A prehistoric shark has come from out of nowhere and to the shores of the vacation resort. Renee Thomas, the daughter of a whaler might be the only one who can stop it!

9. Chapter 9

11:45 pm

"This Salmon is wonderful!" said Daisy, "So Renee, why did you volunteer for this job?"

Renee sat down at the dinner table and took a deep breath,

"It's something very personal. My father was on the USS indianapolis when it was hit with two torpedos by a Japanese submarine. The vessel went down in 12 minutes. 900 men went into the water, my father among them. I was told by one of the survivors that he had been bitten in half by the biggest shark that he had ever seen in his life."

Daisy had a strange look on her face.

"You don't seriously believe that our shark is the same one that killed your father, do you?"

"I don't know." said Renee as she sipped her coffee, "I just think that it might help me with my loss if I can catch this fish."
