Started this chapter on 14/05/17 – let's see how long it takes!
So kind of disappointed in how few reviews I got last chapter. I totally know it's my own fault, a 4 month wait and it wasn't my best, but please help me with the enthusiasm for writing – gimme a review, even as a guest and tell me your thoughts!
So the vast vast majority of reviews I have had while writing this have been really positive. Apart from one idiot who told me to kill myself. Charming. Thanks to everyone else for their great support.
I've had a couple of reviews that say they don't understand why Nat is being submissive to Aria, or allowing her to have her life story. That she is a vampire and that should be enough. Okay I kind of get where you're coming from. However while I made Nat a vampire, that doesn't mean she yet knows much about what that means, after all it's not like there's anyone around to explain it, and she arrives in Omega basically with nothing.
I want Nat to be a character that develops without being a Mary Sue, otherwise what's the point. This chapter will start to provide an insight I hope into how she will develop. I have to admit I found it a tough one to write as I want to get past it and develop the story line more, but without some 'training insights' I feel I would be basically saying Nat did this cos I said so, which would be bullshit. Also I find time jumps with a first person point of view a pain to write. I decided to write it this way as a challenge and because I feel it is more immersive but sometimes it's a complete bitch for writers block.
As to how she deals with Aria – okay you find yourself completely changed with an unhealthy hunger for blood, and the single most dangerous person in the completely fucked up place you arrive takes a personal interest in you. I felt the only thing Nat could do is make herself useful, otherwise if Aria takes her as a threat she's dead. Yes Nat is tough and will get a whole lot more impressive over time. Potentially she may get to the point where she could challenge Aria with a chance of actually winning but not yet. At the moment she's at the okay I made myself useful stage. Now she has to plan and develop. Of course now Aria knows just how valuable Nat could be, that poses other problems.
Anyway I hope that reassures some that she isn't just rolling over and baring her throat submissively, just in this version of the ME universe biotics are a serious force multiplier so you treat someone as powerful as Tloak with respect. Thanks for reading, please send me your comments and views they're always welcome, and enjoy this next chapter.
ANLWAB
This morning is gonna suck. It's 07:52, in a little over an hour I start being a guinea pig (or local Illium equivalent), I've had breakfast – 2 chilled packs of Asari blood, and physically I'm totally buzzing and ready to go. Mentally not so much, I'm about to spend 4 hours being scanned every which way by Dr T'Vanna while Furti does her own thing elsewhere getting ready to torture me this afternoon. Said Dr's probably annoyed and/or confused at not being able to access my data, even though she said she wouldn't do that outside of her lab, so I am sure it will be fun all round. On top of that I'm not really looking forward to any more revelations from the scientist, and more worryingly although I've fed, I can feel the urge to hunt beginning to rise again. I'll have to hold off as long as I can.
Furti's already headed out to, amongst other things locate a low powered UV source, while I finish getting armored up. I'm not really expecting any trouble at the Kynthiari lab, but given my complete fear of UV at the moment and general paranoia I'm not risking anything going there and back, so armored up is the only way to go. I'm pretty sure I'll be safe there as Lexi is now thoroughly hooked into their facility, and if anything untoward happens I'm certain I'll know ahead of time. I'm organised today, taking along another pair of chilled blood packs, and even taking along some gym kit with me to use at the lab so I don't have to have my ass hanging out of a medical gown.
Before I leave for the day, I send a quick comm message to my friends on Omega- and that still sounds weird to me – telling them Furti and I arrived okay and are getting started today, then I pull my helm on, and head out the door a few moments later. The aircab ride is mostly quiet as I look down on Nos Astra in the morning sunshine, the pedestrian routes busy with Nos Astra's workers. I ignore the driver's occasional grumbling as the air traffic gets busier by the minute before eventually the aircab sweeps down from its assigned traffic lane and lands outside the lab. This time there's no big hardcase to lug around, and I am lightly armed with only the Brawler extended and clamped on my thigh while the AR is collapsed on my back, no need to be a complete walking armory today. I head in and realise it will be my job to speak to reception today. It's a different Asari maiden this morning but it takes less than a minute to get signed in as 'Rayne', and confirm I'm going to the same lab before I head down in the elevator again. I'm even a couple of minutes early. Yay me. While I wait for T'Vanna I have Lexi confirm that my data is still secure.
