Lullay, Black Butler (sebastian michaelis love story) Chapter 13 – His Lady, Betrayed
Elianna's POV
The servants were outside, but they had shocking expressions. Well, I guess it's my fault for surprising everyone. The girls are going to be excited to see me. I step out of the carriage and the servants run to me.
"Lady Everton! We didn't expect you back for another few days!" says Mey-Rin. "Did you leave early?"
"Actually, no. Last night was my last night in France. I didn't feel like traveling by boat, so I kinda used my powers to travel home. But, enough of that, I have presents for everyone!" Giving everyone their presents.
"Um, can you excuse me?" asks Mey-Rin, as she runs inside with her presents. I smile, knowing she must be excited about the presents; she can't wait to open them.
Sebastian's POV
The Queen's butler has left the Manor.
"Do you think it's a coincidence that Eli has been performing the Seven Wonders the same night Lily disappears?" asks my Master.
"No. I don't believe it is."
"Let's keep in mind what Ash said. That there is a cult, practicing forbidden power. Also, with the doomsday books. Sins are recorded and your judgment has been sentenced to you." The door slams open.
"MASTER!" Mey-Rin comes in.
"Mey-Rin! What is it!? And what's with the presents!" I said.
"Sir, I hope you found some information on Lily!"
"Not even close." Answers my Master.
"Because Lady Everton has just arrived outside the manor!" I gasp, shock and my mouth open and eyes wide and Master has same expression and sat out of his chair.
"What! What do you mean she's here! From France to here, it takes about three days for travel."
"She must have used some of her powers to use fast travel, my Lord." Of course, this is the time for Eli to come back. But, when I turn to look at the doorway, there she is. She is wearing a black corset, and long draping black skirt that covers her feet and holding presents. LOTS of presents. But, even though she is covered in blood and dirt, she is still beautiful.
"Hi, everyone!" My Master, trying to stay calm,
"Hello, Eli…we –we didn't expect you back so soon!"
"Well, let's say after seeing my Hell, I had a desperate need to come home fast. But, I hope my sisters weren't trouble." I answer, taking the presents,
"Luna was perfect, but we had a few rundowns with Lily. Eventually, it got better."
"Where are they? I must see them." I start to panic,
"They went out…with…their mentors. For a small field trip." Eli had a written question and confused look on her face,
"Well, okay. The top three presents are yours, Ciel."
"Thank you, Eli." She turns to me,
"And the rest are yours, Sebastian." I bow,
"Thank you, Eli. You've gone so much trouble for a loyal servant."
"It's no trouble, Sebastian." She smiles, but it was a sad smile. She walks out.
"What are we going to do?"
"I'm not going to worry, as long as she doesn't have an idea." Says my young Lord. We're forgetting on problem; she's a Supreme. Eventually, she's going to know.
Elianna's POV
I place the girls' presents in my room and I decide to go take a bath. Claudia's blood is still on me. I would have taken one back at France, but I need to shake that image of Hell off me. Sebastian's not a human; I keep forgetting that. Would he go through some demonic ways just to make someone his? I sit in the tub, full of warm, steamy water. I feel so relaxed. I rub my body and use lilac smell of shampoo and soap. For now, I'll just relax.
Putting on a light blue draping dress, I was planning to go see my girls. They should be back now. I quietly open the door to Luna's room and I see Luna sleeping. I went to go touch her face, until I saw her closed eyes; red and puffy. Like she was crying really hard. I leave her room and I went to Lily's room.
'This isn't right for Luna to cry like that.' I open Lily's door and she's not in bed. "Lily?" I search everywhere from closet to underneath her bed. "LILY!?" I step on her stuffed kitty and pick it up, "If I can find other Supremes, what about other people?" I close my eyes and I think of Lily, her looks, smile and laughs. She fades and I see…a cottage. I see her in a room, sleeping. She's in like she's underneath the cottage. She's resting her closed eyes and her head on someone's lap and her hair is being played with. But, it's so hard to pull out the person. The image fade. I open my eyes and look at her stuffed kitty. I grasp it really tight. I'm mad. I'm pissed as hell. "CIEL!"
Ciel's POV
"CIEL!" I sit out of my chair,
"What the hell!?"
"It appears Eli has figured it out." I leave and run to Eli's room, with Sebastian following me. Appearing out of nowhere, Eli shows up in front of me and grabs me by the collar.
"Young Master!" Sebastian pulls Eli away from me and I'm dropped to the floor. She turns and slaps Sebastian in the face, leaving a red mark. He stands in shock and I'm in shock as well. "Eli…"
"What the hell is wrong with you two!? Especially you, Sebastian! You were supposed to be watching them! And now, Lily is gone!"
