Somehow, they make it from the front door and to Elsa's room. Anna finds herself pushed down onto the bed, Elsa moving away.
"Wait here," Elsa says, her voice soft after the harsh sobs that had so recently filled the space.
And then, entirely unexpected, she leans forward and places a kiss on Anna's forehead.
It's almost enough to have her sobbing again. She doesn't; this time, she manages to hold herself together. As soon as Elsa returns, she speaks.
"I'm sorry..." she says, voice hoarse. The bed dips.
"You don't have to be."
