DRESS

"Hey, you're back," he calls out to her the second he hears the door to his apartment open, and he shifts over the couch to watch his girlfriend walk towards him, shopping backs gracing her arm.

They've been together for three weeks now, and almost spend every waking minute together, so being home alone and having her come over is a rare occurrence and seeing it happen now on a Saturday afternoon just makes him feel giddy.

"Why did you miss me?" she teases, stopping next to his kitchen island to drop her bags. She tosses her keys in the bowl and takes off her coat, folding it and hanging it over one of the stools.

He waits for her to look at him, and he can see by the simple smile she gives him that his silent "you know I did" was understood.

She walks over to him then, leaning down to kiss him. A proper greeting, and he sighs as she pulls back.

"Did you have fun?"

She hums. "Yeah, I got a new pair of heels and three dresses," she answers. "Need to have something to fill up that closet of yours now that you've emptied out half for me."

He laughs and shakes his head, he holds back his comment about her overly-filled walk-in closet at her apartment. Instead, he blurts out another random thought that comes to mind. "Do any of those happen to be Taylor Swift kind of dresses?"

She almost drops her brand new heels at his comment, turning around to face him; her lips slowly part as she replays his question in her mind; she knows his music collection has a wide range, and since they've gotten together, some of her albums have found their spot on his shelves too. Still, his answer catches her off guard. "What?"

"You know, ones you only buy for me to take off," he answers, smiling at her. It was meant as a joke, but he's quite curious about her answer now.

She laughs and then, shakes her head as she does so. But it makes her think about her recent purchases regardless. "As a matter of fact," she teases, pulling out a red halter neck Roland Mouret with a deep plunging cleavage.

"Put it on."
