Donna was finishing up her homework. After she placed it away, she pointed to Baby Groot and Stitch. Groot and Stitch knew that it was the signal that it's time to perform some tunes. "Let's play something boy band-ish," Donna said. "I feel like listening to a boy band."
"Backstreet Boys? New Kids on the Block? One Direction?" Stitch asked.
"Nah," Donna replied. "I'm not in the mood for those. Something like...'It's Gonna Be Me'."
Stitch clearly knew what she meant by that. On the radio, he played *NSYNC's "It's Gonna Be Me."
"That's *NSYNC," Donna explained, "the late-'90s boy band."
"I am Groot (*The* *NSYNC)?" asked Groot.
"'It's Gonna Be Me'," Stitch recalled.
Animal remembered hearing about *NSYNC a thousand times and wanted to learn more about the band. "Animal," said Donna, "they consisted of Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and J.C. Chasez. In fact, 'The Mickey Mouse Club' is part of their origin story. I remember watching reruns on Viewtube, and Joey Fatone was one of the backup dancers."
"Mickey Mouse! Mickey Mouse!" shouted Animal.
"Easy, dude," Rocket replied. "We don't want you to get Donna in trouble for having a messy room."
"That's right," Donna replied. "Mom and Dad are going to a seminar on controlling wild pets. *After* you played around in the neighbor's lawn again."
"Sorry," replied Animal.
Stitch started imitating each of the *NSYNC members and lip-syncing "Bye Bye Bye," which made Donna and Groot laugh. "Oh, Stitch," Donna replied. "Did you get ideas from Big Time Rush again?"
"This is just like that crootaken episode where Gustavo impersonated them," recalled Rocket. "That was really disturbing."
"'Like Nobody's Around'," Stitch said.
"Correct," replied Donna. "One of the parts of 'Like Nobody's Around' shows an excerpt of 'Bye Bye Bye'."
"I am Groot (We want to learn more about them)," Groot said.
"Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Donna asked. "The OABOYI."
"Kiddo," Rocket said, "don't get any ideas."
"Come on, Rocket," Donna replied. "This is going to be really fun."
On the OABOYI, Stitch decided to learn about the origins of *NSYNC, and with one suck, they got into the ship.
Arthur's Note: This is based on the Music Cinematic Universe, which is a joke I made when "Bohemian Rhapsody" came out. More will come when an *NSYNC biopic comes out.
