Hello everyone! It's been a while, hasn't it? To all of my readers in America, I hope you're having a wonderful holiday today.
Since it's summer vacation, I had so much time to write and I'm actually excited and inspired for most of it, that's why I am able to have a lot of chapters at the ready. If you don't know, I'm focusing more on this story since I'm almost at the end of it.
The poll on my profile has finally closed and since it was a tie, I decided to go for the choice I found the most interesting. However, there is a second chance! I posted another poll for more so don't forget to check it out!
And for the review(s)!
Skarmory21: Thank you for your kind words! I'll try my best to update as often as I can!
Disclaimer: I don't own any part of Pokemon or the song below. I don't even own anything I refer to, except for my OCs of course.
You don't have to spend your life looking backwards
We've been through this over and over again
You can't just wish it away
The past is the past it will never change
That was before, this is now
And when we have a chance to make it better if we try
Chapter Eleven
Alice's POV
The cruise finally docked in Vermillion and I parted ways with Ruby and Sapphire. They continued on to Sinnoh while I got off. My best bet now would be Saffron. It's a large city, so I could probably find a cheap place to stay for the time being. I'm tired of constant traveling. I want to finally relax.
As I was leaving the port area, I ran into a familiar face. Well, voice more like it.
"Move it, you punks!" I looked up to see Lt Surge yelling at some poor sailors. "You're not getting paid to laze around!"
I stopped once he saw me. He walked over. I could see Absol and Lucario get on guard, but I settled them down.
"Well, I didn't expect to see you here." He sighed.
"Likewise." I nodded. "I'm guessing you're not under suspicion?"
"Course not!" he laughed. "I still have a job I want to keep. Where are you up to now?"
"Heading to Saffron," I answered. "I finished getting some stuff settled for now. I just need a place to lay low until the pressure is off."
"Understandable." He nodded. "I have some time off for a bit. Want me to escort you to Saffron?"
"I'll be fine." I shook my head. "You may have forgotten who I was."
"Right." He sighed. "Welp, see you. Don't bother telling me your name. It's better that I not know." He said as he walked off.
That guy always pissed me off. Lucario scowled.
"It doesn't matter now. No one can do anything." I told her as I continued walking. I decided to spend the day in Vermillion at least. Despite us just getting off a cruise, a day on land is the thing I need to help settle my stomach.
I haven't been throwing up as much since the end of the cruise, but it comes and goes. I checked into the Pokémon Center and set up my stuff in my room. I went for a walk outside with the rest of my pokémon.
There was a small spot near the edge of the city where I was able to let Blastoise swim in the ocean and Charizard and Venusaur sleep in the sun. Pikachu played on top of Blastoise with the sisters while Absol looked after her. Lucario and Gallade wandered off somewhere, but I left them alone.
I ended up buying some ice cream for everyone. I sat on the edge, hanging my feet over the ocean. I watched the three pokémon play on top of Blastoise while trying to calm my stomach with the orange popsicle I brought for myself.
It was such a peaceful day. I don't remember the last time I could relax and breathe like this while at the base. It was always work. I was constantly training or on missions. I didn't know why I was following orders mindlessly. I never noticed how bored and depressed my pokémon were until we escaped. I never saw them this happy before. It makes me regret pushing them to the limit.
We stayed there until evening. I returned the larger three and let the others walk with me. I found a pokémon-friendly café in the middle of a park and had dinner there. I'm in that beginning phase of weird cravings so I'm sure both my pokémon and the waiter were unsettled by the combination of spicy chocolate and a spring salad.
I had no regrets since it was delicious to me. Night fell quickly and after we finished eating, I decided to go on a stroll around the city. It was nice to see the city lights at night. I was on my way to the center when I heard fireworks. I looked towards the docks to see fireworks launching from the boats.
I smiled. Children were running towards the docks, hoping to see the fireworks closer. Somehow, I could imagine myself amongst the crowd of parents watching over their children running happily. My son or daughter would grab my hand, pulling me towards the dock and I let them think they're stronger. I would sit with them at the water's edge, admiring the fireworks together with my child.
I could almost feel a tear coming but I held it back. I only have to wait a few more months and maybe I'll learn what it will feel like to have something to love.
I settled on sitting down on a bench, watching the fireworks. I let my pokémon out in the park again and we all watched the festivities together. Slowly, I could see lights from stalls coming to life. I didn't notice them during the day.
"Can we head back to the center?" Espeon jumped on the bench next to me.
