As his body hit the floor several concealed locations of Konoha began to glow.
(Location 1, fifteen minutes after scene ending)
The first location to glow was in Kakashi's flat, Kakashi was in the kitchen when a fuuinjutsu array written into his ceiling. He was in the kitchen making a salad to go along with his comfort takeout, his lone eye widened when he saw the sheer pile of folders. With the curiosity of a cat, a cautious cat, an extremely cautious cat with a kunai he poked open the cover of the first file.
His eye widened. It explained a lot, the subjects of the files were Shimura Danzo and Uzuki Hari. Furthermore, the files not only revealed public known information but it appeared to reveal every meddling and transaction Danzo had performed.
The usage of Root to become his personal army with programmed orders to take out his 'enemies' in Konoha in order to make Konoha the supreme and only Shinobi Nation.
However, the third file was the one that turned Kakashi's stomach. Danzo had caused the decline of Hatake Sakumo. Kakashi looked, it appeared that Danzo orchestrated the mission failure that caused his father to hang himself. That was the reason, Kakashi had moved in with Minato-Sensei and Kushina-nee.
Kakashi was gripped now, he began to read into Shimura Danzo and his eye narrowed. It was Danzo! It had always been Danzo. Danzo, had been the one to alter Itachi's mission from selective assassination to genocide…Danzo had profited by… "A sharingan arm and eye transplant!"
(Side-step and rewind)
Twelve ANBU had been required. Twelve of the Hokage's most elite operatives had been required to subdue Uzuki Hari. Four of them had been ANBU from Tsunade's personal bodyguards and as for the other eight, they had been members of the Root Division.
Hari was good, he had been rapidly re-gaining atrophied muscle and stagnant chakra reserves. But in his prime, he would have struggled with just one ANBU Team but with three, he had no chance. That did not mean that he crippled at least three permanently and two momentarily "Get him out of here. I'll deal with him shortly." Tsunade Ordered.
She turned to the dumbfounded Naruto, who removed his headband and Chunin vest and in a daze was escorted away by Shikamaru. As the two now former colleagues left the courtroom, the other locations began to appear.
(Location 2)
This was an old kunai that Jiriaya had given Hari, just before his infiltration of Iwa. The kunai rested on Jiraiya's knee, concealed by the sage coat the Toad-Sannin wore as he sat on Geotora the contract toad that held the key to his Godson's seal. Then it began to heat up.
Jiraiya looked down, placed the kunai in front of the two and after summoning two more toads, the kunaibegan to unravel in the hilt as documents evidently copies began to materialise.
"Jiraiya-Sama, if you're reading this then Danzo has made his move. Everything here shows just what I've managed to see what he's done. What, you do with the information I know not. You're not the only one who has the information. Six others possess the information…Thank-you Jiraiya-Sama for everything. Keep an eye on Higurashi Tenten, keep an eye on my little girl please. As I think my luck's run out." Uzuki Hari.
Jiraiya looked at the folders, gathered them and body-flickered away.
(Location 3)
Tenten sat in the hidden room, in her adopted parents basement. She was pouring over the files that her father had left out. What she was reading turned her stomach! She knew in this line of work that she'd have to do unspeakable things but Shimura Danzo, did this because he could!
She needed to speak to her parents about this. The job had become much more dangerous and she needed help.
The other locations were irrelevant, all that mattered for Uzuki Hari was that the truth was out. The exploding tag had gone off, now he just had to wait see the result. Konoha would not be the same again.
(Naruto)
Naruto, quickly assembled his pack. He would need to move fast and act even faster. He had found on his kitchen table several files with his name on them, now was not the time. He put them in his pack and he put all of his shinobi gear into the bag along with some ration packs.
"Where are we going?"
"Not a clue, Kyubi…Suna probably."
The seal flared briefly as the fox made its displeasure known at being in close proximity to the One-Tailed Tanuki, Shukaku. Naruto pulled his bag on and he snuck out the back door.
