Chapter 3: Fun in Diagon AlleyPoppy lead us to a room, it was quite small but we were able to manage through the tight fit. Apollo was breathing harshly so he was injured pretty badly, all of us immortals were covered in blood and ichor but Athena though she still had some injuries. Poppy walked back into a closet, we were on one side of the room and the weasleys were on the other side. "We are the Greek Gods and Goddess from the greek myths" I said too break the silence "We like to keep it quiet because people are fearful"
"And I for one don't enjoy being worshiped all the time" Ares said whipping some Ichor off of his face
"We shouldn't of tried to fool you" Athena said
"All can be forgiven" Molly said as I set myself on fire resulting a yelp from Charlie and Bill
"Hephaestus" Athena said
"What?" I said "I was cold" Charlie had moved back over too Ares
"You're covered in blood" Charlie stated looking at Ares who grinned one of his mischievous grins
"Oh dear, we can't walk around with you looking like that" Molly said
"I got some baby wipes" I said pulling out the infinite container of baby wipes from my never ending tool belt, I handed them too Molly
"I hate being cleaned" Ares whinned
"Suck it up buttercup" Charlie said grabbing my brother around the waist to hold him still for his mother who proceeded to wipe the blood off of Ares's face and magic it off of his clothing. He complained the whole time
"Ares, stop complaining" I said
"No I hate being cleaned" Ares said "
"You know father will freak out if you are covered in blood" Athena said
"Fuck you" Ares says
"Ares" I said "there are young ears here, watch you're languge"
"Joy kill, wait how did you get clean, you're were just as bad as me?" Ares says as molly ruffled his hair
"I set myself on fire" I said as Poppy came out with some nectar for the lot of us.
"Ew, Pickle" ARes says downing his in one gulp "Sour pickle" I could stop my self from laughing the face he made was so funny. "Why do I always get the bad flavors"
"Well I got Apples" Apollo said feeling better
"Shicst" I said examing my brace
"What?" Athena said
"I have a major problem" I took off my brace "It's broken and I left my tools at the forge"
"Let me see it" Molly said I handed it to her she brought out her wand "repairo" my brace atomically fixed itself "it's just a temporary fix" Molly said
"Well everyone if fine so let's get going" Apollo said
"You can't even….." Fred started
"Tell that he was…." George said
"Impaled" they both said
"That's because he's got such a bright spirit" Artemis said "he's like a little ray of sunshine"
"Well, I guess we should be on the way" Molly said
"Okay Heph how did you get clean" Ares said "you were cover almost as much as me, I mean, man I've never seen you fight like that"
"Blood evaporates in fire, I set myself aflame" I said
"Damn but what about Athena"
"I just changed forms the changed back, that makes us clean" Athena said
"Man I'm such an idiot!" Ares said
"That you are" Enyo says
"It's alright Ares" Charlie said putting his hand on my brother's shoulder we headed to the door. Molly led us to a dead end
"There's nothing here" Athena said
"The sky's so pretty" Ares said and we all looked at him. "Sorry" he said blushing
"Man he is acting weird today" I said in Greek
"I know" Athena said as molly tapped a few bricks with her wand, Severus snape, who had joined us, gave us a look.
"Can you please refrain from speaking a different language in front of us who don't speak but one language, Mr. and Miss Olympian."
"Sure" Athena and I said together "Hey we said that at the same time" we said "stop that"
"Oh I hate it when they do that" Ares said
"Do what?" we said
"It's like Fred and George" Percy said
"Except they don't finish each other sentences like your brothers do" Apollo said
"We're not doing anything" we said "stop copying me."
"Well let's get going and see how long it takes them to give us all a headache" Apollo said
"I doubt that will take long" Enyo says
"Shut up enyo" We both said as we all made our way to the bank, Gringotts. Ares had to pull Apollo was from the poem he was inspecting. We approached the front desk.
"Lord Hephaestus Olympian would like to get money from his vault" Athena said to the Goblin that was there
"And does Lord Hephaestus have his key." The goblin said
"Um yeah it's in here somewhere" I said digging through my tool belt
"This may take a moment" Athena and I said
"Here it is" I said handing it to the goblin
"Follow me" he said and took us to a large cart. Apollo wouldn't get on it.