"Why? I thought you wanted to see the fireworks." I replied.
"Of course we do! And the popup festival too! But Sis and I want to dress up for it." She answered.
"She means she wants you to spend money to buy accessories for everyone." Umbreon joined us.
I sighed and rolled my eyes, but I couldn't argue. I went up to a stall selling pokémon accessories and bought one for each of my pokémon. With that done, I went back to the center to dress them all up.
Once I got outside again, I got changed into a yukata I brought while in Mahogany. It was a simple white one with faded blue petals scattered on it and settling at the bottom while it grew in saturation. There were a blue obi and a matching fan and bag.
Espeon and Umbreon were wearing red bows with a star for Espeon and a crescent moon for Umbreon in the middle. Espeon had hers on the right ear and Umbreon on her left. Pikachu got a black ribbon to match mines and Absol received a set of black cuffs for her paws. Lucario received a black vest and Gallade got a black capelet.
I couldn't let my three starters out but I got something for each of them as well. For Charizard, a pair of silver cuffs for his horns which he asked for. Blastoise wanted a pair of sunglasses for some reason, so I got a pair for him. Venusaur just wanted a lei of flowers which was simple enough, so I got that for him as well.
With everyone dressed up in what they wanted, we headed towards the stalls. The fireworks have stopped for now, but I know there will be more soon. It was still the early evening so we had plenty of time to enjoy the festival.
My pokémon wandered off on their own. Gallade and Lucario went together while Absol went to oversee the sisters. I was left with Pikachu for the time being.
"Is it bad that I miss this?" I asked her as I was walking among the crowds. Everywhere I look, people were smiling and laughing. They were in pairs or groups. They all had friends.
"Pi?" she asked. She was situated on my shoulder. "Pi!" she poked my face.
"Maybe I should just stop thinking so hard, huh?" I laughed. There was a stall with a man selling Magikarp.
"Come one! Come all! Come buy a fine Magikarp for just 500 PKD!" he slapped his paper fan on his stall. A bunch of kids has gathered around. I could see he had a tank full of Magikarp behind him.
"Hey, mister! You're scamming! Everyone knows that Magikarp are weak!" one kid yelled and pointed.
"What do mean, young man?" the seller said. "Magikarp don't have to be for training! They also make a great meal!"
I heard a gasp coming from some of the kids. Another one was about to cry.
"Magikarp aren't weak! And they're not for food either!" a girl cried out.
"Well, do you have the money to buy one to save?" the seller asked.
"Um, no?"
"Then get out of there you brats! You're ruining my business!"
I sighed. This was too much. These were up-and-coming trainers. Perhaps I could use this as a lesson for them.
"Excuse me." I walked up to the stall.
"Hello, there miss! Would you like a Magikarp?" he asked.
I counted how many kids there were quick. "I'll take eight," I told him, heading him the money.
"Very good!" he clapped. He took the money and gave me eight pokéballs. "Here you are, good miss!"
I thanked him and kneeled so I was eye to eye with the group of kids. "Here," I handed each of them a pokéball. "Treat these pokémon with kindness. A pokémon will only be weak if you believe it to be. Even a Magikarp can be strong one day." I smiled.
"Thank you miss!" they chorused.
"But why are you doing this to us?" the boy from earlier asked.
"Let's just say everyone deserves a second chance. These Magikarp can't live a life if misery in a tank. They deserve loving trainers to take care of them." I said. I motioned all of them closer. "Between you and me, Magikarp can evolve in Gyarados which I'm sure is a super strong pokémon. Just tell your parents a kind stranger did this for you. I only ask you to pay it forward. Be kind to someone else today."
"Wow! I'm so excited now!" the girl squealed. They all ran off with a new pokémon in hand. I stood up and glared at the stall's owner.
"As for you." I frowned. "Scamming people in one thing, but kids? Now that's low. I'll be sure to notify the festival's organizers about your 'business' here and what you're telling people." I warned him.
"Ack!" he flinched as I slammed my hand on the stall. "I'm sorry, but I'm closed!" with that, he ran off from his stall.
"People these days." I sighed. I found an organizer and told them about the Magikarp salesman. Apparently, they didn't agree for him to set up shop, but he still did. They took down the stall quickly and rescued the Magikarp.
With that finished, I walked around some more. A stall was selling some taiyaki ice cream in the shape of a Magikarp, so I got two and gave one to Pikachu.
