Now it's my turn to talk about this!
I have updated/rewritten (2018-2020) the story. However, it is the lemon chapters, that changed the most. If you enjoyed reading it the first time, I encourage you to... read it all again. Just the lemons, if you will. I find them better and more realistic now.
So yeah, what was that all about? I wanted to write a SamxChris lemon that is as sweet as lollipops and shows their love for each other and also that love could be unconditional and beautiful and just perfect and simple.
I've been in a very difficult toxic relationship when I started to write this story in 2015. It was sort of a hideaway for me. I wanted to believe in love and nice relationships again. Luckily, I am not with him anymore. Not now (2020) and even when I finished the story in 2016 I was a free spirit already. Don't be afraid, if you aren't happy in a relationship that you are in, let it go – if there isn't a chance to fix it. Believe in love and I hope you'll be all living for love! And that one day, you'll find a queen/king for you.
Maybe that is why rewriting the story was so hard for me. I had to come back in a way and connect with my naive but also devastated my old self. I had gotten through it and I am a survivor. The memories will last forever though. I am getting married this year and I am glad to start a new chapter of my life, as Chris and Sam did. I am a tiny little bit older than them though.
It was my first long story and my first lemon ever. It's also my first experience with writing in English. But I tried my best, trust me! :D Thanks for reading and for reviews (but there's only one review that's not Dixxy's, so go for it, darlings!).
Dixxy knows what I am talking about. So, I wanted to thank you for all your support and understanding, helping me with the story and so on. Aaaaand…. I would like to dedicate the whole story to you! Also, don't be sad that some of the memorable things from the story are gone - I am planning to continue with the Honeymoon lemons in the summer and get inspiration from my own honeymoon.
As for the songs and lyrics previously used in the Fanfic, I think (I hope!) I have deleted them all, so I don't have to mention them here.
There were a few things mentioned that are in my other stories. You can read The Promise to find out why Chris said, he gave the promise to Sam four times.
And what will be next? The Honeymoon in the Alps! The story is discontinued now due to a lack of inspiration. (But as mentioned above, I think the inspiration will come back soon.) It is a collection of lemons connected to/ set in nature.
Currently, I am working on my longest and most complex story yet, I've Found (in) Myself a Cheerleader.