"That is confirmed Nat, the date that was taken yesterday is still secure. Dr T'Vanna did not attempt to remove the data from her lab or access it from an external site."
Well, color me surprised. I guess I misjudged T'Vanna, I really didn't think she would be able to resist it. And I'll need to keep quiet about it as well, or she will have questions to ask me about how I know that, need to make sure I don't slip up there.
"Okay Lexi, same as yesterday, keep the data secure, keep monitoring any comms and stay hooked into their systems if possible.
"That will not be an issue Nat, I have penetrated their IT protocols and have full access to data oversight and site security. If necessary I will be able to maintain the access in the future."
"Wow, okay you did a fair bit more than I expected there Lexi, good job."
"Thank you Nat."
"You're just following your programming to do with user comfort right now aren't you?"
"Yes Nat."
There's a pause for a moment while I think this through. Lexi said she has full access. Yes, I told her to hack their systems to track my data but it sounds like my VI has done way more.
"Lexi you have access to data oversight and security, does that mean you have access to their data as well as mine?"
"If necessary yes, but accessing other data would leave a record."
Crap, awesome but crap. Damn Lexi is dangerous, maybe I need to be more explicit in my instructions?
"How did you manage this Lexi?"
"The facility's security is based off an access matrix. I used similar principles to hacking the slaver base, hacked their security and established a hidden user account with full access."
"To what?" Please don't say it.
"Everything at this facility." And she said it.
"What logic did you follow to achieve this result?" Curiosity killed the cat and all that.
"My primary purpose is your protection and security. You instructed me to observe local comms so far as possible, and I am doing so. Within this facility all comms are controlled through internal routers, and security has control of this plus all other environmental factors. Therefore it is necessary to coopt the local security net and establishing a full access account achieves my objective of securing your scan data."
"Okay, and you're still maintaining a watch on outside comms as well?"
"Yes Nat. Since maintaining comm surveillance is instrumental to your security I have repurposed the hardware freed up by absorbing the shield management VI and now maintain a constant watch."
"Wow. Okay excellent job, your learning protocols are extremely efficient Lexi."
"Thank you Nat. Dr T'Vanna has arrived on this floor in the elevator, she will arrive in approximately 1 minute."
"Ok Lexi, thanks, resume silent mode, and comm through the omnitool if necessary."
Okay, enough of that conversation for now. I'll try and work through the implications later on, which could take a while. A few moments later the Asari scientist, strides briskly around the corner and down the corridor. She gives me a brief greeting and then unlocks the lab and ushers me in.
ANLWAB
At least this time I've not got my bum hanging in the breeze. Dr T'Vanna has me wearing a skintight suit similar to my under armor, except it's loaded with sensor to monitor my biotics and my nervous system. Apparently Armali biotics development teams use these suits as an instruction and assessment tool for experimental biotic techniques. It's designed to record the flow of energies through a nervous system every millisecond so it can be played back, analysed and dissected, as well as keeping track of normal nerve activity, bodily fatigue and dozens of other things that went right over my head when T'Vanna mentioned it a little under 3 hours ago. Since that explanation I have been a biotic guinea pig for the good Doctor.
First on the agenda was baseline testing of what I already know. Since I arrived on Omega, I've used Warps, Pulls, Throws and Shields and Singularities, so T'Vanna had me do a base test of 5 of each, measuring my use of biotic energy, the strength of the electrical signals emanating from the weird little organ at the base of my skull, and my body's electrical field. Since then it's been a little more intense. When I say intense I mean I'm fucking knackered, I've cast another 50 of each, in groups of 10 with 5 minute breaks to recover some energy. The first round of 10 Warps, Pulls, Throws and Shields and Singularities was fine, but now by the end of the fifth set I'm running on empty. Hell I'm past empty I'm trembling as I stand.
"That's enough for now Doc, I'm beat."
"Yes, I agree Rayne. You did well, I'm surprised you managed 5 full sets. Take a break for 15 minutes while I run some comparison analysis on this data, then we will carry on."
