Ch. 7 aoibhneas na bhflaitheas – Heavenly Bliss
When the night came and the rain fell angry against the palace roof, shaking the sky as the thunder echoed in the dark clouds, they would meet. Nuada would thank the gods for such a storm using it to his advantage hiding their sounds of pleasure. Nuala cried into her pillow as he placed small bites and kisses across her back while thrusting into her. Dark marks forming on both their necks, Nuada, careful when marking Nuala, was unable to resist the taste of her flesh. But taking a bite of this sinful fruit didn't come freely, he knew there would be consequences and would gladly take the blame if it meant one more bite. Nuada grunted as he held on to her hips thrusting into her deeper, her maidenhood squeezing onto him tightly. "Relax." He panted into her ear. "Nuada!" she called out as he pulled out and thrusted back reaching the deepest part of her. Many hunting trips he had seen wild beast mate in such a way and imagined his own courtship each time with Nuala. He enjoyed when Nuala took the lead it brought out a fire within her that he never wish to see extinguished, but this position allowed him to release the primitive side of himself that for so long he locked away. He dragged her up, her back pressed hard against his chest, she turned to search for his lips and they met their minds blank, but their bodies unfazed as they spasmed riding out their pleasure. When the sky grew silent Nuala laid curled up in her brothers' bed, Nuada watching her sleep. She would be leaving tomorrow, no longer to postpone her return to the temple. And he to an extensive training camp in the south for a month. The idea of being apart drove both into each other's arms. Nuada peered out the window a smile graced his lips as the clouds parted for the stars, glimmering above, their position showed that they still had hours ahead. "I should go, but . . .Perhaps." He thought, staring down at her. The curve of her breasts, her pale skin, all of this had led him to lose control. "One more time." he leaned downing kissing Nuala's shoulder stirring her to wake, he kissed her sweetly as he parted her legs and thrusted into her again. The rain was forgiving washing away their sin and with the sun a brand new beginning.
The days turned into months and still no one saw them, Nuada made sure of that. Almost every day they came together but not always physically to Nuadas dismay. In the morning it would be only them, as their father attended many diplomatic matters they would awake, sometimes in the same bed, and meet in the dining hall, enjoying a simple breakfast laughing and conversing. In the early afternoon Nuada would find Nuala in the garden sitting among the crimson flowers that now stretched all along the courtyard. Kneeling beside her they would smile, and he would watch as she created an arrangement of small bouquets to be placed around the castle. As she would lean over, reaching for another blossom he would steal a kiss from her and each time she would pull away her face as flushed as the little crimson flower. In the evenings he would bring her to his room teaching her his newfound fondness for Goblin mechanics showing her how to create the simplest tinkers. Holding her from behind watching as she examined each bronze piece he would whisper into her ear what they were for. It would be difficult for them both as they both felt the hard bulge from Nuada press against Nualas backside.
The two dressed before the suns first light and Nuala departed. They met once again before their father, hugging and kissing one another before they parted ways. And then when no one was looking a kiss shared between them. "It wont be long, I'll see you soon." He whispered to her. She held him tightly as he did, nuzzling herself into his chest inhaling his musk, the smell becoming a great comfort to her. She whispered back "See you soon." They departed and rode in opposite directions, Nuala with guards and other priestess and Nuada with his comrades.
"Your sister grows more beautiful every day." Barrelhide said with a sigh, he watched as Nuala, now a tiny figure in the distance, with her entourage disappear into the woods. "Shame such a beauty is wasted." He said turning his attention to the rode ahead
"Now, now there is no greater beauty than that of a pure spirit and chactid maiden serving the gods." Orebow said placing a hand on his friends shoulder. Barrelhide laughed at Orebow's ignorance, "Her? Pure? With her brother, her spirit surely has been tainted long ago." Nuada gripped the reigns of his horse his eyes narrowed. "Well we have been through much, but tainted? Barrelhide you are too hard on your comrade and his sister." He went on "I will say that when we first met Nuala she was a simple girl Im sure we all thought that but now she has grown into a fine, dare I say -" Orebow stopped to look at Nuada, when he did not give him a look he finished with, "Beautiful women, who would make any man or magical being a good wife. Though she has turned away from such things, Im sure that does not mean she does not tussle with the sins of this world." "What I wouldn't give for one night to tussle with her nightgown." Bovereck said in a flat monotone, all turned in shock to hear a dwarf lusting after an elf. The silence soon broke with men bursting into laughter shoving and winking at each other. Nuada forced a smile but turned away unknowingly revealing to Barrelhide the small marks on Nuadas neck. "Whats this little prince?" he said reaching from his beast yanking Nuada's tunic back to reveal the small purple bruises. All the men looked surprised, many had assumed he had no interest in any of the girls. "Roughing about now with a noble girl or are you extra friendly with your own maids?" Nuada played dumb founded "Hmm must have been when I was training." No one believed him laughing at his excuse. "What did I say? Blame the brother for tainting the sister." He laughed out. "Get it all out soon, your father will probably have you marry soon."
