter 7 - Her Butler, in Her Heart
Notes: I am back! And I was given a week off from work due to slow production for next week; so hopefully, that will give me more time to write for you. Welcome back everyone!
"GIRLS! GIRLS! STOP! ENOUGH! DESIST!"
"IT'S MINE!" screams Lily.
"NO WAY! IT'S MINE!" says Luna. I step in front of them and I take the stupid thing away from them. I raise it in the air,
"I think you both have had enough chocolate for today! Honestly, you girls shouldn't be fighting over this. It's ridiculous! Now, apologize to each other." The girls look to each other,
"I'm sorry, Lily."
"I'm sorry too, Luna." I smile.
"Now, I must get back to work."
"~arf! arf!~"
"Hmm?" Then, I see a boyish man, dressed in a butler outfit, running to us on all fours. "AHH!" He knocks me to the ground.
"Pluto! Get off her!" I hear Bard, pulling that 'thing' off me.
"Pluto..." The dog-er-boy-uh, whatever it is, sees Sebastian and in a stern voice, "Kennel."
"~whines~" He gets off me and leaves. Finny and Mey-Rin help me up.
"We're soo sorry, Eli!" says a worried Finny.
"What the hell!? Lock that thing up!"
"But, Eli, I think he was interested in the chocolate." says Mey-Rin.
"No, you think?" I leave to put the chocolate away.
Lily's POV
I go outside after the incident with Eli and Plu-Plu.
"I wonder what's with Eli? She seems to be cranky ever since the night she went to the ball. And that was a few days ago."
"London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, my Fair Lady."
"Huh? Who's there?" I go towards the sound of someone, a familiar lady, singing. I end up deep in the garden. "Hello?"
"Heh, heh, heh. Look what I found, a little girl. Are you lost?"
"Uh..." The man was really scary and creepy. All ragged up. I start to get scared and I ran back to the manor. I slip and fall to the ground. The creepy man comes to me.
"Gotcha!"
"NO!"
"I don't think so!" Then, still having my eyes shut, I hear something like a chainsaw go off and hear the man scream. Then, it becomes quiet. I hear footsteps come to me. "Hey, you." I open my eyes and I see a man dressed in red and has red glasses and long red hair.
"Please...don't hurt me."
"Hurt you? Silly girl, I just saved you. Besides, I can't kill the younger humans anyways."
"Huh?" He picks me up and places me on his shoulders. We head back to the manor,
"LILY!" I see Eli run to me and she has a look like she's gonna kill the guy that just saved me. She's followed by Mr. Sebastian, Ciel and Luna.
"Sister!" screams Luna.
"We heard you scream." says Ciel.
"Yes, but this nice man saved me."
"OH! MY BASSY!" The man runs to Mr. Sebastian, but he steps to the side, pick me up from the man and he crashes in the bushes.
Elianna's POV
"What...the...hell?"
"Not again." says Ciel.
"Huh?" Ciel explains,
"Grell Sutcliff. A Grim Reaper."
"Are you serious!?"
"He was the butler of Madam Red...my aunt, but he murdered her. Together, before her passing, they were Jack the Ripper. But, now, he works with the Dispatch Management Division."
"Meaning..."
"Well, he's a grim reaper."
"Oh. He's like a collector of souls." Luna looks at Ciel and I in shock.
"Plus, he's very flamboyant."
"Wait...you mean he's-"
"Yes, human! I have a strong love and my passion grows like fire for my Bassy!" With an annoyed look, Sebastian says,
"Not in front of the children at least." As he sets Lily down,
"Oh, how sweet! So instead of your Master, you have three more annoying humans on your shoulders."
"What of it?" I asked. Then, I can feel my waist being wrapped by Sebastian's arm.
"But, that doesn't bother me, now does it?" My face becomes hot."
"What-what-what! What the hell!? I'll be back, my Bassy!" Then, he disappears. Then, Sebastian's arm leaves my waist.
"Eli? Please don't be mad." says Lily.
"Why would I be mad?"
"Because you've been cranky for a few days and I went to a deep part of the garden without anyone." I bend down to her and place a hand on her head.
