Goofy frantically rushes through the streets as all around him people are being eaten alive. However, rather than stay dead, the victims merely rise and join the mindless horde. It's only a matter of time before they start targeting him, but all Goofy cares about right now is reaching the home of his old friend Mickey Mouse. As he nears the house, he slows to walking pace and readies his gun, a pistol he managed to salvage from a fallen police officer. "Is anybody ho-" All of a sudden, a scream can be heard from within the building. "Minnie? I gotta get in there!" Goofy shoves the front door open and goes to where he heard the scream. In the kitchen, he sees both Mickey and Minnie, but Mickey doesn't look right. He's limping slowly towards Minnie, and he has a bite mark on his left ear. A bite mark... "Mickey! Hey! Are ya okay, pal?" his friend turned to face him, but said nothing aside from a low growl.
Goofy refused to believe it. I couldn't be true! But it was, and now Mickey was shambling towards him. Goofy hesitantly pointed his gun at the living corpse of his friend, his hands visibly trembling. "Mickey, please! I don't wanna hyucking do this!" Goofy tries to get a good aim with the gun, but his teary-eyed vision impedes his progress. After a few moments and a sudden lunge from Mickey, the big-footed softy closes his eyes in anticipation for what he's about to do. His only confirmation of the deed is the sound of a loud crack followed by a thud on the tile floor. Sure enough, when he opens his eyes, he sees Mickey lying cold on the floor, blood pooling around his head. Goofy falls to his knees, eyes fixated on the corpse, and thinks about what he's done; all the while, Minnie is sobbing in the corner, mourning the loss of someone she holds dear.
Well, that was short, wasn't it?
Hello reader, and thanks for making it to the end of this super long story. If you think this might be cut a bit short, I do plan on continuing it. I just wanted to dip my toe in the water first. Since this is a pretty ridiculous concept, I'm open to take suggestions for where this story can go. That's about all from me. Hope you enjoyed!