Nuada knew this, every day he thought of this. As a future leader he would have the same duties of those before him. Marriage. Nuada didn't disfavor the idea of marriage but all his life he imagined it with Nuala. It could be no one but her.
Years after Nuada and the warriors left, and Nualas dreams plaguing her innocence, there came a time of peace between the world and the humans, when the death of their leader Maelan came and with his passing their wild ambition. Balor did not hesitate to take action, and so an agreement was made between magical being and man to work together as one as beings of the father tree, living in unity, solidarity, peace and many would dare to even say happiness, but all good things must come to an end.
"Rise for his majesty King Balor!" All of elven and beast alike rose from their spot to welcome the king and with a wave of Balors hand they returned to their seats. "Citizens. Privy council, my friends. We are called here to discuss the disturbance that has been plaguing our lands in the black hill forest." "Damn with it being a disturbance!" an orc shouted rising from his seat. "The humans are cutting down our trees, burning our homes, all to make way for themselves!" Many orcs stood with their brother shouting too in agreement, while others whispered and argued amongst themselves of their displeasure. "Are you to tell me," a troll chieftain called from the other side of the court rising to face the orc "that a horde of orcs were driven out by some mere mortal farmers?" a few beast and troll laughed along with the chieftain, but their laughter was cut short. "These were no mere farmers, they were mercenaries paid for blood shed! Destroying everything and all in their path, killing innocent men, women, even children." A dreary silence came over all, none dared to mock the misfortunes of another. "The humans wouldn't do such a thing." An elf called from his seat. "Would they?" All began to mutter their concern to the other asking the same question. "It is to soon to know whether these humans acted alone or were ordered by their sovereign." Balor said "There is a small country far to the east across the sea whose strength and numbers continue to grow." All were silent now. "Recently they have appointed a new king who is young but good in heart and has proven himself worthy, being blessed by the ruler of Avalon."
"You don't mean-" the troll chieftain said in disbelief.
"Yes." Balor knowingly stated. "The lady of the lake. It is she who has blessed and gifted this boy King with a sword of purest steel with strength and power unlike any blade. A blade they call Excalibur. His name is King Arthur and it is he we shall meet with to discuss these matters further."
"Move, you Stupid beast!" the man kicked at the horses side but neither his nor his companions horse would take another step forward, as they stood at the edge of the black forest.
"Leave them, lets go." The knight said and both dismounted and entered the twisting white fog. As they made their way through the darkness every creature from every corner cried aloud as the two men passed through their blades cut the gnarled branches.
"How much farther?" One said to his colleague standing closer with each step. The sounds of crows cawing and owls hooting sending shivers down his spine. "Not much." He grunted as his sword broke through the thorns and thick branches. Their blades eventually cleared the way through into a small opening, but the sight was not much more pleasant. Before them stood the foundations of a small cottage. The cobble stones were falling away from their layered spot letting in the nights cold drafts, its roof made of turf and hay was crumbling in, looking as if it could not even protect the residence from the smallest rain storm. Its door hung off its hinges allowing anyone or anything to come in. The men pushed the door aside letting it fall to the floor, taking a step in the smell of rot filled their nostrils, a boiling cauldron at the center of the room with bright red flame brought no light nor warmth to the cottage, the remaining rafters that still laid above them had tied to them dried plants and small dead animals dangling by their feet. "Lets hurry, this place gives me the creeps." The men stood in front of the cauldron staring into the darkness across from them. "Is it ready?" the knight asked to the shadows not even bothering with a greeting. For a moment there was only silence.
"Payment first." A raspy voice called from across the fire with a wrinkled pale hand reaching out, nails heavy with dirt underneath, long and uncut. The man placed a small satchel that jingled when dropped into the palm. Her nails gripped into the bag squeezing it tight the way a falcon catches its prey. A moment later she presented them with a small vial. "Are you sure it will work?" he asked taking the vile. The voice began to recite:
One shall divide, no pain or pleasure shall the lost half feel,
apart in the world where length shall be miles.
By this the Fall to bring of the Elvin being.
With this incantation the vile began to glow a deep blood red.
Writers corner
Woo Hoo! Im back baby! Yikes this chapter is actually the longest chapter that took me to finish and yet is the shortest next to the prologue. That's only because I tried to put so much into one chapter and it didn't work so I had to rewrite so much of it and cut and rewrite and cut and rewrite and cut and blah blah! Im sorry it took so long, besides figuring out where I wanted this story to go I also got a second job (which has been both a struggle and amazing.) My new and DREAM apartment which is next to a beautiful apple orchard(which has been both a struggle and amazing) and I have been trying to get away from my desk more to be outside, work out and loose weight (which has been both a struggle and amazing) LOL for those who have been a fan of mine and I know I don't have that many I thank you for the positive messages and I REFUSE to keep you dangling I WILL FINISH THIS STORY. That is my goal this year and I hope to write more Nuada x Nuala story but I think after this I will go into some popular anime or other movies (don't worry Nuada x Nuala will always be my top love to write list . . . it really is I mean the relationship is so dark twisted and messed up.) Thanks again
P.S. I met a mermaid and Jeffery Epestien didn't kill himself. Lots of love from my little apple orchard!