I grunt an acknowledgement, and tiredly head back to the changing room, trying not to stumble, and as soon as I'm in and the door is locked I head for a blood pack. I can't believe how much energy I have used, I feel like I'd been physically working hard for hours and hours. I down it in a minute with a few long sucks and the flood of life energy wipes away most of my fatigue, not all of it, but enough that I can carry on with the testing, although I hope T'Vanna has something else in mind now. I'll keep the other pack for later, it's not even 11:45 yet. Still if T'Vanna is gonna have me working like this I need more blood, I wont have near enough to last the rest of the trip. Worse I can feel the Hunger growing at the back of my mind – I will need to hunt soon. I'm so glad I brought those 2 packs with me. Hell if I didn't have them with me I might have ended up doing something to seriously fuck things up like make a meal out of my researcher. I stash the empty pack back in my armor, then activate my omnitool.
"Lexi is this room under surveillance?"
"Not currently Nat, there is a hidden camera that can be activated by Security but it is offline."
"Okay, warn me if it is accessed please. Return to silent mode."
A glance in the mirror – yeah that one is a myth, I can see myself just fine, and a quick wash to get rid of some blood around my mouth, and then I just chill out for a few minutes scrolling through the comms Lexi has been picking up for anything interesting to kill time. Nothing earth shattering so I head back out to pick up the testing.
"So Doc, how was the initial testing go, did I do okay?"
"It was good Rayne. Very impressive actually, for so little experience in biotics you have exceptional stamina, and your power levels were high."
"How do you measure my stamina?" I ask curiously.
"The suit measures the amount of power you are putting out for each technique, and overall stamina is a function of the number of repetitions. You seem quite refreshed now as well."
"A couple of strong energy drinks Doc, believe me I needed them. How do I compare at the moment?"
T'Vanna waves me across to where I can see her display better. Her expression is somewhere between serious and happy researcher as she thinks for a minute before replying.
"See these charts? They detail your power output, amongst other things for your techniques. You performed 275 biotic techniques in a little over 2 hours once we got started. Pulls and Throws are more about control than power output, but Warps, Shields and Singularities especially are power heavy techniques. With your power output I would be astonished at a Human completing 1 full set let alone 2. I am aware of stronger field strength being recorded by some Humans for some of these techniques but very few. I expect an Asari maiden could manage 3 sets assuming they could even perform singularities, but no maiden would be likely to get near these power levels. Our stamina and power increases with age and experience as I told you yesterday. A middle age matron should manage 3 sets comfortably and some would do 4. Power levels would still be lower than these. That is for an average Asari Rayne. This testing is based off Republic commando training techniques and experienced commandos have been recorded with significantly greater power levels and stamina. I would need to do some research for an accurate comparison but I would imagine that your companion from yesterday outputs up to... around 180% of your peak power. Stamina wise, I wouldn't be surprised if she managed double your sets. A younger matriarch would typically produce around your power levels and might last 5 or 6 sets, however older and again those in the military could be significantly more."
"Okay, thanks for the comparison Doc." Interesting, I guess Pashya really was totally outclassed, and Aria really would totally squash me like a bug, good to get a better idea how I stand power wise. My thoughts are interrupted by the Doc speaking again, although mostly to herself as she studies my results.
"Oh…that cannot be right...the output has improved by more than 6%?"
"Doc?" T'Vanna starts slightly then looks at me like I should be under her microscope again.
"Rayne did you notice any difference between the first and last set?"
"Other than being exhausted, no. Why?"
"Yesterday I said the testing might show how fast you can improve or develop your biotics, but I wasn't expecting an indication yet. Look here, the sensor data shows that your biotic efficiency has improved significantly between your baseline and the last set."
"Significantly?"
"Yes, the ratio of electrical output to biotic output has increased by 6.347% overall across disciplines."
"Dr T'Vanna I'm not a scientist, but that doesn't sound very significant to me."
I swear the Asari growls at me, before sighing in frustrated scientific zeal.
"Rayne you were very near exhausted by the end of the last set, and yet the amount of biotic power you produced for a given amount of effort improved by more than I would expect an Asari to improve in weeks maybe months of practice, in less than a morning."
Oh, actually that sounds pretty awesome.
"Huh, okay that sounds pretty good."
"By the Goddess Rayne it's unheard of! I've never heard of biotic development at a fraction of this speed. Your nervous system is actually optimising the biotic template for individual techniques instead of improvements coming from improved visualisation."
I must be looking particularly dumb right now as the excited scientist sighs and then points at a pair of displays side by side.
