A/N: Thank you so much for reviews and your patience with this story. It has been a hectic summer with lots of work and other stuff and not much time for writing. I had a hard time trying to decided what to add to this part and what to the next one, but then I just decided to get it over with and conclude this one. Hope you like it.

And special thanks for Bronze for the most strong-minded opinion regarding Dumbledore that I have ever heard. :D

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter

The rest of the year went by quickly and soon school was over again. In Sky's opinion the past months had been the best in his life so far, regardless of the fact that he still had to endure boring lessons and Dumbledore's presence at the school. His relationships both with his sister and Dora were going well. He learned more and more things about Emily every day and their bond grew strong. They got to know and learned to trust each other, telling each other about their lives. There were fights of course, often about stupid things, but they were part of the sibling relationship as Sky was learning, and the two always made up sooner or later. Sky also started to train his sister so that she'd be able to properly defend herself, after all, the risk of her true identity of being exposed was great.

With Dora things were… amazing. Sky hadn't truly realized how much of a burden it actually had been to keep so many things from her until he had been freed of it. It felt good to be now able to speak to her about everything. Their dating relationship had come naturally. Not much really had changed. They were still as close as ever, but there were more romantic aspects added in, like kissing and their outings had turned into dates.

During the months after Christmas Dora's relationship with her father had also improved. Sky knew it still wasn't the best but he knew that Mr. Tonks was trying – they both were. Change wasn't something that came easily to most people and it would take time for him to accept his daughter full as she was, but Sky was optimistic. Mr. Tonks had made the effort to even get to know him and had grudgingly accepted him as Dora's boyfriend after threatening him with bodily harm if he ever hurt his little girl.

Now though, Sky was on his way to Marcus' office having received summons from a fellow agent.

"I have a new mission for you Sky." Marcus said as soon as Sky was seated.

"You're pulling me out of Hogwarts?" Sky asked surprised.

"Yes. Remus has been invited to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for the next year and with Dora and Emily among the students Hogwarts is covered. We have a better use for your skill set."

"Okay so what's the mission?" Sky asked his feelings mixed. He was relieved he didn't have to waste his time on classes playing a dumb kid but on the other hand Dora and his sister would still be there.

"It requires going undercover." Marcus said studying Sky to see what he thought of the idea, but Sky kept his face blank.

"For how long?" He asked simply.

"Could be a month, two months, a year even." Marcus said honestly.

"What's the objective?" Sky said still not giving anything way though Marcus knew he wasn't happy about it.

"To make yourself known all around the wizarding world. To make the Death Eaters fear you and the public respect you if possible – let Voldemort know there is a force opposing him. You will give hope to the people and encourage them to stand against Voldemort and his minions or at the very least not to join them. We are going to expose him for what he really is and take his forces apart from the inside as much as from the outside."

"You mean to kill them." Sky asked bluntly not willing to beat around the bush.

Marcus sighed. "Unfortunately our prisons won't be able to hold them. The Dementors joined him during the last war too – we cannot take that risk this time. So yes, I mean to kill them."

Sky nodded his face still remaining blank.

"I will not force you to accept this mission, son." Marcus said. "I know how you feel about taking lives and I'm not fond of it either…"

"But I'm the best you've got." Sky finished for him. They were silent for a moment till he continued. "I agree with you in principle – war is a war and people die, like it or not Voldemort's elite needs to be taken care of but what about those that were forced?"

Marcus nodded. "That is one of the reason I want you to do this. You have the skills and knowledge to detect whether someone is being forced or not. You are one of the few able to recognize when the Imperius curse is being used and further you don't have the prejudices guiding your judgement like most of our agents have from the first war."

Sky nodded in understanding before sighing.

"Fine, I'll do it." He said.

"Thank you Sky." Marcus said sincerely.

Sky nodded.

"What about what we discussed after Christmas? Is there anything new on that front?"

"Yes, that is something else I wanted to talk to you about." Marcus said. "Our research division was able create a ritual which allowed us to detect how many he made and what they are."

"And?"

"Seven."