He made his way onto the street level and then effortlessly blended away into the crowd and headed for the gates. Thankfully the outcome of the court martial hadn't been made public yet, so Naruto was able to cast a henge on himself and walkout the gates un-opposed.
(Uzuki Hari)
Hari, woke to find his hands, wrists and his ankles bound and he happened to be suspended. "He's awake Danzo-Sama."
Hari listened to the shuffling footfalls and the accompanying cane taps "My Agent said you were awake."
Hari remained silent. Danzo moved forwards and tapped him with the cane "Defiant or stubborn? Either way, it matters not. No-one knows where you are."
Hari, then moved as suddenly his entire body convulsed with a sneeze which did not rattle the Warhawk, but did have two Root ANBU dive in "Stand down."
Like drones they did so "Let me guess this is the point where you offer me the chance to serve Konoha as a Root Operative?"
Danzo didn't reply. Hari decided to push the hornets nest "How's the arm? The mirror arm I mean? Kami above how much disinfectant and eye drops do you go through? If I'd brutally murdered the Uchiha Clan, I'd have at least stockpiled supplies."
That triggered it "You know nothing of what you speak."
"I know nothing of what I speak? What is this? A comic book? Seriously the first part sounds like something I read whilst in Iwa. Anyway, Danzo-sama, illuminate me. Why'd you order the entire clan to be put to the sword from the babes to the infirm. What was SO…"
"A coup. They were planning a coup, a coup to over…"
"Overthrow the Sandaime and put an Uchiha in charge of the Senju-ideals…Yes, yes I paid attention to the history lessons. I also know that you, were trained by the Nidaime and the Shodaime but for you personally it was more of the Nidaime Hokage. You wanted to be the Shadow to Sandaime-Sama's Light; I get it. But you do realise I'm not going to serve in Ne."
Danzo turned lifting up the bandage that covered his eye "I know. Not willingly, but you will serve…Now, how did Kagami do it…oh yes, Tsukuyomi!"
Hari's world dissolved.
(Hokage's Office)
Tsunade shook her head, she sat at the desk that had been for once devoid of paperwork. She placed her head in her hands, the evidence of Naruto using the Kyuubi's chakra clearly evident. She had given him orders to kill and judging by Shikamaru's report of fighting the Sound Ninja Four, coupled with Rock Lee's in fighting a fifth member giving the orders to kill was a good call.
However, Naruto's report was not present. Tsunade may have been out of the village a while, but she was no-one's fool. She knew all to well that Naruto was everyone's scapegoat and her dismissing him from the forces had not been the smartest move. She didn't even know why she did it, as she brought her head out of her hands and went for the bottle of sake in her desk. She pulled it out and on her desk were eight files; seven of them said 'Top Secret' but the last one had the crest of the Uchiha on it, intrigued she pulled it towards her 'Shisui' was all it said. "Shisui…Uchiha…Shisui…SHIZUNE!"
Her best friend and attendant stuck her head in "Tsunade?"
"Uchiha Shisui…"
Shizune's eyes widened as she remembered the name "Few years older than myself. Three to four if I remember rightly, considered to be a prodigy of the Uchiha Clan…More so than Itachi…"
Tsunade nodded "That's what it says here. Anything else?"
"Apart from he mastered the Shunshin to an extent that he created the Zanzo Bunshin no Jutsu, Afterimage Clone and received the mangekyo at a young age."
Tsunade sighed "One of the techniques that Shisui allegedly had at his disposal alongside Susano'o, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu which I know to be universal Mangekyo Hidenjutsu, due to serving with Uchiha in Two Shinobi Wars, all of them who activate the mangekyo have a fourth ability unique only to them. It says here Shisui only demonstrated Amaterasu and Susano'o and that his third ability is something known only as Kotoamatsukami. A Genjutsu, above all Genjutsu…supposedly it…"
"It what Tsunade-sama?"