As I was wandering through the festival grounds, I could somehow feel someone watching me from afar. It made me very uncomfortable. I looked around every so often, but there were too many people to tell who was looking at me. I even closed my eyes sometimes to try to sense their aura, but there were too many to distinguish and focus.
"Hey Pikachu," I asked her as I was walking. "Can you see if there's anyone following us? I'm going around the food stalls a few times before heading towards the docks. Tell me if they're someone who's always there."
"Pi." She nodded.
I proceeded with my plan. I met up with Gallade and Lucario and I told them of what I was planning. They agreed to help. Lucario stayed with me at my side while Gallade stayed back a few meters to see if anyone followed us. It'll be a good plan to corner whoever it was.
I walked around the food stalls twice before checking in with Pikachu. "Anyone?" I asked.
"Pikapi." She said.
She has a suspicion. Lucario translated. I nodded. Gallade has been seeing someone as well.
"Time to go to the docks then," I muttered. "Can you tell Gallade to tell Espeon and the others?"
Lucario nodded and silently, I walked over to the docks. I could hear the beginning of the fireworks. People were making their way to the docks at the same time I was.
They're behind with Gallade. Lucario told me. I nodded. There was a spot where there were a few people. I walked towards there. Soon, we were at the edge of the city and away from most of the festivities. I stopped at the water's edge. I could clearly hear footsteps behind me now. It wasn't too near, but still close enough to see me from a distant.
"Tell Gallade to launch an attack forward," I told Lucario as I was still facing the ocean. She nodded. Within seconds, I could hear Gallade's attack and a person jumping forward. I turned quickly around, and Pikachu sent a small Thunderbolt their way. The person quickly fell to the ground, paralyzed.
"It's not nice to follow people around," I told the figure. The rest of my pokémon came out of the shadows. Pikachu jumped off my shoulder and down on the ground. We had the stalker cornered. I couldn't see his face, but he was wearing a red leather jacket with some black jeans. His messy brown hair was only kept out of his face with a pair of white goggles.
I could see that the guy was having trouble getting up. Maybe even speaking.
"Uh, maybe you should've taken a look at his face before doing anything else," Espeon told me.
"Yeah, as if this encounter couldn't be any more awkward," Umbreon added.
"What are you two talking about?" I sighed.
"Heh, perhaps I should've said something earlier." The figure snickered.
I froze at the spot. It can't be him. I haven't traveled far since the fall of Team Rocket, but members have all scattered around the globe. He can't be here. "Dan?" I gasped.
"Mind helping me out here, princess?" he lifted his head up. I could see his face in pain from the paralysis.
I was at odds with myself. I wanted to turn over a new leaf for the sake of my child, but at the same time, I'm not sure if I wanted to face him. I placed a hand over my stomach. I still didn't know if it's his. The other hand was clutched in a fist unable to make up my mind of what to do.
I was comfortable around Ruby and Sapphire since they were just friends. With Dan, I don't know what to do now.
I say just leave him if you're so unsure. Lucario placed a paw on my shoulder.
"You just want to leave him paralyzed?" Gallade asked.
It'll wear off. Lucario retorted. And you haven't been with us long enough to know the history.
"Gallade, teleport us back to the center," I told him.
"But what about-?"
"Bring him too. I have some words for him." I nodded. With that, we all landed back in my room in the center.
Lucario and Gallade propped Dan up in a chair and guarded him on either side. I went into the bathroom to get changed while the paralysis wore off. I couldn't help but shake as I got changed. I haven't met him ever since that day the base burned down and I won't forget the last time I saw his eyes. Full of fear of what I had become.
I took a deep breath, but the taste of bile rose in my throat. I kneeled over the toilet, throwing up whatever I ate while I was out. I rinsed out my mouth with some water and took a prenatal vitamin. I forgot to take one earlier and now I need to buy more. I found the energy to stand up after my stomach was emptied.
I finished changing and walked out to meet with Dan. He was still in the chair, but Gallade was the only one guarding him. Lucario had to come in to help me while I was throwing up.
"Okay, now tell me why you were following me?" I asked. I crossed my arm and leaned against the wall. I felt my stomach churned, but I was able to keep it settled.
"I was just enjoying the festival when I saw some familiar white hair." He shrugged. It seemed like the paralysis wore off quickly.
"Anyone can have white hair." I retorted.
"But not every one of them has a Pikachu." He shot back. When he said that, Pikachu sent a small shock at him. "Ouch!"