"Sick bastard." Sky muttered in disgust. He had been the one to find out about Horcruxes to begin with during Christmas time when he finally had the time to figure out the Philosopher's Stone.

Flashback

Sky had been locked up in his room at Lux Manerium for two days before he erected triumphant.

"I knew it!" He exclaimed as he entered the living room making Marcus, Sirius and Remus turn to look at him.

"Knew what?" Sirius asked curious.

"There's no Philosopher's Stone, it's a hoax!"

"What?!"

"It's not real! There's no life-elixir or ability to turn anything gold. The Flamels have fooled us all."

"But then how do you explain the Flamels' long-life? They must be nearing 600 by now." Remus asked.

Sky grew serious at that.

"You're not gonna like this." He warned. "The Philosopher's Stone is nothing more than a piece of a rock, which was used for dark magic. It's a Horcrux."

"What's a Horcrux?" Sirius asked. Not even Marcus had ever heard of it.

"Horcrux is an object that has a piece of someone's soul stored into it. To split your soul, to create a Horcrux you must commit the ultimate act of evil; murder an innocent. The person who has split their soul cannot die until the Horcrux is destroyed."

"Merlin!"

"The Flamels did that?" Remus asked horrified. He had always admired the alchemist and his work. To hear that he had went to such lengths to gain immorality…

"You do understand what this means…?" Marcus stated.

"It means that Voldemort made a Horcrux."

End of Flashback

A few weeks after that Sky had stumbled onto some papers from the first war on Marcus' desk. One of them had been a parchment written in Parseltongue which according to Marcus was delivered by Agent Black Star right before he died, his undercover mission among the death eaters going to south. The Unspeakables had never been able to interpret its meaning as no-one understood the language of serpents until Sky. From the parchment Sky found out that Voldemort had made more than one Horcrux. From the last message the department had received from Regulus it was deduced that he had been killed by Voldemort himself for destroying one of them – the Slytherin's locket – which Sirius then confirmed by visiting his childhood home and finding what remained of the locket.

It had been a great moment for Sirius to find out his little brother had been a spy for the DoM and not a supporter like their parents.

The problem with the Horcruxes remained that they had no idea how many had been made, what they were and where to find them. Sky guessed correctly that the diary had been one of them and with that the research section of the DoM had been able to create a ritual which identified them all.

"So what are they?"

"Slytherin's locket, Hufflepuff's cup, Ravenclaw's diadem, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, a snake called Nagini, the diary and you."

"Me?" Sky asked shocked.

"Yes." Marcus said. "During the night he failed to kill you, he survived because of his Horcruxes and the remaining soul-piece latched onto the closest living thing…"

"Me."

"Yes."

"Is it still there?"

"No." Marcus said confidently. "I believe the Phoenixes destroyed it when they helped you heal."

Sky nodded relieved.

"So now what? How do we know where to find them?"

"We need to try to think like him. We need to get inside his head and figure out where he would hide them. Three of them have already been taken care of thanks to you and Black Star."

Sky nodded thoughtfully thinking of what he had learned of Voldemort.

"He would want to keep those things as close to him as possible without making it obvious." He mused. "I imagine he'd have given some to his closest followers… Not that they'd know what they were. The diary came from Malfoy after all. The Lestranges and Mallorys are strong possibilities. It's also possible he'd have one at Hogwarts."

"Yes. Those are most likely places. I believe that we need to search into his past to find them all." Marcus said.

Sky nodded. "He's quite sentimental in some cases. He collected trophies even as a child from those who he bullied."

Marcus nodded. "Well I'll have Remus and Sirius as well as some of the Team Five to search into it. You concentrate on your upcoming mission."

"Yes, sir!" Sky saluted him cheekily.

"So when do I leave?"

A/N: So this concludes PART 2. I know I know it's awfully short but it felt like a good place to leave it. Anyways thanks for reading and please reviews and tell me what you think.

The next chapter will be kinda epilogue/prologue for PART 2 and 3 so it will be super short but I have already started working on the first chapter for PART 3 which will be longer.

Thanks,

- Dalnim