"Come on whimp" Enyo baked at him
"No no no, i dont do undergroundy things" Apollo says
"What are you scared or something" Enyo says
"Yes!" Apollo exclaimed
"I will stay here with the young Olympian" Our chaprone Snape said
"Lets wait outside" Apollo grabbed snapes hand and lead him away
"What was that all about" Fred asked
"He doesnt like going under ground" Artemis says "Or dark places for that matter"
"He's a whimp" Enyo said, ares just grunted
"Man, Apollo would of loved these speeds" I said an next thing I knew we were looking down a huge slope "oh shit" I cursed in Greek then the cart shoot down the slope, all of us gods screamed like little kids.
"They haven't done anything like this before" Bill said the cart jostled to a stop
"Whiplash!" Ares said as we all got out we were laughing. Ares long blond hair was windblown, along with most the Wesley's. The girls where fine. "Man what a rush" Ares said
"I agree" Athena and I said
"Ok you two that's getting annoying" Charlie said
"We have to deal with it every day" Ares said
"The 500's, well that doesn't really surprise me now" Bill said we were lead to a vault and I got some money out. As we were walking back to the cart we smelt a horrid smell.
"What is…?" Charlie started to say
"Ares!" Athena Artemis and I complained
"Sorry" Ares grinned showing that he didn't mean it
"That really stinks mate" Charlie said and Ares laughed
"Leave it to Ares" Artemis said scowling
"Amen sister" Athena said as we got back into the cart
"I could go for some fresh air about now" Percy said as the cart took off, Ares was just giggling like a girl
"Finally" I said as we got of just for Ares to fart again this time we heard it
"Ares being stinky" Apollo said
"Yes" the three of us said
"Well now were off to get school supplies" molly said leading us to a store, a wand store.
"Hello there young wizards, here for the first wands I assume" he said
"Yes, Ollivander, these two are" molly said
"Well then you two, step on up" Mr. Ollivander said, I did as told. Bill hung back for a second till Ares pushed him forward causing him to fall.
"Ares!" I said sharply
"Opps" Ares said
"I'm sorry about that Bill" I said helping him up
"Its fine, you go first" Bill said
"Okay" I said Mr. Ollivander handed me a wand and it instantly burst into flames "Sorry about that" I said sheepishly
"That's not the one try this" I took another wand flames burst from the tip and I willed them to dance around me "That is odd, I have never in my entire carrier seen a wand chose anyone like that, it's 12 inch, red wood, with a fire core. This wand has been the hardest to sell"
"Fire typically is drawn to our brother, he loves fire" Athena said
"Oh will you shove it" I said glaring at her she shrugged as Bill got his wand, I didn't pay attention to what his was. We paid for our wands and walked out of the store
"So now where to now?" I asked
"The robe store, we need to get you two some robes" Molly said
"Robes?" I asked
"Looks like you won't be wearing your tool belt, Heph" Ares teased
"Oh I'll wear my tool belt, no one can tell me weather I can wear it or not." I said
"Whets the big deal with it?" Bill asked
"Heph, doesn't cope very well without it" Artemis said
"Yes, It's not very wise to take it from him" Athena said
No, No, No, we are not doing this today" I said
"Once he even went on a war path" Ares said
"Doing what" Molly asked
"They are making puns"
"And he's never very sunny" Apollo said
"I'll say these puns are cheesy"
"You are all blazing to me"
"He did it!" Apollo said "we got him to do it" I pulled a lighter from my pocket
"You are all idiots" Enyo says rolling her eyes
"Apollo" I growled deep in the back of my throat
as Snape took the lighter from me as we stepped into the shop we stepped in line behind a black haired boy
"Weasley surprised you're not getting hand me down robes" the black haired boy said "And who might you be?"
"I'm Hephaestus Olympian" I said
"You must be a mud blood" he said
"My blood status in none of your concern" I said as he was called back
"That was Kyle Jacobs" Bill said "He's from one of the pure blood families that hate muggle born's"
"Which I technically am" I said
"Yeah…those families consider mine blood traitors because we like muggles and muggle born's" Bill said
"When Ares goes to school in a few years I hope there are no one that'll bother him, his temper is kind of… how do I say this? If he loses it you better not be around" I said
"He's got a bad temper?" Bill said
"Very bad" I said as Jacobs walked back out and sent a glare my way and I went to the back and the woman had to fit me for the robes and kept pricking me with the pins and had to rework the Robes to incorporate my tool belt as the belt. I paid for the robes and walked out to my siblings.