"It's still not a good idea to mock my pokémon," I warned him. "But why continue following me? All it does is make you a stalker."
"So be it." He shrugged. "But I just wanted to talk."
"Then you could've talked," I replied. "No need for all of this then."
"Then can you call off your guard then?" he asked.
"I still don't trust you after you stalked me." I snapped.
"Point taken." He sighed. "But can we just talk now? That's all I wanted was to talk."
Even after all that happened so far, I found myself unable to face him again. I told I had the courage to speak to him again, but that strength faded within a mere few seconds. The fear in me made my heart beat faster. Soon enough, I could feel myself shaking again, the familiar taste of bile rising in my throat again. I told Gallade to teleport him away. I left him with no answers, but I'm not even sure if I have the answers to any of his questions myself.
"You know, if you guys ever get tired, you can rest in your pokéballs," I told my pokémon as we hiked over a hill. We left Vermillion that morning and headed out for Saffron early. We would arrive later in the afternoon.
"Milady, I'm fine. If anything, it's actually refreshing to be outside." Gallade said. He was walking next to Lucario again.
"He's right! It's so cramped in those things!" Espeon said as she bounced around in front of me.
"We get a chance to stretch our legs and play with each other." Umbreon chimed in as Espeon tried to pounce on her. She dodged in time.
I could only sigh and smile. They're right. I wouldn't let them be chained and confined like a monster. Once we got to the top of the hill, I could see Saffron City in the distant. It wasn't that far away, and it was our salvation. I always could've gone to another region and hide out in a large city there, but I've never gone to any other region. I wouldn't know where to go or what to do. Kanto is the only home I know.
I couldn't exactly go far either without changing my identity. The only chance I had was Kanto. Staying in the largest city is the closest to seclusion I can get.
I know it takes most people a few days to reach Saffron from Vermillion, but that was before they established roadways between cities for easier travel. People used to figure out their way from a map, but they often get lost. It's easier now to find cities or towns. I'm thankful for that since I'm not sure if I was able to last long without a trashcan to throw up in while I'm pregnant.
I entered the city with no problem and immediately headed towards the closest Pokémon Center to rest. My plan was to find an apartment to stay in and just walk around to take in the sights. I haven't been able to sightsee much before joining Team Rocket or even during missions. I was always in the base.
I sighed as I sat down on a bench in the center's lobby. My pokémon were getting a checkup so I had a moment to myself. I looked up at the television in the lobby. The news coverage about Rocket's fall was dwindling down. The only reminding memory of that was the occasional reminder to report any information on any former Rocket. There have been some who were caught, but overall, everyone was still in hiding.
I haven't been in contact with anyone other than Ruby, Sapphire, Dan, and maybe Surge if he counts. I shared numbers with Ruby and Sapphire, but I wouldn't want to risk them and their happiness but constantly contacting them. It's better to leave them to their own devices and not involve them with me.
I wanted to know how Jade and Garnet are doing as well, but I know I have no right too. The four of them joined Team Rocket only to escape their toxic family, but I dragged them in with my actions and I don't want them to suffer for what I did.
"Miss Aika, your pokémon are all healed." I heard the intercom crackle to life. I stood up from my seat and walked over to the counter. I accepted my pokémon and left the center.
I had Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise hidden in my bag. People would get suspicious if they saw nine pokéballs with me when only six are allowed for any trainer. I didn't know where to start looking for an apartment. I guess I'll just start walking around, hoping for a listing to show up somewhere.
Eventually, it was time for a late lunch, so I stopped by a café in a park for food. Everyone was in their pokéballs other than Pikachu of course. I couldn't have everyone out in a big city. I sat at a table, eating a panini filled with all types of toasted vegetable while Pikachu had a medley of berries in front of her.
I looked at my pokégear for any listings online, but the ones I found were all too expensive. I knew Team Rocket paid me well I had enough to stay at any of those apartments for a few months, years even, but it would be too suspicion if a young girl just showed up and rented an apartment with enough money to pay a few months ahead. I can't risk it.
As I finished eating, I got a call on my pokégear. I looked and it was an unknown number. I frowned. I know I didn't give anyone my number other than Ruby and Sapphire, but I felt like I should pick it up.
Against, my better judgment, I did. "Hello?"
"Please meet me at my gym." It was Sabrina's voice.
"What the-? How did you get my number?" I asked her.
"I'll explain. Just please. I'll be waiting." She said quietly before she hung up.
