D.J.'S P.O.V.
I dropped Callie back off at her house and then came home myself to get ready for school. We had decided that we would each bring up the idea of a big family talk tonight, but this would include our whole fammily...

I had just finished getting ready when I heard a knock at my door, I opened and there stood dad.
"Dani, told me that you and Callie went to the beach this morning." Dad said.
"Yeah, neither of us could sleep. So I picked her up and we went to the beach to decide what we should do about the baby. Dad, I'm scared...I mean I am not ready to be a dad." I confessed sitting down in my desk chair as my dad sat down on my bed.
"I know how you feel. When your mom told me she was pregnant I was terrified..." Dad said and I looked at him, because this was not something he had ever told me before.
"Why?" I asked. "Because I did not have the best dad, he was very abusive to me and your Grandma. I was terrified that the abuse was in my blood and I would end up hurting any kids I had the way I was hurt." Dad told me.
"So what changed? How did you get over being scared?" I inquired wanting to know if there was something I had to learn.
"I determined I was not going to be anything like my father. The day you and your sister were born...I looked at you 2 and made a promise to give you the best life I could. No one is ever ready to be a parent, D.J." Dad told me.
"Callie and I want to call a family meeting tonight with everyone there." I said and dad nodded.
"Is there a reason why you and Callie were at the beach this morning besides the fact neither of you could sleep?" Dad questioned and I nodded.
"Yeah, that is why we want to have a family meeting. Callie wants to keep the baby, but we don't want to raise him or her in 2 different houses, but we are 2 young to get a place on our own. The reason we want a family meeting is to figure out how to do that." I replied.

Sorry for such a short chapter and that it has been so long since I have written anything.
This is the worst writer's block I have had in a long time, but it is broken.
