POLICE ACADEMY TRAINING GROUNDS, THE BURROWS

2 YEARS AGO AFTER THE 9 YEARS SINCE THE RAINFOREST INCIDENT…

CHAPTER 1: GREAT START

Drill Sergeant: "Listen up, cadets. Zootopia has twelve unique ecosystems within it's city limits. TundraTown, Sahara Square, Rainforest District, Savannah Central, to name a few. Your gonna have to master all of them before you hit the streets, or guess what? You'll be dead! You think you can pull it off, Korhonen?!"

A wolverine was standing next to a wolf, almost about his height. Blue eyes, he looks pretty young; but has almost an appearance of a wolf except the brown fur and the light brown. He almost looks like a german shepherd.

Johnny: "Definitely."

Few minutes later, he completed his obstacles and he has one challenge left: Take down the biggest criminal such as Bears, Buffalo, Rhino, and Elephants in Zootopia.

Drill Sergeant: "Taking on Zootopia's toughest and strongest criminal! Johnny, let's see what you got!"

Johnny vs a bear named Bruno. Johnny dodged a few hits until he took a hit to the stomach, causing him to wheeze and cough. Johnny held his stomach in pain, but he swallowed the pain and punches him straight into his face, knocking him out. Johnny wins.

Johnny: "That's more like it."

Drill Sergeant: "I'm impressed, Johnny!"

After the Academy days were over, Johnny was now working at the heart of Zootopia. Z.P.D as a top S class from the Academy. As he entered Zootopia, he went to register for a apartment to stay and crash in. The Next Morning, Johnny puts on his uniform, including his badge and head out for his first assignment. As he walked inside the Police Department, He looked around the entire lobby, seeing new faces and feels like home to him. He approached a desk, seeing a big cheetah eating a bowl of cereal. What? A fastest animal in the land becomes the slowest? Didn't want to hurt his feelings, thinking what to say except greeting to him. He sees a name tag on his desk "Benjamin. C"

Johnny: "Uh, Hello sir?"

Benjamin: "Hmm?"

Johnny: "My name is Johnny Korhonen."

Benjamin: "OH… EM… Goodness! They really did send a S Class here. *he squeals* What! I gotta tell you, You are more than an a S Class than I thought you would be to me! How can a wolverine like you can be tall as a wolf?! Did you have different species like a wolf and a wolverine? What's it like being a hybrid? Are you mixed species?"

Johnny: "Uh... yeah, well, yeah. I am a mixed species. And I always get people questioning me about a mixed species like me doing here in Zootopia. So I guess that's a little…"

Benjamin gasps: "I'm so Sorry. Me, Benjamin Clawhauser. Just everyone who thinks a flabby donut loving cop, interrogating you. Oh…"

Clawhauser feels ashamed and guilty to the new guy in ZPD. Johnny thinks of a word to say.

Johnny: "No no no no, it's okay. Ooh ah... you have something..."

Benjamin: "What? Where?"

Johnny: "Right there, in your neck fold."

Benjamin grabs the donut out of his neck: "Oh, there you are, little dickins!" he eats the donut

Johnny: "Yeah, so about that meeting…"

Benjamin mouthful: "Oh yeah, The Bullpen's that way. I have to say, you and Nate almost look alike."

Johnny: "Thanks Clawhauser." he walks away to the bullpen

Benjamin watches him walk away in awe: "Awww... that poor wolverine is going to get killed."

Johnny walks in and sees Predators and Prey in the room. A Lion arm wrestling a Tiger but lost, A wolf whispering to a rhinoceros about Johnny. He sat down on his chair, next to a Rhinoceros and a Hippopotamus standing at the desk. Johnny looks at his family photo for a moment.

Hippo: "Attention!"

The Chief begins to walk in and the officers in the room were banging on the tables, chanting "Chief!"

Chief speaking a deep British accent: "Alright, Alright! Sit down everyone."

Everyone sat down. He places the files down with his clipboard and puts on his reading glasses

Chief: "Okay, first things first, we need to acknowledge the elephant in the room." He looks at the elephant. "Francine... Happy Birthday." They cheer and roar as well. "Next, we have new recruits here in Z.P.D that I won't read because... I don't care." They chuckled "Last, we have missing mammals all over Zootopia from the biggest Polar Bear, to a small tinsy little otter. I got things running up my tail to find them so this is Top Priority #1." He pulls out the files. "And not to mention, Sgt. Pakenham will be joining in on this case, and he is looking for another partner since most of his partners cower away and some aren't lucky to live. Whoever is feeling like being his partner, go ask him. Get in here, Pakenham."

A German Shepherd hybrid comes walking into the meeting room and looks around at everyone with a serious look. He looks a buff a little with those big muscles on him. He's like the only mammal in Zootopia that has dark and a bit of light in his hair. The German Shepherd was looking at them, one by one, thinking which partner he is getting but then he let out a sigh

Nathan: "Is this the best you can do, Chief? I can see it in their eyes. They are strong and tough, but they won't stand against the enemy like we ever fought besides criminals and gang members." He looks at Johnny. "You there, what's your name?"

They all look at Johnny

Johnny: "I'm Johnny Korhonen, sir"

Nathan: "What's your response about Z.P.D?"

Johnny: "I am willing to take on anything I come across with. I will do my best to keep everyone safe, even if I have a team, I am not going to let them down. And willing to become my father and my brother that was once in battle. And think of Z.P.D as my home."

Nathan: "Hmm…", He places an extra handgun that he kept, on the table and slides it to Johnny. "Don't let me down, let's go. Chief, we'll take the case. We're going to find Emmett Otterton in Savannah Central."

Chief: "Don't get killed out there, boys." He gives them the file "Delgato, Spitz, you two take the Rainforest District." They approached him as he gives them the file. "Higgins, Snarlof, Savannah Central," he gives them a file. "Francine, Link, and Fangmire, Tundratown."

They both walked out and met up with Benjamin at the desk

Clawhauser: "Hey Nate! Chief said that I am willing to support you both on this case."

Nathan: "Sounds good, Clawhauser. Do you know where he was last witnessed?"

Clawhauser: "Well, he was last seen at 29th Street, close to the Federal Building, 2 weeks ago."

Johnny: "Thanks, Clawhauser. We can check there. Here you go." He gives him a snickers bar.

Clawhauser: "Holy Sprinkles! Thanks, Johnny!" He begins to unwrap the bar and starts eating.

They left the station and began their investigation to find Emmett by any means necessary.

/Holy smokes! It has been like a year or two since I last posted a chapter! Sorry for the long wait! But all and all! I will try to upload some more chapters as soon as I can! Oh, one more thing, this is the alternative universe of Zootopia. Only except it doesn't involve parking duty but instead... M for Mature. Good to be back!
