After the War, Hermione goes to New York to do a degree in Potions. At the beginning of her third year, Severus Snape comes to give a lecture at the same University running into Hermione. Will love blossum for the two?

31. Announcement

Chapter 31 - Announcement

'Oh Good Morning you two!' Molly Weasley practically shouted at Hermione and Severus. 'How are you feeling my dear? You're glowing!'

'Thank you Molly.' Hermione said accepting a hug from her surrogate mother.

'Go on in to the living room dears. I'm finishing off the cooking. I'll call you once it's ready.' Molly said pushing them out of the kitchen.

Hermione grabbed Severus' hand and pulled him into the living room.

'Hermione!' Ginny squealed as she lanched herself at Hermione.

'Hi Gin!' Hermione replied hugging Ginny.

'Hello Professor.' Ginny said smiling at Severus.

'Merry Christmas Ginevra.' Severus replied. 'And please call me Severus.'

Ginny nodded and stepped aside as more Weasley's wished them a Merry Christmas.

After what felt like ten thousand hellos, Severus found himself in the dining room looking at the wall of pictures. It wasn't long before he found pictures of Hermione. The first picture was of Hermione with Ron and Harry on the first day of their fifth year. The second Hermione and Ginevra at the eldest Weasley's wedding and then third picture of Hermione and Ron.

'I see you found the picture wall.' Hermione said standing behind Severus.

'When was this taken?' Severus asked as he pointed towards the picture of Hermione and Ron.

'About two months after the War.' Hermione replied. 'Ron and I….we dated for 4 months. It was like dating my brother.'

'Did you?' Severus began.

'Did we sleep together?' She replied.

Severus nodded.

'No.' Hermione said with a smile. 'Ron tried.' She giggled 'I couldn't.'

'Good.' Severus replied sighing.

Hermione wrapped her arms around Severus' middle and placed a kiss on his chest.

'Dinner!' Mrs. Weasley shouted.

20 Weasley's, Harry, Hermione and Severus gathered around the table for Christmas dinner. After dinner finished, Hermione stood up to make an announcement.

'Severus and I would like to announce that in August we will be welcoming a little….GIRL!' Hermione said with a huge smile.

'I knew it!' Ginny said as she hugged and congratulated Hermione.
