DESK

She stalls in the door opening, watching him behind his desk. A smile tugging on her lips as she watches him work, her boyfriend. The thought alone makes her stomach flutter, it's been just over a month now, and still, every day, she has to tell herself this is their reality now. She gets to go home with him.

"Ready to go, mister?" she says then, pushing forward before sauntering into his office, smiling at him when he finally looks up at her, the worry on his face immediately making room for a smile.

"Hey."

She rounds his desk and stops short in front of his chair, perching down on the edge of the table. She brings her hand to his head, slowly caressing his cheek until her fingers thread into his hair and his eyes close at her touch.

He lets her guide his head to her lap, just resting there for a moment as she massages his head. The past few days have been extra stressful, the surprise she thought she arranged with Mike not turning out the way she hoped it would.

Brushing her thumb over his ear, he slowly lifts his head again until he leans back in his chair again. She watches him breathe, and open his mouth once as if to start a sentence, but he doesn't.

"You okay?"

"Yeah," he shrugs. "It's just -"

"I know," she tells him; sliding back onto her feet, she steps in between his legs. Her hands running over his shoulders down to his tie, the silk fabric slipping between her fingers. "Anything I can do to make you feel better."

He grins instantly, his love for her shining through in his eyes, and she doesn't wait for him to comment, simply leans down to press her lips against his, slowly building the pace until she feels his muscles relax beneath her touch.

She pulls him up then, guiding him towards her as she settles back against his desk, his hands slowly sliding over her curves as she toys with his tie and the top buttons of his shirt.

They agreed early on to never let themselves get carried away at the office, and they've shared a heated kiss here and there before, but she's willing to break the rules for him now and just as she's about to show him by sliding her hand down his stomach to cup him over his pants, she hears his name.

"Harvey."

Except it isn't her voice.

No, it's Mike's, only seconds before he steps into the office too.

They quickly part, Donna sliding off of his desk once more, and Harvey is quick to straighten up. She can simply see the tension return to his shoulders.

The kid drops a folder on his desk and calls him a name she isn't going to repeat, but she shoots him a disappointed look as she keeps Harvey at bay with a simple touch.

Mike leaves them then, and Harvey sighs loudly. She brings her hands to his face, cupping his cheeks and turning his head to face her, letting her gaze do the talking - telling him everything will be alright in the end.