I sighed before hanging up. I looked towards Pikachu and saw that Espeon and Umbreon popped out of their pokéballs while I was eating. The three of them already finished their food.
"What's the matter?" Espeon asked as she flicked her tail.
"I really didn't want to deal with any other gym leader today." I groaned before calling the waitress over. I paid my check and left a tip. My three pokémon followed behind me as I made my way over to the gym.
Espeon led the way as we walked through the streets. It only took us a few minutes to get to the gym. When I grabbed the door handles, they wouldn't budge.
"First she tells me to come, but her gym is locked." I signed. I was about to turn around when the doors in front of me opened up slowly, revealing the dark interior of the gym. I looked towards Espeon.
"It wasn't me!" she exclaimed as she hid behind my leg. "I swear! It was Sabrina!"
I looked back towards the darkness. Immediately, the lights lit up the inside, showing the golden walls and a throne at the end with Sabrina sitting in it.
"Please come in," she said. I had no other choice. I walked in and the doors closed right behind me. Pikachu got scared so she jumped into my arms.
The other two hid behind my legs as I walked up to Sabrina. "Do you have to scare my pokémon? I think they already suffered enough." I glared at her.
"My apologies. I'm so used to getting challengers I forgot to change my gym when I'm simply having visitors." Sabrina said as she stood up. "I believe you're looking for a place to stay?"
"First off, how did you even know that I was in the city?" I stopped her. I'm used to a lot of weird things, but this was just creepy.
"I sensed something familiar when you entered the city. I had Alakazam scan the city and found out that you were here. He traced your phone number and I called you." She explained. Yeah, definitely not creepy at all.
"Somehow, I should be used to this." I sighed. "Okay then, so what did you need to say?"
"I'm here to offer you a place to stay." She answered. "I have an old friend who is a landlady. She owns a series of apartment complexes throughout the city. If you're looking for a place to stay, she would be your best bet." A business card appeared in front o me. I took it.
"Miyamoto Musashi?" I read the name out loud.
"She's someone I trust." Sabrina nodded. "I'm sure you'll be safe with her along with your child."
My head immediately snapped up. "How do you know?" I asked her.
"Other then your mind, I sense another one forming within you." She answered. "Honestly, I understand your need to stay hidden. A family is a responsibility. With your record, I wouldn't want anyone else to be dragged down. I wish you the best with you and your child."
I could ask her about the father, but did I really want to know? Do I want to be reminded of my mistakes? No, I shouldn't say that. My child is mines alone and I can handle the burden. I'll see when they're born.
"How do you handle Rocket and your personal life?" I asked her instead. "Aren't you haunted by the things you've done?"
I could see that Sabrina took a moment to answer. "Long before I became a gym leader, I was a Rocket at first. Years in the team and I guess it took its toll on me. I used to be a cheerful young girl, but the pressure of my psychic abilities and Team Rocket probably pushed me to the point where I didn't care about anything else. It wasn't until a certain trainer came in was when I was able to see what life truly was. I became a drone for Team Rocket, mindlessly doing whatever they tell me to."
I absorbed her words in. She was a mindless drone? I shivered at the thought. I heard of how Sabrina used to be as a gym leader, but I realized that I was about to be like her. I was just doing whatever Madame Boss was telling me to do and I did enough sins to banish me from this world forever.
"Perhaps that was why I was so interested in you." Sabrina continued. "I know we never got on good terms, but I wish to change that if you allow it."
"Sabrina, I understand." I nodded. "You're probably the best one to help me out now. Especially since I have one of the highest bounties on my head. And you did save me from the base. I wasn't in the right place of mind back then. I have to thank you for that."
"I would hate to see a person with so much talent be wasted away." Sabrina sighed.
"Well, thank you, I guess." I sighed.
"You must be tired. Go on and visit Miyamoto." Sabrina said, flicking her wrist, I looked back to see the doors open. "She'll make sure you'll remind safe." I nodded and said goodbye to her. As soon as I stepped outside, the doors closed, and the lights turned off. Classic Sabrina.
"Are you really going to see that woman?" Espeon asked.
"What other choice do I have?" I replied.
"I don't care what you do. That Sabrina girl was creepy enough." Umbreon said.
I looked back at the business card in my hand. There wasn't a number, but only an address. I tried following the address, but it only led me to an alley between two houses. Sabrina said this woman owns several apartment complexes in the city, but I haven't seen many so far.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Umbreon asked.