"Allows the wielder to enter the mind of any individual within their line of sight and manipulate them…furthermore these things appear to be done at the subject's own violation and will…Says only six people knew about this technique. Two are dead one's a nuke-nin and the other three…" Tsunade's eyes narrowed and flashed.
"Danzo! He looked shiftier than ususal."
The conversation died as Kakashi, Jiraiya and a third person stuck their heads through the window "Can I help you Jiraiya, Kakashi and…?"
"Higurashi Tenten…My parents are coming up right now." Soon enough the five of them: One Sannin, one elite jonin, a girl with a legacy and her semi-retired parents were all standing in the office.
"All right, I'll be brief…Why are you all here? I've just potentially crippled Konohagakure and then I received these." She gestured to an assorted number of files.
Jiraiya sauntered over, smug grin on his face casually popped around the desk and began searching throught the folders, occasionally picking up one or two. Tsunade looked curiously and her eyes widened as Jiraiya himself revealed a stash of folders "You were finding the identical ones…Just what is going on here? Kakashi, you as well."
The sorting went on for what seemed to be forever, but in fact it only took half an hour. Tsunade looked, right now between the three caches of files, there were quite a few not confirmed. "Even with a lot of this without a confirmation folder, I can legally string Danzo up."
Tenten looked at the buxom Hokage "Please do Hokage-Sama…Uzuki Hari, my birth father is potentially in his hands…It sounds silly but he gave me his word…"
"To get to know you, as a colleague and a friend. Potentially as a father, he said that the latter bit was your call. He asked me to look out for you." Jiraiya admitted.
"Why?"
"You were born in Iwa…Hari had his cover blown due to Danzo. He was handicapped with chakra depletion, broken limbs and a baby. When I picked him up in the Land of Earth, I found him half delirious from exhaustion, half feral from Iwa attacks. He put you in my arms and told me 'Stop for no-one. Get her safe. After all I've done for you Toad-Sage…this is the least you can do for me."
Tenten's eyes glassed over and she turned to her parents "All those times you've gone out in the middle of the night or you've let someone in, in the middle of the night…"
"Him. He never had much. His relationship with his sister was never the best. The three of us, we were real…He had a reason to fight. When he was discharged dishonourably, it was him verus Danzo."
Tenten nodded at the information "This…All of what he's doing. This bomb tag he's having us light."
"Vengeance. The reason we're doing this…is because Uzuki Hari would only have asked us…if he couldn't."
(Danzo)
"Danzo-Sama, the Weapon has left Konoha."
"Send Detachment Alpha, Teams 1-4 to pursue. Detachment Kunai teams 3,6 and 4 to ambush. Detachment Echo, Teams 3, 5 and 9 for rescue…You have your orders. This one is being reluctant to assist the development of Konoha."
(Location 4)
"Tsunade-Sama needs to see these!" Yugao said as she hastily pulled on a pair of pants and a black jonin shirt, given to those in the ANBU to be used in down time.
Hayate Gekko flicked open one file, revealing it to be the mission that had nearly caused his lungs to collapse "Hai…Koi, who…who would have given you all of this…"
"Hari. He's in trouble. Tsunade-sama should have some answers."
(Locations 5)
Yamato, the soul survivor of the Mokuton Trials, sat on his basic but primitive cot in Uzuki Hari's loft conversion. The Mokuton user, looked at the files and as he read them like a curious child, he kept noticing Kakashi's face when his closest friend had a Chidori next to his face "I choose Tsunade-Sama. I reject you Danzo, for you Hari-sampai, Kakashi-sampai I hope this makes a difference.
(Location 6)
"This is most un-youthful. Hari, I hope you're okay."
(Hokage's Office)
"Jiraiya, Kakashi…I NEED to know Uzuki Hari, I need to know him more than he knows himself. I need to know who could be a recipient of this…information. If I'm going to attempt to nail Shimura Danzo for crimes against Konoha, I am going for all three of my 'council'". Tsunade stated.
