Pain
'Pott…Harry, have you seen Hermione.' Severus asked the smaller man.
'No sir, I thought she was with you.' Harry replied suddenly feeling like a schoolboy again.
'She was.' He replied. 'I had to help Lucius with something and she disappeared.' He replied frowning.
'I'll go check the ladies.' Ginny advised the men getting up and walking away.
'Hermione…Mione?' Ginny called as she walked into the bathroom. 'Hermione, are you in here?'
A toilet door opened and Ginny looked up to find her best friend with tears running down her cheeks.
'What's wrong?' Ginny said as she rushed towards her friend.
'I'm bleeding Gin.' Hermione replied. 'I think I'm loosing the baby.'
'Oh Hermione.' Ginny replied wrapping her arms around her friend. 'We need to get you to the Hospital. Let me go and get Snape.'
With the mention Severus' name Hermione sobbed. Ginny wrapped her arms around her friend trying to calm her.
'Come on Hermione, let's get you outside and I'll go and get Snape.'
Once Hermione was safety outside Ginny rushed into the ballroom to find Severus. She located him stood with Lucius Malfoy. Ginny pushed her feelings aside regarding Lucius Malfoy and rushed to her former potions Professor.
'Sir…you need to come with me.' Ginny said forcefully. 'Hermione needs you.'
'Is everything alright?' Lucius asked the younger redheaded woman.
'Sir, you need to take her to the hospital.' Ginny said looking at the tall dark man.
'Severus, go.' Lucius said looking at his friend who he could tell was worried.
Severus rushed off with the Ginny following her through the hallways of Malfoy Manor until they reached the rose gardens. Severus stopped dead in his tracks as he saw Hermione stood under an apple tree with tears running down her face. She looked pale and washed out and clearly in pain.
'She's bleeding. You need to take her to the hospital now.' Ginny said as she watched the man look at his lover. 'Go.' She said pushing him forward.
Severus rushed towards Hermione and took her into his arms. 'We need to get to the hospital.' He said as he held her.
'It's too late.' Hermione said as she looked up at him. 'I know it is.'
'Don't talk like that.' He pleaded to Hermione. 'Come, we must go.'