"I may not get along with Sabrina, but if she trusts this woman, then so do I." I sighed. "Espeon, can you sense anything?"
"I'm getting something faint, but something is blocking it." She replied.
"Well, at least this woman is smart." I sighed as I placed the card away. I pulled out my pokégear and turned on the flashlight on it. The light barely illuminated the dark alley. It certainly didn't help that it was beginning to turn dark. The streetlights didn't even reach the depths of the alley.
With my pokémon at my side, I stepped into the dim corridor. Slowly, I made my way deeper in. It seems like the farther I go, the darker it gets. Soon enough, the flashlight on my pokégear didn't even help at all. To converse battery, I turned it off and continued in the dark. I couldn't explain it, but I felt something watching me as I walked. The only assurance I had was Pikachu on my shoulder and the two eeveelutions on either side with their tails touching my legs every so often. There was a heavy air in the alley, making it harder to breathe.
Eventually, I felt the presence leave and I was able to breathe easily. When that happened, I could see a light at the end of the alley. I walked faster, hoping for someone to be there. When I reached the light, there was an entire neighborhood filled with apartment complexes. The light I was following was a single lamppost in the middle of it all.
Behind the light was a single house in the middle of the apartments. I looked at the card again and saw that it changed. Instead of the single address on the card was a picture of the same house. I looked at the house again; the lights were on, so someone must be home.
I had no other choice. I walked up to the house and even before ringing the doorbell, the door opened. In the doorway was a middle-aged woman. Her once purple hair developed silvery grey streaks. The waist-long hair curled inwards on either side. She was wearing a simple black blazer over a red dress shirt with matching black slacks and shoes. Her faces had subtle wrinkles, but her blue eyes still shined with life.
"So I see she sent me another one." The woman said. Her voice was sharp, yet kind. "Seems like you came just in time. It's not safe for a girl like you to be wondering a large city on your own."
"Excuse me, but are you Miyamoto Musashi?" I asked.
"You wouldn't be speaking to me if I wasn't." she grinned. "So what's your story, huh?"
"Story?" I asked. Things aren't making sense.
"Of course. Why do you think Sabrina sent you here? Every person who rent here has a story. Come in. We can talk over a cup of tea." She turned around and walked into the house.
I had no choice but to follow. I walked in and closed the door behind me. The house was small but cozy. The living room was small and only had a couch and television. A set of the stairs was on the other side, leading up to the second story. Directly ahead was a hallway connecting the kitchen to the living room.
I took off my shoes and walked into the kitchen. It was small with a table on one side of the room. Miyamoto was standing at the stove, boiling a pot of water.
"Sit down." She told me. "I'll get something for your pokémon too. What kind of tea do you want?"
"Green is fine," I answered as I sat down in a chair. My pokémon shared another next to me. After a few minutes, Miyamoto came to the table with a tea set and three bowls of berries. She set the bowls in front of my pokémon and sat opposite of me. She poured me a cup of tea and I let it warm my hands.
"Okay then. You don't seem to be the type to join an evil syndication." Miyamoto said. "You must have an interesting story then."
"Why are you so interested in stories?" I asked.
"I haven't been able to see the world change, but I always want to see how people changed. Stories are how I learn and get to know them. I want to be entertained. I'm an old lady after all." She grinned.
"I see." I nodded.
"So let's start easy. Which team? Aqua? Magma? Flare? Wait, not Flare, you're too cute for that!" she laughed.
"Rocket," I answered. "I've been in Team Rocket for seven years."
"Oh. This should be good." She said. "Good on. I won't interrupt."
I know I shouldn't tell this stranger everything I went through, but somehow, I did. And I was glad I did. While I was talking, Miyamoto only nodded at some parts, but I could see her scowl at others. Especially when I mentioned Madame Boss. When I finished, she only stayed quiet until she sighed. When opened her mouth and only one question came out.
"Do you want to know my story now?"
A new face? Or a familiar voice? For those who don't know, Miyamoto's story and fate were explored in a Japanese radio drama, The Birth of Mewtwo. Later, parts of it were adapted into an anime special to put in front of Mewtwo Strikes Back.
If you want, you're free to research her story before the next chapter, but I'll try my best to sum it up the next chapter.
Since not much is known about her character, I took some creative liberty and I have to say, she was one of my favorite characters to write.
Anyways, I think that's all for now. Don't forget to leave a review to tell me what you think and also to check out the poll on my profile. Unlike the last one, I have a reason to leave this one for a very long time.
