Fluffy fluff. After the angst and hurt of the last two chapters I posted some nice times for these two. But that was in Unconstrained and some people do not read the M rated. So here is something a little less M and plenty less sad.

The clocks of the palace had just finished chiming the hour, it was two of the clock and a Friday. Elsa dotted the last "i" and crossed the final "t" It was now her afternoon off. Placing the important papers away, she put the dummy work into a lock-box a trick her Mother had taught her to ensure nothing secret was so easily found.

Her last chore over, Elsa was free to spend her time however she wished. Most of these afternoons off were taken up with Anna, spending time with her sister healing thirteen years of separation and just enjoying being with the vibrant young woman. Sometimes she would spend an afternoon with Olaf, reading him stories and playing slightly silly games with the snowman and her sister.

However they were both away today. Kristoff had promised to show Anna and Olaf the ice lakes in the mountains, they had set off on the sled that morning and would not return until supper. On past occasions that both her sister and her snowman were busy, Elsa had felt slightly bereft and more than a little lonely.

This time it would not be the case. There was a significant change to her life since her last afternoon without Anna and Olaf. A change she planned to spend her afternoon quite occupied by.

"Kai." Elsa spotted her aide in the hallway as she left her study.

"Your Majesty." He bowed slightly, Kai was always unfailingly polite even after seeing her through her most trying times.

"I am done with my work today, if there is nothing too important left to deal with, please dismiss the office staff for the afternoon." Elsa smiled, "That includes you also. I know what you are like."

"Queen Elsa, I protest, I can take time off when given." Kai's eyes gleamed with joy and pride for his Queen. She had come so far in such a short time, it was wonderful to see for the man who often times felt like a second father to both young women in his care.

"Good. I extend the offer of time off to the household staff also, those who are not here to prepare supper anyway. Gerda should not have to work when I make sure you are not!" Elsa kept an eye-roll from working its way out. Both of her head staff members worked far more than she wanted them to.

"I will pass along your orders, your Majesty." Kai inclined his head politely and bustled off. Elsa giggled to herself, happy that her plan was coming together.

As had been the case since the day she had decreed the gates open, there was a pleasing busyness to the castle courtyard that Elsa was happy to see. She had left a corner iced over for anyone who wanted to skate and play and local children loved it. Smiling and waving to her subjects, Elsa walked through the archway to the stable-yard.

Luckily for her, there was not much work going on; giving the staff the afternoon off meant that no one needed a horse for an errand. There was not even any noise of Freya working in the forge.

Yes, since the last time Elsa had an afternoon off without Anna and Olaf, there had been a change. She had a girlfriend.

Elsa giggled happily, coming closer to the forge and hopefully the farrier. "Freya?" She called out. Rewarded with the sight of a slightly mussed woman appearing in the doorway of the workshop.

Eyes darting about, Freya relaxed to see they were alone. "Elsa." The dark haired woman said a smile gracing her lips. One that Elsa gladly returned.

"As you may have heard, I decided the staff deserved an afternoon off. I have one myself." Elsa drew a closer and looked at adoring emerald eyes. "I had hoped you would like to spend the afternoon with me?"

"That sounds good." Freya stumbled her reply. Not only was the prospect of having a whole afternoon to spend with Elsa making her quite excited, but the concern that someone could question their keeping company was giving her doubts. It caused a confusing mixture in her head.

"No one will be around." Elsa promised, a little to reassure herself also.

"It sounds great." Freya smiled. The forge was already covered and it didn't take a lot of effort to close the doors to the workshop. "Where are we to go?"

"I have an idea." Elsa smiled, she had enjoyed kissing Freya the other night after their chat and she had ideas about spending more time kissing. Maybe sitting on her rather lovely lap. "If you don't mind going inside?"

Freya followed along behind Elsa, close enough that she would be given entry to the Palace in the company of the Queen, but not so close to cause anyone concern or cause to question her. The townspeople in the courtyard milling around gave greetings to their Queen, greetings politely returned with a warm smile.

Successfully navigating the courtyard and entering the palace building, Elsa grabbed Freya's hand. Since losing the gloves, Elsa loved to hold hands with those who were special to her. Anna and Olaf had been the only people on the list, but now she had Freya and she certainly wanted to take every chance she had.

Freya didn't object, she returned the grip and smiled brightly. Letting herself be led through the halls to whatever destination Elsa had in mind.

They halted suddenly. Elsa stopping without warning.

Kai and Gerda were in the hallway, her head aide had a picnic basket on one arm and his free hand holding Gerda's. It was clear that they were on their way out. But Elsa had not expected to meet anyone inside the castle.