"You don't look too happy" Athena said
"No. I'm not" I snapped "she kept sticking me with those cursed pins"
"Well you did take forever" Ares said
"She had to rework the robes to fit with my tool belt"
"Well least you got your tool belt" Apollo said as Bill came out
"So where to now" I asked
"The book store of course" Molly said leading us down the road to a dusty old book store
"It's dusty in here" Ares said loudly
"Shut up! Lower your voice this is a bookstore not a training room" Athena said slapping Ares
"Ow! That hurt, Tartarus damnit" Ares said
"Do you have any idea how unintelligent you just sounded, Ares, Tartarus and damn it, do not go together" Athena scolded Ares
"It's took you this long too realise he's stupid? Wow you're not as smart as you claim too be" Enyo says
"Why you…" Athena say
"Dont start you three" I said "we don't need a fight in the middle of a book store"
"How about your kids go to the fiction section I'll buy you each a book, No Percy not you Hephaestus's siblings if you want a book Percy you have to buy it. Heph you and Bill go get your school books." I quickly walked away from my siblings as I saw Ares head for the war books
"You alright Heph" Bill asked
"Yeah I just hate when those two start doing that" I said as I picked up my books "They get so frustrating, all of them do"
"Well, look at the bright side, you'll be away from them for a while at Hogwarts" Bill said
"Yeah, they drive me absolutely insane"
"Mine do me that way" Bill said grabbing his books "it seems to me that you have the more troublesome family"
"You have no idea" I said going to the front desk to pay for my books. Then I walked outside and sat at the bench and just waited on everyone else. I spotted the clean sweep broom in the window seal of a shop.
"Man that broom is nice" Apollo says coming out with Ares
"I'll come back here another day and get everyone one" I said to him "I swear on Styx I will if Dad Allows it"
"You're the best" Apollo said as Jacobs walked by
"Like you could afford that, you Mud blood" Jacobs said "and what's a Styx? Sounds kind of stupid if you ask me"
"For your information, you Ass, Styx is a river in ancient Greece that is said to lead to the underworld and if bathed in, in the underworld makes your skin impenetrable" Ares snaps
"No one Asked you, you filthy little—"
"Don't speak to my brother in that manor" I snapped punching Jacobs
"Why you!" Jacobs' father said
"No one talks to our brother like that but us" Apollo and I said
"You'll regret this Olympian" Jacobs said as they walked off
"Good riddance"Enyo muttered as the others came out
"What happened" Molly asks
"Jacobs happened" I said "let's get the rest of my stuff and leave"
"Ice cream?" Ares asked
"no, not this time, I wanna get out of here" I said as we entered the potion shop and bought all the potions and then went and got me like a hundred quills and parchment. We entered the wand shop last.
"You can get an owl, rat or cat" Athena reminded me
"I know" I said looking at a fiery red owl "that's the one" I said. Molly got the shop keeper to get it out of the cage
"She's a pretty one" the shop keeper said after I paid, I carried her out.
"What's her name" Athena asked
"Ena" I said
"That means fire doesn't it" Ares said looking up at the sky "wow the suns starting to set, we stayed out the whole day" Apollo yawned in response. We got to a floo.
"This time, just say mount Olympus" Molly said. We all just went together again "OLYMPUS!" Ares boomed and we all crashed in the den and scrambled out of the hearth just in time for molly and all the weasley's to come in
"Well, how was it. How was Ares" Dad said looking at Athena and I
"It was great" I said "though we did have to take out some death eaters… they attacked us first"
"Ares was pretty calm, calmer than normal, having Charlie around him helped" Athena said
"Hmm… maybe we should get those two to hang out some" Dad says
"Oh we might of let it slip that were gods" Apollo said "and I was impaled"
"But a witch had nectar and fixed him right up" Artemis says
"Molly, would you mind taking Heph to the train for us." Mom asked
"Not at all, would it be alright if I took the others out to see some magical stuff that day too" molly asked
"Why not," Dad said. Molly and the weasley's left
