I don't own KFP
The training hall was alive with the battle cries of warriors, and the sound of shattering wood. Viper's whip like body danced gracefully across the Fields of Fiery Death, her years of training helping her to evade the flames. Mantis flew around the Gauntlet of Wooden Warriors, a blur to the untrained eyes. Crane flew above the gliding through the Seven Swinging Clubs of instant Oblivion, occasionally deflecting them with a powerful beat of his wings.
Occasionally the masters would venture into the other elements of the training hall challenging the animal occupying the area. There was a semblance of the rhythm to their attacks, years of training making them well acquainted with the others fighting style. Their training session was cut short by shouting loud enough to be heard inside the busy training hall.
The four masters paused in their training meeting on the deck before the entrance.
"What do you think they're fighting about this time?" Viper asked an air of concern in her voice.
"I don't know, but I vote we go find out."
"I second that." Mantis said as he hopped onto Monkey's shoulder.
"It can hurt to find out." Crane said with a hint of shame in his at the thought of spying on his friends. Though if they're shouting that loud that can't really be expecting privacy. Crane thought to himself trying to alleviate his guilt.
Viper rolled her eyes but didn't protest as she followed the male masters out of the training hall. They were shocked at the sight that greeted them. The panda and tiger in question stood chest to chest, more like chest to belly, glaring at each other. Po stood two inches over Tigress and was using all of it to glare down at the irate tiger. Tigress unintimidated by his height returned the glare, her lips pulled back in a snarl and a low growl rumbling in her chest. They said nothing but their glares were filled with the heat of a thousand suns.
"What do you think this is about." Mantis asked his voice low to keep, as no to interrupt the stare down in front of them.
"Like I said before I don't know."
"Maybe we should ask them." Viper offered just as quietly.
"I feel like that would end poorly for us."
"I'm gonna do it." Monkey said with a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.
"What-"
Monkey's raised voice was cut off by Crane wrapping his wing around his mouth. Crane glared at him, and mouthed shut up. Monkey sighed but nodded and Crane dropped his wing from around the primates mouth. The four masters stood in silence watching the stare down between the panda and the tiger, before Mantis chimed in.
"Hey do you guys smell that?" The remaining three masters looked at Mantis before scenting the air. They gave the bug confused looks before speaking.
"Smell what?"
"I don't smell anything."
Viper looked over to Crane who shook his head in confusion and shrugged. Mantis raised his arms and pointed to Po and Tigress.
"The scent of sexual tension in the air."
There was a moment of silence before Mantis and Monkey burst out into loud laughter. Crane and Viper held out longer until they saw the reddened faces of the panda and tiger. The sounds of their laughter joining Monkey and Mantis.
Po and Tigress broke apart the heat in their checks apparent even with Tigress's orange fur. The tiger collected herself first and turned her fiery glare to Mantis.
"You have five seconds."
She growled, lowering herself to all fours in preparation for a chase.
"I'm so screwed." Mantis said to himself before launching himself off of Monkey's shoulder in the opposite direction of the tiger master.
