What if Tom died? How would Ben be able to deal with it?
Tom was lying down in his bed. Feeling weak and not able to move. He knew that he would die but, that didn't matter to him he just wanted his best friend by his side.
Tom: *cough* (thinking) ("Guess this is it I'm going to die. Even if Ben dosen't come at least i'm dying in the place that started our long friendship.") Ben: "Tom? You feeling alright?" Tom: (weakly) "Ben?" Ben went to Tom. Ben: "Tom? What's wrong?" Tom: "I-I don't have much longer to live." Ben: (scared) "What?!" Tom: "I-I have an illness. I didn't want to worry you. So, I didn't say anything but, I should've told you I'm so sorry Ben." Ben: (sobbing) "I-I don't want you to go you're my best friend I need you we won't be called Tom and Ben Enterprises anymore." Tom: "I know at least you'll be the face of the company now. I didn't really do anything all I did was just come up with the ideas and most of them failed you're the one who did all the work." Ben: "But no one is as creative as you. What will I do without you?" Tom: "Don't worry I know you'll do great things for this company. Tom: "Ben?" Ben: *sob* "Y-yes?" Tom grabbed Ben and pulled him torward him for a gentle hug. Tom: (whispers) "I love you." Tom's eyes began to close. He was happy that his best friend was there with him during his final moments of life. Ben: (sobbing) "N-No Tom please don't go!" Ben cried uncontrollably sad that he lost his best friend and business partner he went under a tree far away from the town and buried him. Ben: "WHY!? WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN?! *sob* why why why?" Ben had memories of him and Tom when they were kids they played games, pranked each other, and had a lot of fun together. Ben: "We had so much fun together I hope I can happy again." Tom: "Don't be sad." Ben: "T-Tom?" Ben couldn't believe it Tom was in front of him but he was floating he had angel wings and a halo above his head. Ben: "Tom you're-" Tom: "An angel? Yeah pretty cool huh? Oh, probably not what you wanna hear right now I'm sorry." Ben: "I don't know what I'm gonna do without you Tom." Tom: "Don't worry everything will be ok. I know it hurt to lose me but I'll always be with you." Ben: *sniff* Tom: "I don't want to see you sad." Ben: "I know but I'll miss you." Tom: "I know um can you do something for me?" Ben: "What is it?" Tom hugged Ben. Tom: "Just live your life to the fullest and be happy for me...ok?" Ben: "Ok" Tom: "And thank you." Ben: "For what?" Tom: "Staying with me during my final moments." Ben: "You're welcome Tom." Tom went up into the sky. Tom: "Goodbye Ben." Ben: "Wait Tom I-" Tom faded away. Ben: "I'll make you proud friend." The End
