Elsa goes into labour two weeks after New Year's.
Anna's at work when it happens. She gets a frantic, tearful phone call from Elsa. As much as she'd wanted to have a home birth... things had changed. Elsa sounds terrified of not being at a hospital, and Anna can't blame her.
Neither have ever been so grateful that the apartment is close to where Anna works.
"Get your bag, okay? I'm leaving work now. I'll be ten minutes."
