Will we be okay?

Since Lux had been shot she was put in a cast and they made her stay in the hospital for a couple of days, there had been several students who had been shot that were in critical condition. When Lux had found out about Eric she would go and visit him.

He still hadn't woke up yet "his parents are coming soon," Lux turned to look at Math "are you going to get them?" he nodded his head he is the one to call and tell them about Eric,an hour later he was driving them to the hospital, "your son saved a life yesterday!" his mom looked at him " that is Eric for you always thinking about other people."

Eric could hear Lux talking to him and holding his hand but for some reason he just couldn't wake up "Eric thank you so much for saving my life yesterday if it hadn't been for you they say I wouldn't have made it if we didn't get out when we did!" he finally opened his eyes "Lux?"

When Lux heard Eric's voice she felt warmth all over before she could say anything his parents walked in "my baby is awake!" Lux got out of the way so his mom could get to him she saw Math standing in the door way "the doctor is on his way to tell Eric what happened," right when he said that doctor Cook walked in.

Eric tried to get up but he couldn't move "mom why can't I move?" his mother gave him a worried look and then the doctor spoke up "Mr. Daniels I have some news for you!" the doctor was starting to worry him " what is it doctor?" doctor Cook looked down "well the bullet hit your lower spin and that caused you to become paralyzed from the waist down!."

Lux had to hold her gasp in she looked at Eric and saw that he looked sad and mad Dr. Cook checked on Eric " later today we are going to be running some more test now that your awake," he looked at the family and turned to walk out so did Lux and Math, leaving Eric to spend time with his parents and brother.

Later that night Eric was lying in bed thinking his life was changed forever and he didn't know what to do but he knew one thing almost dying got him thinking and he knew he needed to break up with Lux.

The next morning Lux walked into his room "Lux we need to talk?" she sat down and looked at him "about what?" he sighed "I've been thinking a right now is not a good time to be in a relationship," he was going to say more but she got up and walked away " goodbye Eric Daniels."

Lux was heartbroken but she knew she would get over it, Lux was able to go home the next day and since she was in a cast she couldn't go up the stairs so Baze moved her bed into the living room, Lux had a lot of visitors for the first three days the one that surprised her was Fern she was happy to see her but the two people who didn't come and see her were Tasha and Jones she was a little sad that her own best friend hadn't bothered to show up.