"I'm sorry if you think that. I'm sorry, Lily. And to you too, Luna. To everyone. A lot's been on my mind."
"It's not your fault. You're stressed and busy." says Luna with a smile.
"Heh, heh. You're right, Luna. So now, Lily, why did you go so far in the garden?"
"Well, I heard a lady sing and it might be just me, but it sounded like Mother."
"Mother?"
"You angry?"
"No, sweetie. We have a lead. Can you show me where?" Lily takes us to where she heard the noise.
"It's right here and that's when the creepy guy came and Grell saved me." I look around, but, there's nothing out of the ordinary. We head back inside and I see Lily blushing and Luna, twirling a flower.
"Eli?"
"Yes, Ciel?"
"Pack up, we are all going to London."
"Okay."
We all finally show up and the girls are all excited.
"Wow!"
"London!" We show up at the house, which, I'm sure this is where we are staying for a bit. But, I don't know why. Ciel and Sebastian left to town, Finny and Bard were downstairs, and Mey-Rin, Tanaka and my sisters are somewhere in the house. I feel like I need to practice my barrier. Just when I think I got it, the door slams open.
"Wow! Agni! Look!"
"Please, Prince Soma."
"Excuse me!" They both look at me, the 'prince' sees me and grabs my hand,
"Hello, beautiful maiden. I'm Prince Soma. Would you like to be my wife?"
"HUH!?"
Lily's POV
"We're meeting all sorts of silly people today. But, I wonder what big sister means by Mr. Grell being a grim reaper. And he knows Mr. Sebastian. Could it be Mr. Sebastian is also a -" Then I bump into someone, falling to the floor. "I'm so sorry! Please, forgive me!" I look up and it's Ciel and Mr. Sebastian. Ciel helps me up,
"Be careful next time, Lily." He walks away.
"I'll be making some tea for the Young Master." Sebastian walks away to the kitchen. I quietly follow him and I peek around the corner, to see if he really is who he is. So far, everything seems to be normal. "You know, if you want to watch me to see if I'm being as suspicious as you believe, you could have asked."
'Uh! How-how-how-how-how does he-'
"Because, fair Lily," he turns and smiles, "I am simply one hell of a butler."
Elianna's POV
"Please forgive my Prince, Elianna."
"It's quite alright...Hmm? Oh, Ciel."
"Ah! What are you doing here!?" Soma was laying on the bed and Agni right by his side,
"Please, step forward,everyone." And all of the sudden, everyone goes to the Prince's side and ask him all questions on what the Palace is.
"Unbelievable." says Ciel.
The Next Morning
"NO! LET ME GO!" I sit up right away, hearing Ciel scream. I go to the door, open it and peek out and see Sebastian, Ciel and Soma.
"I'm sorry, but Master has lessons today."
"Alright. But after you are finished, then we go out on to the city.
Luna's POV
Lily and I make it to the Music Room, where Ciel and Mr. Sebastian were waiting for us. Ciel, who has a violin and Mr. Sebastian, at the piano.
"It's time to begin." says Mr. Sebastian.
"This looks difficult." says Ciel. They both start playing.
'How come this sounds familiar?' Lily must have known, because she starts,
"Fate has been cruel and order unkind, how could I have sent you away?"
"So rest easy now, the punishment's mine. The weight of my crimes are my own." I see Mr. Sebastian smile. 'I really hope she falls in love with him.'
Elianna's POV
I finish my chores and smile, hearing my sisters sing, the violin and the piano play. Of course, it's the lullaby. I peek through the door and when they got to the chorus, I sing my own version, quietly while watching Sebastian,
"Lullay, Black Butler, good night love of mine. Rest now in midnight's embrace. May this sweet lullaby ease your thoughts. With moon, the sky; the night. May my song find you tonight. And may my sorrow in kind. Sebastian, I love you much more than you know. May troubles be far from your mind. And forgive me for my foolishness."'~gasp~ Did...did I really say that? No...NO! I can't fall in love! Lily and Luna...they...they are happy. They love Sebastian. Do I...no...I do. He's a demon though. And even if he accepts my feelings, will the girls accept it too?'