"This is how your body processed a biotic warp Rayne. The first sequence is your baseline average, the second is the last set average. Look here, notice the time elapsed from start to finish is shorter, see how the last set the path of the biotic pulse is more focused, and the output energy as the pulse leaves your body is higher. This general improvement is the same across all the biotics you performed, some more than less, but the average is an overall improvement in your power of 6.347% in 55 casts. If this improvement is linear then your will double your power output in 867 uses of a technique."
"Linear means constant right?"
"Yes Rayne."
"Is that likely?"
"I would have said no, but then I would have said you couldn't improve your output like this in a morning. I don't really think your development will be linear, there is only so much physical improvement that's possible, but we will just need to do more tests and work out the progression rate."
"Fine, we can do that. What do you want me to do now, more sets?"
"No, we'll get better data if we repeat the exercise tomorrow and see what if any difference there is your performance. For now, as you seem to be defying all biotic norms, let's try something else. Let's see how you get on with something new."
"Sure ok." Learning a new technique would be cool. I wonder what she has in mind?
"There are many types of biotic discipline, offensive and defensive and you're getting a good start on those. There are also various types of mobility techniques, and these are commonly used by most military biotics to some extent. Asari call the art Kanquess and there are several variations. What I want you to do is to study these files on Kanquess and see if you can develop it."
"I don't think I'll be doing that in the time we have left today Doc." I snark at her.
"Rayne I'll be truly astonished if you manage to do anything remotely similar in your next 10 years let alone your 10 days with me. Still the point of this research is to see what you can do, and those files contain everything used to teach a basic Kanquess step. If you can develop even the beginning of Kanquess while here then your potential is breathtaking."
So that's what I do for what's left of the session, study the recordings of Kanquess or as the Systems Alliance refer to it Biotic Charge. Basically it's a skill that needs a bunch of power and a lot of focus to use biotics to flash from spot to spot, straight through intervening matter, and users can then arrive in the face of an enemy with a biotic explosion. Completely awesome. An hour or so later I'm done for the day with T'Vanna, changed back into my armor, and heading out the door. Lexi gives me a run down on her comms intercepts, nothing of interest, and lets me know she has downloaded all the Kanquess data so I can practice at my leisure. When T'Vanna opened the archive files my sneaky VI immediately took a copy of the whole archive – not just what T'Vanna showed me. Should be interesting reading. She also gives me a comm Furti has sent me with my directions to our training spot. A 5 min wait sees me in an aircab and on a 40 minute ride by aircab out of Nos Astra in vaguely easterly direction towards my punishment...training.
ANLWAB
Furti's message told me my destination is a small warehouse complex squatting amongst the sprawling run down industrial zone that stretches for 15 or 20 klicks along the side of a large river, complete with small port, and a grid like block pattern of factories, warehousing, shit accommodation in shanty town like structures and goddess knows what else, with all the required grime and grit you could want. I guess Asari like to keep the dirty stuff away from their pristine cities if they can. The aircab drops me off down the street and I walk the last couple of blocks as Furti requested – keeping us discrete I guess. There's plenty of activity all around, lots of small factories and workshops, and I've seen most species. Lots of Asari naturally, also quite a few Turians and Salarian, lots of Batarians, and even a smattering of Quarians so far. Not seen a Volus yet, but I'm sure they're around somewhere moving credits around. Also not seen many Humans which is fine with me.
The folk around here are generally labourers by the looks of things, and not well off either, but there are also plenty of traders and guards as well, and a lot of those guards wear the yellow of Eclipse. Although there are plenty of other groups around, Eclipse are brazenly in charge of the whole area, and it reinforces Furti's words in my mind. Ilium is Eclipse home territory and I should avoid stepping on their toes unless absolutely necessary. In my short walk past a mechanics lot, I see a cringing Batarian having the shit kicked out of it by an overseer – also Batarian. It's that kind of area, the rest of the mixed species work crew just stands there watching their work mate get 'disciplined'. Indentured labour may be legal on Ilium but it still looks like slavery to me, and it pisses me off. I growl under my breath as I walk past, knowing that Furti will be more than pissed at me if I get involved doesn't help my mood.
I reach my destination, and punch in the access code into the keypad at the side of the gate set in a high chain link fence. The locks click open and I move through, the gate closing after me and locking again. The compound is roughly 200m square, a glance around shows no sign of guards, or any other signs of life, just a trio of featureless warehouses that are solidly built, but look rather weather beaten, each about 100m by 30m and 5 storeys high, lined up side by side with connecting walkways at ground and upper levels. Quite a big place for no obvious security. I pause just inside the now locked gate.
