11:15 am

"It's almost ready." said Renee as she put the cage together.

A boat with a water ski passed by in the distance. The barrels quickly pulled in the direction of the other boat.

"Oh shit!" said Daisy, "He's going for that boat! HEY! TURN AROUND! THE SHARK IS COMING FOR YOU!"

Renee yelled to the other boat, "GO BACK! GO BACK!"

11:20 am

Ben Lott tower his wife Georgia, she rose gracefully in the waves like a mermaid on the skis.

They were a vacationing couple from New Jersey.

As Ben looked back, he thought he saw the fin of a large fish about a hundred yards behind Georgia. This that a shark? No it's too big.

"Georgia!"

She smiled at him over the water one hand off the tow bar and waved at him. The fin was coming up on her, weaving across their dying wake. It was gigantic! Did whales have fins?

Ben jammed the throttle forward, way to fast, catching Georgia off balance. The tow bar slipped from her hands and she fell into the water.

"Shit!"

Ben stopped the boat as the fin dove under the water.

"Georgia!"

Be grabbed the radio.

"May Day! Help! Coast guard! May Day!"

The water turned blood red!

"May Day! May Day!"

Suddenly the snout rose from the water still bloody.

Ben started the boat again just as the great fish bit down on the stern. The boat wasn't going anywhere! The shark shook the boat violently and the can of gasoline next to the captain's chair was spilled.

Ben reached for the flare gun in the box of the emergency kit but the shark shook the boat again and the contents of the box spilled out.

Finally Ben got a hold of the flare gun in one hand and a flare in the other hand.

The shark chewed off the transom as Ben loaded the flare gun. Come on you fucker!"

Ben fell back as he fired the pistol at the shark, For an awful instant he knew the boat was cover in gas. His world went up in an orange boom.

Renee and Daisy saw the explosion from less than a mile away.

Renee ran to her own radio in the cabin.

"May Day Coast guard! This is the Atlantis! Come in Coast guard!"

As Renee used the radio, Daisy noticed that the barrels were returning. "You mother fucker!"

Daisy hooked up the remaining barrels to one of the harpoons and load the harpoon into the gun.

"Daisy! Wait!" Yelled Renee as she left the cabin.

"I'm gonna kill you!" yelled Daisy as the megalodon rose it's head out of the water with its blood cover mouth open. Most of it's face was burned making the giant shark even more terrifying!

"Daisy wait, let me!" Renee gently pushed Daisy aside, aimed the gun and fired.

The harpoon stuck the megalodon's left eye and the last 10 barrels went overboard.

"Good shot!" yelled Daisy

"How is he still alive?" said Renee.

The shark dove under the water and disappeared again.

"20 barrels!" Said Renee, "He's got to be getting tired!"

"The bang stick ready" said Daisy as she loaded an elephant bullet into the stick "Get him close to that cage and I can blast out his other eye"

"Not yet," said Renee as she started the engine, "let's lead him back to shore first. I've got another plan."

12: 50 pm

The Atlantis finally came close to land, there was a sign; CABLE CROSSING: DO NOT ANCHOR.

"Why stop here?" asked Daisy

"This is dangerous but if I can pick the line to the old lighthouse up here then we could electrocute him."

"Sounds risky," said Daisy, "Let's try my way first."

"Okay Daisy," said Renee as she dropped the anchor.

After hooking the giant cage on the ship's wench, Daisy changed into her scuba gear and climbed inside the cage.

"Set the cage down to the bottom here," said Daisy as she put her camera strap around her neck, "if this doesn't work, then maybe I can hook the cable onto the anchor for you."

"Alright Daisy," said Renee as she handed Daisy the bang stick, "good luck."

Renee closed the cage down and used the wench to lower the cage into the water.

Daisy saw the giant shark swimming around the cage as the cage went lower, almost like a vulture circling its prey.

Daisy told some pictures of the shark as it continued to circle the cage.

Finally the cage hit bottom!

The megalodon came close to the cage, Daisy stuck out her arm and touched the shark as it passed by.

Daisy looked down, the cable was only two feet away from the cage.

'He's not attacking yet. Maybe he's an intelligent animal planning his move. Rare for sharks! Maybe I can reach the cable and put it on one of the bars.'

The shark had not done anything yet as Daisy used her bang stick to move the cable closer to the cage.

The shark rammed the cage from behind and Daisy so startled but she did not drop the bang stick.

'It's like he knows I'm up to something.'

The shark rammed the cage again!

The space that the snout made got bigger!

'That's it you dumb son of a bitch! Get trapped in this cage!'

The cable the close enough, but how could Daisy connect it to the cage?

'So much for that idea.'

Daisy held the bang stick and was ready to use it when the shark rammed the cage again.

'There's a trench over there by the anchor. He couldn't fit in there. If the bang stick doesn't kill him I can climb out and hid in there. Come on you clown! Bring it!'

The tail hit the cage this time.

'Shit! Bring your head over here!'

Finally the shark head butted the cage and Daisy pressed the bang stick under its right eye.

Bang!

The sea was red with the shark's blood, but he was still trying to get into the cage.

'A shark from hell,' Daisy thought as she unlatched the top of the cage, 'the devil himself! He's still alive?'

Daisy dropped the empty bang stick and swam out of the cage as the shark shook the cage.

Daisy swam into the trench and wrapped the cable around the anchor.

"Damn it!" yelled Renee as she tried to raise the cage.

The shark continued to shake around and destroy to cage.

"Renee!"

Renee turn her head and saw Daisy climbed up to the boat at the anchor line.

"I did it!" yelled Daisy as Renee quickly pulled her into the boat.

"I saw the blood!" Said Renee, "How can that goddamn thing still be alive?"

"The cable is on the anchor! Raise the anchor!"

As the anchor came up, the cage stopped moving! The shark was loose!

Daisy removed her oxygen tank and frog feet. "He's loose!"