"Calm down – "
"Don't you tell me to calm down! Don't you dare fucking tell me to calm down, Ciel Phantomhive! I had a vision and she's nowhere near here!" She collapses on her knees and sobs. I go close to her,
"Eli, breathe. What is the vision on where Lily is?"
"Underneath…a cottage. It looks like it's right by a forbidden cult that wants to overthrow the government. My mother told me to stay away from them, for they are also witch hunters."
"Huh? The Queen's butler left here not long before you arrive, stating that the Queen wants me to rid of the cult. I wonder if that is the same cult that has something to do with Lily's kidnapping," Leaving all details about the Angel out. She stands,
"Well, what are we waiting for! Let's go!"
"Hold on, we don't want to rush inside and start demanding. I hear they also order coffins; and I know an expertise."
Elianna's POV
"Um…what exactly is this?"
"This is a funeral parlor. The Undertaker running this helps the young Master in some of his cases. Jack the Ripper, for example." I take Sebastian's words for consideration, but, I'm not planning to respond. Sebastian opens the door for us,
"I'm coming in." says Ciel. I follow Ciel, and this is such a gloomy place. There's cabinets full of jars and stuff inside, an anatomy skeleton and body, coffins, cobwebs and spider webs. I hear crackling,
"Hee, hee! Welcome!" There's a slender person that is wearing like a black robe or a cloak.
"Listen up, Undertaker. I have some business to discuss."
"In that case," he turns and I hear a recognizable, unmissable,
"Hee hee." Running to us, his hood fell off, red hair flying, "I'd love to listen to any business that Bassy has to offer!" Sebastian steps aside and Grell crashes in the wall.
"Wait, Grell!?" I step aside and I see a head in a big jar, gray hair and pale skin and wicked smile. Like that cat from Lily's favorite storybook.
"AHH!" I back up and my back bump into Sebastian. "Who the hell is-is-is that!?"
"The fool believes he is not afraid of Grim Reapers, so I buried him in salt." Says Grell.
"It's moistening my body as we speak." Still having a grip of my shoulders, Sebastian says,
"What exactly have you been investigating?" So, Grell has explained about cinematic record books and Ciel explain about the doomsday books that may have a connection. The cult orders coffins, so a plan is made.
Undertaker drop us off and I transfigure into a wolf. Ciel, Sebastian and Grell have entered inside. I hide in the forest and I stare down at Sebastian, hoping he remembers what I said.
~flashback~
We almost arrive at the abandoned town, in which the cult is now residing.
"You can do whatever it is you need to do about your books. I'm here to find Lily. You can help if you want, but when I get Lily back…we're leaving the Phantomhive Manor." Sebastian didn't answer. Didn't even look at me. In fact, no one did.
~present~
As of this moment, I work alone. These girls are MY responsibility. I lay down, dozing off, getting my strength for tonight.
Night has finally arrived and I wake, standing up and stretching my limbs. I can pick up multiple scents, I follow them and I see a familiar cottage. I smile,
'There it is! Lily!' I run out of the forest, but I go to complete halt. 'Huh?' I see Ciel and Grell standing outside of the cottage. Ciel, looking annoyed and Grell…never mind. I walk quietly, passing them. I get near the cottage, I smell the air and there's two scents combining. One was Sebastian's…the other…oh no.
Ciel's POV
"He really thinks doing 'THIS' is going to give us all the information we need."
"GRR! That's it! I'm going to put her name on the 'to die' list!" As he writes.
"Idiot." I look to my left and I see a wolf heading to the cottage, moving slowly and stealth like. "Wait…that wolf," As I remember Eli changing to a black wolf, white chest and paws and white tip of her ears. "That wolf looks like," As I follow 'Eli'.
"Hey! Where are you going!?" Grell follows.
Elianna's POV
I look to find an opening, a window, anything so I can see inside. There was no light; I found an opening and when I got nearer, I heard moans. I sneak quietly and peek in. I found a new Hell. My face is in complete shock. Sebastian. He's…taking her. It didn't help that I know her. Matilda Simmons. I knew she wasn't really a witch! She's in this cult. She must have taken Lily! And now, Sebastian…he seems to enjoy it. She's exposed to him. My tail and ears are tucked. I feel jealous. I feel sad. I feel rage. I know, now, my missing sister is not on his mind. I ran away, I didn't want this no more. It's over! I can't no more. I will not be part of this anymore! Part of the demon I loved, no more.
Ciel's POV
We turn around the corner and Eli ran passed us; not caring if she noticed us or not. She had tears in her eyes. I knew it. There IS something between them. She disappears in the forest. Then, she howls. A sad, betrayal, suffering howl. Begging and pleading for someone to help.
Sebastian's POV
"AH! I can see them! I can see the gates to Heaven now!"
"I doubt that; now where is Lily Everton?"