"Lexi can you pick up any security?"
"Scanning Nat."
My visor's HUD starts filling in with markers as my suit sensors start identifying motion sensors, infrared detectors and sound sensors, fairly obvious cameras globes at every corner of the site, as well as more discrete units, including a full on laser scanning grid. Well shit, no guards, but every inch of this ground is covered every which way. Actually this is way way more security than I expect.
"Huh, okay Lexi, usual routine, let me know if anything crops up."
"Okay Nat, I will begin analysing the security network for accessibility. The network here is extensively hardened and protected against intrusion."
"Can you get in if I need you to?"
"It will take some time."
So maybe yes, maybe no. Lexi sounds uncertain, and I'm now assigning emotions to my VI, I'm so going around the twist. Okay lots of security, and a network that my VI which can hack ultra secure cred sticks in seconds is not able to get easy access to. Where the actual fuck am I? Oh well, time to go find Furti and see how far down this particular rabbit hole goes. I head over to the middle warehouse that has the only visible access, across 30m of clear ground that now looks a lot like a killing ground, although I can't see the killers yet. As I near the gate the suit's scanner pick up shielded sections in the warehouse wall around the access that are suspiciously turret sized. Furti's voice suddenly interrupts my thoughts on the comms.
"Good you made decent time Nat, what do you think?"
"I'm wondering what weird ass place is hidden here Furti," I grouch back at her. "the security is…extensive."
"Ah, good to see you're not oblivious. Come on in."
The warehouse door gives off multiple clicks as locks disengage and swings open. I'll admit a little trepidation as I step through. Immediately inside is a brightly lit security choke point where Furti stands waiting for me with an easy grin, clad in her usual leathers. Lexi highlights 4 turrets mounted above and around me, surrounding the doorway in an intense kill zone, so I'm glad to see the Asari there. Logic suggests if she wasn't I'd be far more at risk. The choke point is also fitted with heavy kinetic barrier generators and a multitude of sensors, which no doubt scan me down to my molecules as Furti waves me through. All in all, I get the feeling that if you wanted to make a 'dynamic entry' here you would have more than a few casualties.
Once we're out of the harsh white arc lighting I can make out more of the interior, a quick glance around highlights a wide open warehouse with a warehouse length firing range to my left, gym equipment, and a medical station in front of me plus stairs to an upper mezzanine floor, and to the right a large engineering bay, and further away what looks like an armory, and a garage. We stop just past the entrance and I gaze around as I remove my helm. There are no windows. The air is still, and the place is quiet except for the hum of power generators, the barrier generators behind me and high up in the roof above us the popping sounds of insects suiciding on the lighting.
"Furti, what the Goddess is this place?"
Furti chuckles. "Nat, this place belongs to an old friend of mine, and she has allowed me to borrow it for our visit. Here we can be secure while we train, we have room for a proper gun range, and biotic training. That is not easily found on Omega."
"It's just us here?"
"Today yes. In a couple of days we will have some additional trainers arriving as well. Currently they are busy elsewhere on Ilium."
"Oh. So what's the plan?"
Furti's answering grin is positively evil. "Aria wants me to train you Stern. Archangel says you have good instincts and what I've seen mostly backs that up, but it's obvious you've never had any proper training. I know you're tough, but not what else you can do. Today we find out how fast, strong and tough you are physically. Plus I have the ultra violet source to test your concern there. Then we will build on what we find out. You won't need your armor for the rest of the day, the lockers are over there, go get changed into the exercise gear then get back here. You've 5 minutes. Move."
Well, I get out of the armor and changed in time, but I doubt that small achievement will help me much for the rest of the day. Furti is waiting for me having also changed into exercise gear. I never exactly had the chance to notice this outside of a life and death fight but damn that Asari is ripped. I guess 300 plus years of military service would tend to make you concentrate on being physically fit, but I swear Furti could bend steel bars without using her biotics. She isn't bulky with muscle but I doubt there's a wasted gram of flesh on her, and the scars covering her torso and limbs testify to the life she's led. Asari regenerate over time so Goddess knows how many scars she used to have.
"Okay Stern, first up we're going to run you through some exercises. This is to be purely physical effort, no biotic reinforcement."
"Wait Furti, biotic reinforcement? What's that?"
