Anna waits patiently for Elsa to answer. There's only a few feet of space between them, and Anna desperately wishes for it to be fewer.

But she can't ask for that. It's not fair, not to Elsa. She has to be strong for her, has to be there for her.

Elsa doesn't need someone who is going to break down. Who is a burden. Not now.

Anna's so fucking greedy.

She's so greedy, when all Elsa wants – needs – is a friend.

She lost a child. Anna's desires pale in comparison.
