heyyyyyyy new chapter woooo! before theres any confusion there is a time skip to where the anime begins with lucy joining the guild

Ash let out a bored groan as she pressed her forehead on the bar counter causing Mira to giggle at the younger woman as she cleaned a glass, Gray who had been sitting next to her raised and raised an eyebrow his dark blue eyes trained on the ice dragon.

"whats with you?"

turning her head Ash's silver eyes met his and gave him an annoyed glare "im bored, Natsu's gone and Lyn wont leave her book alone" Gray's lips twitched in amusement as his eyes wandered over the Ayslyn who had curled up into a corner of the guild with Levy both of their faces completely focused on their respective books before wandering back to Ashtrid as she let out another groan.

Mira smiled down at the girl "Natsu will be back soon, and then the two of you can go on a mission together"

Ash looked up to the white haired beauty as sighed giving the older woman a small smile, after the twins had joined the guild Ash had become good friends with Mira and Erza and best friends with Natsu, Ayslyn had become fast friends with the shy Levy and surprisingly enough the loud mouthed Cana. It had taken Ash longer to come around as she had still been wary but after spending all these years at the guild she's learn to call them family.

Gray smirked at the bored teen as he took a sip of his drink, he noticed that if Ash didn't have anyone like Natsu to distract her she became extremely bored very quickly, usually when she got to that point Ayslyn or Erza would take her out on a job, but right now there wasn't anything that interested her.

"Flame brain will be back soon enough Ash, so stop groaning its getting annoying" Ash casted him a quick glare and was about to pick a fight with him and her head suddenly tilted towards the door her nose sniffing the air, and grinned. It was Grays turn to let out a annoyed groan as Ash bolted for the doors as they opened to reveal a familiar head of spiky pink hair.

Before Natsu could yell out his usual greeting he was tackled to the floor, Lucy blinked in confusion as Happy let out a small snicker at his best friend on the floor. Natsu blinked in confusion until the familiar smell of snow-berries hit him and he grinned, sitting up Natsu accepted the hug from his friend before standing up pulling the ebony haired teen with him.

"Ash!"

said teen grinned at her friend before turning her head sharply at the unfamiliar scent of strawberries and vanilla hit her, turning she glared at the blonde stranger in front of her, noticing her sudden change in attitude Natsu placed a hand on Ash's shoulder, although she had come to care for the guild members Ash still had trouble being near people she didn't know, Natsu of course new this so it was usually left to him or Ayslyn to calm her down.

Lucy blinked in surprise at the change in Ashtrid's character just a few seconds ago she was grinning and now she was glaring daggers at her for no reason, Lucy glanced at the pinkette as he tried to calm his friend down.

"Ashtrid, its okay, this is Lucy, she wants to join the guild" Ash casted a quick glance at Natsu before focusing her gaze back on Lucy who gave her an awkward smile, suddenly there was a familiar head of white hair and silver eyes staring at her. "ash? its okay" blinking Ashtrid focused on her twins face before calming down slightly, she still glowered but once Ayslyn and Natsu were certain she wasn't about to pounce on their new member they turned back to blonde teen.

Ayslyn gave her a small shy smile before quietly speaking to Lucy "hello, im Ayslyn and this is my sister Ashtrid i apologize for her, she dosent take well to strangers" Lucy nodded in understanding before her eyes widened in realization before gasping and jumping up and down excitedly much to the twins confusion, Natsu had already wandered off during introductions to pick a fight with a guild member.

"your Ash and Ayslyn! your the twin dragons of Fairy Tail!im a huge fan!" Ayslyn blinked in surprise before giggling at the blonde teen, she turned to see her sisters reaction but sighed when she found her gone, her eyes turned to look at the brawl breaking out in the guild to find her fighting Natsu and Gray a grin on her face. Lyn turned back to Lucy only to see her staring at the growing brawl her eyes wide.

letting out a giggle Ayslyn smiled at the girl and said "welcome to Fairy Tail" before heading back to Levy and her book, easily avoiding the flying chairs, tables and people, although Mira wasn't as lucky.

it had been a few weeks since Lucy joined the guild, and much to Ashtrids annoyance Lucy and Natsu became fast friends and have been going off on missions together leaving a very grumpy ice dragon behind, the two were currently off on some mission to decode some sort of book.

letting out a huff Ashtrid played with one of Fangs white paws while he napped in her lap, Ayslyn was sitting next to her at their table with Farrow sitting on the table in front of her the two of them reading a book. turning her head Ash's eyes traveled around the guild looking for someone to annoy, when her eyes didn't land on anyone she let out another huff, even gray was off on a mission so she couldn't even bother him. Turning back to her twin Ash studied her before asking 'lets do a mission"

blinking at the sudden request Lyn looked to her sister before tilting her head in thought before nodding "alright, its your turn to pick the job" grinning Ash gently moved the sleeping exceed to the table and made her way over to the request board, quickly scanning her silver eyes over the board they landed on a fairly interesting job , it paid well and the request was to help rid the town of a dark guild that has been harassing them. grinning she pulled the sheet off and made her way over to Ayslyn.