Holding Freya's hand would not be something proper for her to be doing, so she dropped it quickly. "Kai, Gerda!" Elsa searched for something to say to the pair. "I, ah, there is some business that came up which I need to discuss with Ms Hanson." She smiled a little falsely and hoped the couple would buy it.

"About horses. For the Palace." Freya chimed in with a grin that Elsa often saw upon her sister's face when Anna was scheming.

"Oh dear, I hope it is business that doesn't take up too much time." Kai replied seriously. "Afternoons off are a shame to lose." He had a twinkle in his eye that neither woman noticed.

"Precisely." Elsa grabbed onto Freya's wrist, "We'll get this business over with quickly so we can go back to our afternoon off."

"Separately." Freya added, nodding her head.

Attempting decorum befitting a Queen, Elsa dragged Freya away towards the stairs.

Once the women were out of earshot Gerda let out a short laugh. "They might fool some, but not us."

"Now darling, you know how Elsa startles." Kai admonished. "She needs subtle support and nothing more."

"I won't be breathing a word, she deserves all the love in the world." Gerda tutted that her husband thought she would be so indiscreet. "Now, I was promised a picnic."

The pair were both very pleased for their charge, even if they both had and were ignoring their inkling about what the "business" was that the two women had.

"I take it there is not really any business for us to talk about." Freya chuckled as Elsa led her through the family floor of the palace. Their was a whole floor and two staircases between them and anyone else.

"Not at all." Elsa said, a light blush highlighting her freckles. It was too tempting for Freya, she dipped in and kissed the scattered pattern. "Freya." Elsa smiled at the easy affection, a year ago she wouldn't have touched even a fingertip to someone else. Now her girlfriend was kissing her sweetly.

"Am I here for kissing?" Freya whispered, nuzzling at Elsa's forehead. "Please say that I'm here for kissing." It made Elsa giggle and blush more.

"Essentially." Elsa fought to keep some kind of decorum, she was a Queen after all, but the fluttery feeling was back and Freya's teasing was making her giggle. "Come." She pulled Freya into the room, which they had finally reached.

It was one of the many drawing rooms the palace had, but from the ice sculptures and colour-scheme, Freya guessed it was Elsa's personal space. "Anna and I share so much these days, but we both decided that we deserved a room each, for entertaining." Elsa seemed to answer the unasked question. "A space to reflect who we are."

"The ice sculptures were a giveaway." Freya chuckled, stopping to admire one of a rearing horse, the detail was exquisite.

"Of course the horse distracts you." Elsa tugged at the arm she held, intent on leading Freya to her favourite couch.

"I like horses." Freya returned, letting Elsa pull her away and sit her on the comfortable couch. "It was an excellent piece."

"I'll have to make more like it." Elsa smiled and placed herself on Freya's lap, the turn of her lips turning smug. "But I did have other plans for this afternoon."

When Elsa had sat upon her, Freya's arms had automatically moved to wrap around the slender woman. Freya had not expected such closeness right away, but it was clear that Elsa would merrily seize what she wanted. Blue eyes gleamed up at her and the breath from Elsa's words brushed her lips.

"The plans." Freya replied, running her tongue over her lips. "These plans?" She captured Elsa in a kiss, working her lips over the softer pair of her partner. Elsa's hands moved to hold Freya in place.

When they parted for air, Elsa pressed her forehead against Freya's, revelling in the closeness. She giggled, "Yes, these plans." Her fingers still rested at Freya's jaw and she traced the line, brushing at her cheeks and burying her fingertips in black curls.

"I think I can help with these plans." Freya chuckled, tracing Elsa's back with one hand while the other held on to Elsa at her slim waist. Elsa leaned in to kiss at the edge of her lips, a spot next to her nose and pressing in again, taking her lower lip in to nibble lightly.

Freya groaned and dug her fingers into the small of Elsa's back, drawing a soft gasp from her girlfriend. A gasp that launched into a delving kiss and a lot of more of Elsa pressing against the stronger form she sat upon.

They didn't have any other plans for the afternoon.

Anna was animatedly retelling her adventured of the day to her older sister at supper. She was considering asking about Elsa's day, but with the brightness of her eyes and the swelling of her lips; Anna had a pretty good idea of what her sister had been up to.

Ask no questions, receive no lies. Anna was too happy that Elsa had found someone to spend the afternoon kissing senseless to go ahead and ruin it by pestering her skittish sister. So she grinned and carried on about woodland birds and wild flowers, watching the spark in Elsa's eyes.

I am a creating a fic that is Frozen II with Freya in it. As mentioned before. However I want to get another watch of it in before I go too far into writing. The release for the UK is the 30th, so not too long to go!