"Okay that answers one question I had. Some rare biotics assist their physical resources with biotic techniques. They're one of the reasons that elite Republic commando squads are so deadly. We may look at them another time, to give you an idea of what to look for and avoid. Why avoid? Because with these techniques an Asari can be physically stronger than a Krogan, faster than a Turian and react quicker than a Salarian. For now just concentrate on these exercises. Now give me 100 press ups."
Huh, aw crap. I drop and start pushing out press ups. My old physique would have struggled, but truthfully I barely notice the effort now. I let my body get on with it while my thoughts are mulling over biotic enhancement. Definitely something to look into in Armali's archives I think. I stand up and Furti, immediately has me doing squats, followed by starjumps, crunches, pull ups, sit ups, sprints, and Goddess knows what else. I zone out a little just following Furti's instructions. The weirdest thing is this is not tiring, and I notice that Furti is looking progressively more bemused as she starts to have me repeat sets. I know I'm working because I'm getting steadily hungrier but my muscles don't feel physically tired. Eventually Furti calls a break.
"Take 5 Stern. I'll admit I'm impressed, you were doing those like a machine. How do you feel?"
I shrug. "Okay Furti, a little thirsty."
I feel a little hungrier than when I arrived, and that's about it. I excuse myself and down the remaining blood pack which wipes away the hunger. No more left with me for today and it's only early afternoon. Based on my consumption so far there aren't enough left back at the flat for the whole trip so I'm definitely going to need to get more blood. More worryingly the urge to hunt is growing even though my hunger is sated again for now. After the time out it's back to the exercise area, where Furti puts me through my paces on the exercise machines to find out what I actually can do. There's certainly a difference between feeling strong, and now knowing that I can bench press over 800kg which was the limit on the machine. At that level I was working hard but not maxed out so I'm at least 8 times stronger than my old form, and that's generally not just the bench press. Furti's expression has moved from bemused to thoughtful and impressed.
"Athame's scaly ass Nat, how's it possible to pack that much power in such a small package? Physically for strength you're matching up there with a Krogan."
"Don't have a fucking clue Furti, just ended up this way."
"Yeah well you have stamina and strength covered, running speed we can test later. It's time to see if you can use that power. Get in the ring, let's spar."
"Uhm is that a good idea? I don't know what I can and can't do and I don't want to hurt you."
Furti snorts at me, then laughs before answering with a smirk.
"I appreciate the consideration Stern. Get in the fucking ring. I may have forgotten to mention I'm one of the rare biotics that does physical reinforcement. If you manage to lay a hand on me I'll be really fucking impressed. We fight so I can see what you know about fighting, then I work out how to train you. Now move your ass."
It's quickly apparent that this will be a painful learning experience. I say that as my lunge at Furti sees her somehow drift sideways before a trio of blows smash into my face and torso. Fucking hell I barely saw her move.
"Your stance is fucking awful and your telegraphing your intentions Stern. Come on, hit me!"
I surge at her again and I'm rewarded with a biotically enhanced knee to my mid riff that folds me over before a hammer blow on the back of my head smashes me into the mats. A vicious kick to my ribs encourages me off the floor.
"You don't stay down Stern, you get knocked down you get off the fucking floor or you're dead. Come on bitch, show me some of that fight that impressed Archangel." Furti sneers at me, and I launch myself off the floor with a growl, as anger surges through me.
3 hours. Furti beats the ever loving shit out of me for 3 hours. Kicks, fists, stomps, headbutts, elbows, knees, every part of her is a weapon and if not for my regeneration I would have been out of it after the first 15 minutes. I lost track of how many times she knocks me the fuck out. Woohoo I'm a vampire. Fucking wonderful except I never had to fight like this before and I don't know what I'm doing! The commando is a brutal trainer but I'm learning. Each time she gets me conscious Furti points out what I did wrong, explains a counter or shows me a stance. I have speed, power, raw strength and by now a lot of rage. Furti has reactions almost as fast as mine, plenty of speed and power of her own, biotic enhancement, and 300+ years of combat muscle memory. It takes me more than 2 and a half hours to even lay a strike on her, a solid shot to her torso that she bounces away from with an evil grin.
"Excellent Stern, I actually felt that. Maybe you won't be a complete pussy, now do it again."
Fucking hell.

This chapter has the potential to get huge so I'm gonna break it up. Enjoy and hopefully the next section won't be long coming.