"found one!"

Lyn looked up to her twin then to the request and sighed before nodding "alright, go tell Mira ill wake up Fang" nodding Ash made her way towards the bar where Mira was working as Ayslyn closed her book and put it in her bag before waking up the orange exceed "you know you can say no when you dont want to do a certain job" Lyn turned her eyes to Farrow, silver meeting green and gave the tuxedo a small smile "i know but they make her happy" rolling her eyes Farrow spread her wings and hovered in the air waiting for the others to be ready.

Ash made her way over to her sister and exceeds "alright its approved, lets head home and get ready, then lets go!" giving her sister a small smile Lyn followed her out the front doors of the guild hall.

it didnt take them long to head home and get ready once they were Ash took a look at her twin and smiled, her long white hair had been pulled into a high ponytail with some loose strands framing her face, she had on a dark purple crop top with her signature light grey sleeveless jacket wrapped around her snugly. her fingerless gloves were the same dark purple as her shirt and went all the way up to just under her shoulders. Her belt left by her dragon Drifa was keeping her jacket closed before letting it flare out down to her ankles, showing her light brown leggings and dark knee length boots.

Ash glanced into the mirror and observed her own outfit she wore a similar crop top although hers was a light blue with long sleeves the flared down past her fingers slightly, with two cut out pieces exposing her shoulders, the outfit exposed her stomach and she had on a pair of slightly puffed out light grey pants (like how natsu's pants look) and a pair of black boots that stopped just under her knees. as usual her bracelet was left on her wrist and her ebony hair was left to flow down around her in soft waves.

her eyes wandered down to her tattoo which rested just above her hip and was an ice blue, after their conversation with Makarov Ash had gotten her tattoo on her waist while Ayslyn got hers on her back in a dark green, they had decided to get the colors of their dragons scales.

Farrow and Fang had gotten theirs on their backs both the color white.

Ash grinned at her twin before the four of them headed out the door towards the train station.

Ash let out a groan as she practically crawled off the train, her stomach still queasy from the train ride over, Ayslyn wasn't much better but at least was able to keep walking properly, Farrow and Fang following behind them quietly.

once the two started to feel better they decided to head to the village heads home, as they made their way through the town the four noticed the uneasyness of the people around them all of them had theirs eyes downcast and seemed to jump at every shadow, glancing at each other the two quickly made their way ahead hoping to solve the matter quickly.

Ash noticed the house first, it was simple but nice, it was a dark grey stone two story house with a small garden out front showing different kinds of flowers, Ayslyn gazed at the flowers as her sister knocked on the door.

her focused was pulled when the door was opened to reveal a small tired old man, he stared at the two cautiously until his eyes landed on Ashtrid's guild mark causing his eyes to brighten, "thank god! your'e finally here!" the twins blinked at each other before Ash spoke "um yes we are the mages of Fairy Tail that you requested to deal with the dark guild bothering you"

nodding happily he opened the door "oh yes! please do come in! come in!" the group was quickly ushered into a small living room and sent to sit on the couch as he brought them tea, Ash glanced around slightly uneasy as she wasn't exactly comfortable being in a strangers house but a job was a job. As he walked back in with the tea he smiled at the two girls and took the arm chair across from them.

"i can't express how glad i am to finally have someone come help us, the people here have been troubled for too long"

Ash took a sip of her tea before asking "how long has this been going on?"

"about a month now"

Ayslyn blinked at that before asking "and you haven't thought to seek help for earlier? why only ask now?"

"well you see we originally thought once they got what they wanted they would leave, but it had the opposite effect and now they are coming back constantly stealing and attacking the good people here, please! you have to help!" nodding the twins stood up "we wont, where is this guild based to?"

"um just past the back of the town i think, in the woods theres an old abandoned mansion down the old train, i think they are staying there" glancing at each other the girls started to head out "we will take care of it tonight, by tomorrow your town will be at peace"

they left the house with the old man thanking them and started to head towards the back village, Ayslyn glanced at her twin, carrying Farrow in her arms and asked "Ash? should we really go fight a guild alone? shouldn't we call for back up?"

Ash glanced back at her, her silver eyes twinkling with excitement "why would we do that? its more fun this way!" Ayslyn let out a defeated sign and held farrow closer knowing she wouldn't be able to convince her to call for backup. As they made their way through the woods Lyn couldn't help but feel creeped out, usually she would feel most at ease being in the woods but something made the place feel darker, she had a feeling it had to do with the dark guild they were on their way to fight. Feeling pressure on her head Lyn glanced up to see Fang had landed on her, he looked just as uneasy as she felt.

Her eyes wandered over to Ash who was walking ahead confidently and smiled slightly, Ash seemed to not be scared of anything she always dove headfirst without worrying about her safety, it made Lyn worry sometimes but she always came out fine in the end.

Ayslyn was pulled from her thoughts as a large worn down mansion came into view, most of it had already fallen apart and it had vines crawling up the sides of the house, most of the windows were broken but the door seemed to of been fixed recently, glancing at each other the girls made their way inside being careful not to make noise, sniffing the air the girls made their way down the hallway that seemed to have a lower amount of dust.

glancing down Ash saw the dirt on the ground had been recently disturbed, tilting her head her advanced hearing picked up the sound of chatter not too far from where they were walking, Ash looked back at her twin and with her nod and a quick whisper for the exceeds to stay back they made their way towards the door, once they got there the two could hear quite a bit of talking, Ash glanced at her twin before opening the door and walking in, her silver eyes scanning the room they landed on the fairly large group of people.

there was also a large amount of crates filled with food and everyday items as well as some rather fancy looking items like jeweled vases and necklaces, the room quieted as the two walked in the air steadily became tense as the guild members stared at the two, Ash grinned at she stared at what she guessed was 20-25 people and placed a hand on her hip

"it seems you lot have been causing some trouble to those poor people" raising an eyebrow her silver eyes challenging "that's illegal you know" Ash watched as the wizards stood up and made their way over, the rooms filled with different types of magic as they got ready to attack, grinning Ash lunged forward her hand engulfed in ice and punched a man in the face, quickly ducking down she avoided a blast of fire from her left, spinning around she smirked as her eyes landed on the fire wizard. leaning down she placed her hands on the ground her eyes not leaving his and said "ice make, prison"

As the prison crashed down a man went flying past, Ash turned to smirk at her twin as she encased another wizard in a stone prison, meeting her sisters eyes Lyn gave her a small smile before going after another wizard wielding lightning, dodging a blast of lightning Ayslyn rolled to the right and quickly pulling herself up pulled in some air "earth dragons rumbling roar!" letting out a brown whirlwind with flecks of dark green, she let out a sigh as it threw the man across the room. She let out a squeak of surprise as a blast of water hit her.

Her silver eyes turned towards the woman controlling water and frowned before slamming her hands onto the ground "earth dragons vine entrapment!" suddenly vines shot up from the ground and wrapped around the woman before pulling her down to the ground and holding her there.

Ash dodged another blast of magic before throwing a fist at a wizard coming up behind her "ice dragons, frozen fist!" her hand made contact and she could hear the crack of the woman's nose breaking, her grin never leaving her face.

It took them a while but eventually the two girls defeated the wizards, and after tying them up for he magic council to come take they made their way out, Ash studied her sister for any injuries as Fang flew down into her arms, besides some specks of dirt most likely caused by her earth magic Ash nodded a satisfied smile on her face.

It had gotten dark out during the fight and the girls were feeling tired as they made their way towards the mayors house, both letting out small yawns. Soon enough the two girls found themselves back inside the mans house as he thanked them while sobbing which cause some snot ran out his nose, much to Ashtrids disgust. She tensed up when the man grabbed her arms and her eyes flashed dangerously before Ayslyn pulled her back out of his reach.

"your welcome but we really must be going sir"

nodding he handed her the jewels while still crying out thank yous, giving him a small smile Ayslyn pulled her sister out of the house, the exceeds behind them. as they made it outside Ash let out a relieved sigh "honestly what is it random people grabbing me all the time" letting out a small giggle Ayslyn pulled her sister to the small hotel.

the two quickly fell asleep with their exceeds curled up against them, the next morning the small group made their way back onto the train although they did so begrudgingly and soon enough they were on their way home, back to Fairy Tail.

heyy i know its short but this was just a small chapter to start everything off and to show what the twins personalitys turned into over the years of being in fairy tail, as you can see Ash has opened up and Lyn is still fairly quiet.
